You might have seen my previous post. I found this doll in the trash today and picked it up, she’s in perfect condition, but I would like to wash her clothes just in case. But I see that her dress is glued to her body with what seems to be silicone. I have 0 experience with porcelain dolls. What should I do ?
My family says it’s probably cursed and I should get rid of it lol but I can’t, she’s so pretty, also in perfect condition. Does any of you know something about where she might come from ?
In the beginning of working in this shitty place I tried hard, but have realized that no matter what I do the result is the same, there is always something keeping me from making comission, also I fucking hate this job, so I’m done.
I have stopped trying, I don’t care. At first they reached out to me and asked what was wrong, that I had to try harder, etc. first I even thought about trying but it’s so draining, I’m prioritizing my mental health and doing the bare minimum.
For months now I’ve been actively not giving a fuck. I barely try to convince clients not to cancel, all my calls last from 2-3min. If a client starts yelling at me I either yell back or I hang up. In my last performance meeting my team lead sounded done with me lol. Somehow they haven’t fired me yet, the day they do I will throw a party.
So my sister and I have a big age difference (18 years), so more than a sister I have been more like a second mom to her. I still live at home and I work from home so I have always spent a lot of time with her. We have a good relationship and we have fun together, she has always been a good kid, but lately she is becoming disrespectful and disobedient. Ever since my sister was a baby she was always very hyperactive, she’s very reckless and she does things without paying much attention, she often breaks things because of her lack of care, she’s also extremely messy, but I think most children are.
Anyway, lately when we tell her not to do something she says ok but does it again and again. Also there are things she knows are part of her “chores”, not a lot, simple things like, clean your plate after you eat, if you use something put it back, leave dishes in the sink not just anywhere. She knows this, but never does it. When she was more little it was like oh it’s because she’s still little. But she’s almost 10 now. She knows, and still chooses to not do the things she’s supposed to do. The plate thing is a small example, there are many more, things we have told her she’s not allowed to do and she still does them.
We all try to talk to her, we explain the reason why we ask for things, we try to ask nicely, but sometimes after the 100 times repeating the same thing you kinda lose your temper, I have yelled at her many times, and I hate having to do it but it frustrates me. Same for her mom and her dad. When it comes to respect she has also started to be disrespectful and talking back specially to her mom.
If she was my own daughter I would take her to a child therapist, but my family is kinda anti therapy.
Idk what to do, I don’t know how to reach her. I am scared that this is only at 9. If she continues like this I’m afraid she will be a nightmare when she’s 15.
Any advice ?

I made plans to meet a friend for lunch, I’m driving to her town, already kinda dragging myself there cause I don’t feel like it that much. Suddenly she calls me and says, turns out her whole family is also eating lunch at the same restaurant and that her mom said that we can all eat together unless I’m uncomfortable and prefer me and my friend sit in a different table. Well, to me this is not really a real choice, I think it would be rude af to say oh no I don’t wanna eat with your family. So I lied and said I was fine with it. But I fucking hate this. I can’t even make an excuse not to go now. My friend knows me, why would she do this… if this happened to me I would just simply change restaurants…. Now I have to do small talk with a bunch of people I don’t know.
So in the video they’re talking about the part where he’s with Gavin and he says that MJ said “if you love me you’ll sleep on the bed”, and that this is misleading. Then they showed the full clip of the original interview and Gavin is referring to him and MJ “arguing” because MJ insisted he’d sleep on the floor and Gavin would sleep on the bed, and Gavin told him he could sleep on the bed but MJ insisted on him being the one sleeping on the floor and said “if you love you’ll sleep on the bed”. So yes it’s a bit misleading, because it leads you to think that MJ was using emotional manipulation to get kids to sleep with him on the bed.
I have never watched the Martin Bishir interview, even if Netflix cut the clip to make it look worse, I still think Michael Jackson did it. I don’t buy that he was this neurodivergent misunderstood creature. It is weird af to want to sleep in the same room as random children so bad, along with all the other circumstantial evidence.

I have a phobia of frogs and lizards since I was a kid. I am terrified of them. In my country they are very common and I had a few situations where they jumped on me, I can’t even see them in pictures. I currently live in Europe and thankfully here frogs are not usual unless you go somewhere in the nature I guess. I love the beach and I love to swim but I’ve never in my life swam in a river or a lake. In my mind I relate rivers and lakes with frogs, to me it’s a danger zone because frogs could be around, so I avoid it. I’ve seen so many videos on social media of people swimming in beautiful rivers and cascades and I want to experience that too but I’m terrified of finding a frog and making a scene, and I always see them. If there’s one I’ll see it, I have a good eye to spot them.
Have any of you with this same phobia ever been to a river or lake ?
This didn’t make much sense to me. She’s the leader of mayday apparently, how doesn’t she know that Agnes goes to the same school where they infiltrated Daisy, and that Garth is her guard ? Isn’t one of her main goals to get her back ? Then how didn’t she know where she is ? I thought one of the main reasons they sent Daisy back was to get Hannah. This was silly to me.
Im curious what her fate would’ve been if she hadn’t gotten married, she’s practically an orphan now. Women can’t be alone for very long in Gilead so what would they have done with her if Garth didn’t marry her ? Marry her to some other low rank nasty old commander ? Turn her into a maid ? Could she be an aunt after what she did ?
She really fucked herself up by killing the dentist, he would’ve been executed anyway, I don’t think I could live knowing my mom got hung because of me, I’d rather they just kill me.
Also I don’t like how in the show they decided to go with the narrative that Becka wasn’t also abused by the dentist, and that she did what she did for Agnes. It would’ve made more sense and make her look less crazy if she also had her own reasons to kill him, I don’t get why they’re deviating so much from the book.
And, don’t hate me, but I feel bad for Garth. Maybe I’m missing something, but why does Agnes feel entitled to ask him to make such a life changing decision over his life ? Demanding that he marries Becka, a very unstable person ? It’s not like Agnes and Garth ever got the chance to be close besides very short interactions, to me most of their connection is in Agnes head, I don’t even think Garth feels the same way about her. That’s why I’m wondering, what if Garth didn’t marry Becka and had married Agnes instead, would that have been so bad for Becka’s future in Gilead ?
My skin is medium, I’m not super pale also not very tan, I lean warm. All the self tanning lotions I’ve tried lean yellow and end up looking so unnnatural. Is there a good looking one you can recommend ? That looks more natural.
Someone made a post a while ago wondering how the hell does this position work. I agreed, everytime I watch this scene I’m confused trying to understand how it works. Many people on that post commented that it was so good because of the friction etc. So I gave it a try, and it was just not possible, no way the schooner could reach my Rebecca with my legs closed like that. He was perfect in every way, and in my opinion,out of her league, trading him for Steve was a downgrade. Maybe the good choice for her because she loved Steve, but still a downgrade. The first time I watched I remember being happy when her and Steve got back together, but now Steve just gives me the ick. He was such a manchild when they dated, whining about her not going to watch him in the playground, not being responsible, and not wiping his ass, ick.
To me Miranda looked the best after she had Brady and her hair was a strawberry blonde shade and not so short. She has such a pretty face but for most of the series she has horrible haircuts, either super choppy and spiky or an unflattering and unnatural shade of red. I hated how they cut her hair again, wish this look lasted longer.
