SpO2 data in App

I have my Garmin Connect account set up with Bevel. I'm currently using a Forerunner 70 and a CIRQA. Is there anyway to get SpO2 and Temp data to show up in the health monitor portion of the app?

Morning Report in Garmin Connect Please

Garmin, why do I need to look at my watch to get my morning report when I'm wearing my Cirqa in the morning? Just let it show up in the Connect app. I enjoy, and miss seeing my sleep data and morning report when I wake up.

With the Cirqa I need to wait for Garmin Connect to figure things out, sometimes its long enough that I mistakenly think my Cirqa didn't even record sleep. Versus on the watch I can just hit end sleep and wait a few moments for my sleep data and the morning report.

It’s a small annoyance, but it's something that nags me every morning.

Garmin CIRQA in Mauve is a sleeper pick

Next day delivery on the CIRQA in Mauve, guessing it’s not a popular color. But I think it looks pretty great!

11.99 feels like a lot

For the longest time VZW paid for my Apple Music sub, but when they stop footing the bill I took the plunge, and now they're raising the price to 11.99 and it feels like a whole lot to stomach.

Maybe on it's own it's not a lot, but when you factor in all the other subscriptions on top of this... It's getting out of hand.

I wish there was a way to get it discounted, like if Apple Card threw in Apple Music as a perk.

Walk activity metrics off

I did a walk with my Apple Watch on one wrist and the Cirqa on the other, pressed the button to activate the track activity function, and did the same for my Apple Watch.

Cirqa tracked .10 miles and the Apple Watch tracked .85 miles. They both logged the same amount of time.

Does the Cirqa take time to process the activity? Or is the metric just way off?

Cirqa and Sweat

As a particularly sweaty person, how does the stock band handle sweat in general? Especially without a spare band being readily available (or a silicone version) how is everyone handling sweaty bands from workouts?

Why is there so little information on the WHOOP MG?

I'm specifically looking for more information on blood pressure insights, and if there have been any studies on how effective it is. I've lost tons of weight and I am in the process of weaning myself off of BP medication, so I have to constantly monitor my blood pressure during the process. The MG seems like a good tool for this process.

But everything I'm seeing on Google is just from WHOOP's website directly. I know the FDA sent a warning letter and things have been dropped... But other than that, there's very little actual information.

Is there any actual data that the science is sound? Or is it all bunk? You'd think with MG being the top tier option there'd be tons of info so buyers can make an informed decision, meanwhile the majority of comments on reddit treat it like a scam.

Between the lack of available info, and all the negative reviews here on reddit... it gives me pause.

Personal Training Price

Is the pricing for a personal trainer standardized?

I've lost 80 pounds doing cardio (4 miles on treadmill 5x/week), and weight watchers.

I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting away, and I'd like to sign up for a personal trainer to guide me with the machines. I don't want to just figure it out on my own, and would prefer a decent amount of handholding.

However everything I've seen here on Reddit makes me feel like that's a bad idea. I haven't had any issues with my gym since I started almost a year ago, but if I go off of what everyone says here I should feel scammed 6 times over.

WHOOP or Bevel Pro

I got the WHOOP Peak for 199 from Amazon during their Prime week sale.

I have an Apple Watch (that I genuinely do not like sleeping with), and I have a Fitbit Air, that other than the Google Health App grievances, I liked the device.

I have been enjoying the WHOOP and the app experience, and the insights, but money is a bit tight, and I'm looking to cut corners here and there, and knowing that the WHOOP renewal will be much more expensive next year gives me some pause.

Is Bevel Pro + Fitbit Air/Apple Watch a good alternative?

Should I return the WHOOP while it's in the return window at Amazon and just use Bevel Pro?

I think they're currently having a sale, and it's even cheaper.

I tend to agonize and go back and forth on stuff all the time, so I genuinely welcome any pros or cons!

WHOOP and Sunscreen

This is my first year with WHOOP and it's summer time. I am a big time user of sunscreen since skin cancer runs in my family.

Does sunscreen degrade the sensor? Is this something I need to worry about? I've heard of things like DEET ruining certain plastics and wearables, so I'm just wondering if I need to be extra careful about applying sunscreen and wearing my device.

Low point healthy fats

Hello!

Curious to hear what everyone's favorite "low point" heart-healthy fats are!

I'm trying to lower my HDL and it's recommended to eat some heart healthy fats, the problem is I find them to be a very poor "value," points wise.

Guac is 6 points at Chipotle? 1/4 cup of mixed nuts for 6 points?

Are there any low point alternatives? Preferably pre-measure/pre-packaged easy go-to's.

Oura on Pinky

I just wanted to say that my local Starbucks Barista wears his gold Oura 5 on his pinky and it looked so good. I never thought to wear it on my pinky. But I'd be scared at how limited the sizing would be.

Are there any other pinky wearers out there?

New Whoop User Strain Question

What is a good strain score?

I'm so used to "more is better" "close all the rings" "meet your daily step goal" that the strain metric is mystifying to me. I am new to fitness, and I'm close to a week in with my Whoop 5.0, and so far I think the highest strain I hit was 15.3 and I wanted to die lmao

Looking back at my week, usually I sit in the 9-12 range, with some days I make a concerted effort to push.

Up until I got my Whoop, I would just walk 3-4 miles every other day, but once I got my Whoop, that walk barely even registered as strain! So now I've been doing 2 minutes at a regular pace, then 8 minutes at an increased pace with higher elevation, alternating for an hour. This cranked up my strain score quite a bit!

I understand that these metrics are a bit personal, and I really should be aiming to hit my daily strain goal, but I have more weight to lose and I need to push myself to meet those weight loss goals.

How are folks getting these crazy high strain numbers, and is that what I should be aiming to do?

Podcast coupon promo question

So I just got a Whoop during the prime days sale, and I was listening to the recent episode of the Whoop Podcast and they mentioned $60 off a new accessory. I decided to try and use it on the Navigator band and it seems to not be working.

Is it only on Whoop devices? Or new signups?

Lord of the Rings Sweepstakes

Does anyone have any info on the Ringconn x LOTR tie in sweepstakes?

I can't really find any information on the tie in. Is it just a give away for the movie? Or is there a limited edition version of the ring?

Please, I must have more information, my precious!

Whoop Coach Question

So a bit of context:

Since August of 2025 I've been on a health and wellness journey. Since then I've lost 70 pounds via weight watchers and walking. My doctor is even in the process of taking me off of my blood pressure meds!

When google announced the new Fitbit Air I was really excited. I preordered it, and I've been enjoying my experience quite a bit with it so far.

I know I am in the minority with this one, but as someone who has been gym averse for nearly my entire life, I really love the the AI coach feature. It's very encouraging, and I LOVE that it creates a weekly plan and goal for me. As someone who just needs someone to tell me what I should work on, it's been a godsend. But as much as I love the Coach there are some things I just don't like, it's not perfect, and I don't expect any single product to be perfect.

Now, with all this fitbit stuff, it sent me down a wearable rabbit hole, and the Whoop seems to be "crowning jewel" of fitness wearables.

Personally, I don't mind the subscription at all, and I like the no fuss charging etc. I'm looking for a product I can invest in that won't disappear over night, like Google is known for doing.

TLDR:

What I'm most curious about is:

1. Does the Whoop Coach do something similar? Will it create a fitness plan that's tailored for me? Will it increase weekly goals etc? Or is it only used for discussing the data?

2. As a sweaty ass dude, do the bands get really gross after wear? Or are they easy to keep clean?
