Original NES music,. creating a "melting sound chip" effect at 0:10

This is a short chiptune track in my vault. I experimented with very long pitch swoop effects that carry into subsequent frames. This is for a faux-NES game in development!

Nate Sassoon - Hidden False Kings (Unreleased WIP), Seeking Honest Feedback!

Hello everyone, I am sharing some of my music. I did vocals, guitar, bass, and drums I programmed, although I'd like eventually to replace with real recorded drums. I wanted to share here to ask whether my metal music like this belongs within the realm of gothic metal, and to seek feedback from metal listeners! I am inspired very much by black metal.

Also, if there are any metal musicians in this subreddit who are interested in collaboration please shoot me a dm!

composing classical piano trio with banjo!

my abilities on the banjo are humble! I wanted to share this little clip where I started my attempt to compose a classical piano trio, but mixed with banjo and combined bluegrass flavor with galant music of the 18th century.

Credit to Marienn Sánchez on violin!

sharing clip of my classical improvsiation/noodling

my mom recorded this when I wasn't looking. its of course kinda messy in places, but thought it was fun enough to share! I think it got better towards the second half... any other classical improvisers in this subreddit?

as you can probably hear, this is not partimenti/prepared improvisation this is just stream of consciousness noodling in the steingraber piano factory in Bayreuth, Germany.

Any Pocono-based musicians on this subreddit? (Classical, Jazz, Metal, Country, Electronic, Experimental, Funk, Prog, etc.)

Hello everyone! I live in Blakeslee PA, though while I am studying in Switzerland I am not able to be here that often. I have some friends in the local music scene and played at a few open mics in the past and have played in some fun jams. I write and produce classical and electronic music, but also play guitar+bass and do vocals so I make some rock and metal music as well. I'm in the musicians group on Facebook, but I was wondering if there are any Pocono musicians lurking here on reddit. If so, please share your music and upcoming performances!

Excerpt of my friend Antoni and I playing music of Francesco Landini (14th Century Music)

I am playing the Clavicymbalum. Antoni here is playing the contra part from this three voice song, “Lasso, per mie fortuna!” on organetto. We are once again playing medieval music in the school stairwell. This manuscript, (London Manuscript) once belonged to the famous Medici family (can be verified outside of Wikipedia), but now you can actually access scans of it from IMSLP!

Edward MacDowell - At An Old Trysting Place, (From Op. 51)

Hello everyone! This is my performance of one of the short sentimental sketches from Edward MacDowell's Op. 51 Woodland Sketches. I always found the performance instruction "Somewhat quaintly; not too sentimentally" to come across as very endearing to me.

my composition (explorer) for ocarina and electronics! [Excerpt]

This is a little recording of me playing my piece "Explorer" for solo ocarina and electronic music. I made a full version which I performed twice, also with live electronic processing, but I want eventually to make a full studio version. Would anybody else be interested to perform this piece for a solo ocarina concert?

Traumatized OST: Flames of My Soul [Inspired by Plants Vs Zombies, Portal] End Credits Song

This is the end credits song I made for the game Traumatized. It was inspired by the end credits songs of PvZ and portal. The gameplay is similar to binding of isaac and the story is about that purple guy overcoming traumatic experience through confronting his demons in his nightmares. I will post the link to the game in the comments as well, it was for a game jam and is free to play!
