Elon Musk’s super PAC is recycling the exact same playbook from 2024. Back then, his group launched spoof websites masquerading as an official Democratic platform. It was packed with exaggerated, caricature-level policy stances designed to alienate swing voters, like claiming Democrats wanted to hand out free healthcare to literally anyone who set foot in the country. They funnelled paid Facebook ads directly to these dummy DNC pages. Reporting the deceptive ads to Facebook accomplished nothing, and the operation ran unchecked. Now, predictably, they are running scams all over again, putting out misinformation about how and where to vote.

According to the site's own privacy policy, entering your info lets them collect your name, address, phone number, and political interests, with the right to share or sell it to third-party business partners for targeted marketing. If someone used it expecting basic civic infrastructure, their registration details just became fuel for a political ad machine.

Anybody else remember rushing through homework to catch The Flip Wilson Show? Thursday nights on NBC, 1970 to 1974.

The man was a machine. #2 show in the country his first two seasons - beat almost everything on television. And he did it as the first Black performer to actually sustain a network variety show, which nobody talks about enough.

Geraldine was the one that got me every time. "The devil made me do it!" got repeated in every schoolyard in America. But she wasn't just a bit - she had a whole personality. Sassy, in control, wouldn't take anything from anybody. My mother thought she was hilarious. My father pretended not to laugh.
