Need advice: Microsoft 365 subscription deactivated after a few months

I purchased a Microsoft Office 365 subscription for my MacBook through Amazon. It worked fine for a few months, but now the subscription has been deactivated and I can’t use Office anymore.
The return/refund window on Amazon is already over, and the seller has disappeared from Amazon, so I have no way to contact them.
What can I do in this situation? Can Amazon still help with a refund or raise a complaint against the seller? Has anyone faced something similar?
Any advice on the best way to recover my money or resolve this would be appreciated.

Is Ola/Uber/Rapido even useful in Puri anymore?

Just came back from Puri, Odisha, and one thing genuinely surprised me.

I noticed that many auto-rickshaw, e-rickshaw and cab drivers either don’t accept rides from Ola, Uber or Rapido, or simply prefer negotiating directly with passengers.

The reason seems pretty obvious — they don’t want to pay commission to the platforms.

For example, a ride that might show up on an app for ₹50–₹70 can easily become ₹100–₹150 when negotiated directly, because drivers quote their own price.

What I don’t understand is: if drivers are active on these platforms but consistently refuse app-based rides, what is the actual purpose of having these services available?

I also feel there should be some accountability from the platforms. If a driver repeatedly accepts/maintains an active account but refuses almost every ride, there should perhaps be some penalty or at least a system to identify such behaviour.

At the same time, I understand the drivers' side too — commissions, fuel costs and low earnings are genuine concerns.

So I'm curious:

Should drivers be penalised for repeatedly refusing app rides, or should passengers simply accept that local drivers can charge whatever they want?

What has been your experience with Ola/Uber/Rapido in Puri or other tourist cities in Odisha?

Would love to hear both passenger and driver perspectives.

Why do people post baby photos with an emoji covering the face?

I've always been curious about this.

I often see parents posting photos of their newborns or babies on social media, but they cover the baby's face with an emoji. If the goal is to protect your child's privacy, why post the photo at all?

I'm not criticizing anyone—I'm genuinely trying to understand the reasoning. It feels a bit contradictory to share the picture publicly while hiding the most important part.

Personally, I think having a baby is a beautiful and natural part of life, not something that needs validation from strangers online. If you want to keep your child private, that makes complete sense. If you want to share them, that's your choice too. But posting the photo and covering the face with an emoji always makes me wonder: what's the purpose?

I'd love to hear from parents or anyone who does this. What's the thought process behind it?

How are people getting Claude Pro/Max at a discounted price?

I've seen people mention that they're paying much less than the official Claude Pro/Max subscription price.

I'm curious:

  • Are there any legitimate student discounts or regional pricing?
  • Do people use family/team plans to split the cost?
  • Are there any annual promotions or partner offers?
  • Any other legal ways to save money?

I'm not looking for cracked accounts, shared credentials, or anything that violates Anthropic's Terms of Service. Just wondering if there are any genuine ways to reduce the subscription cost.

Would appreciate any tips or experiences. Thanks!

Is there any genuine way to get an SBI Credit Card as Lifetime Free (LTF)?

I'm looking for an SBI Credit Card with no joining fee and no annual fee.

Has anyone here actually managed to get an SBI card as Lifetime Free (LTF)? If yes:

Which card was it?

How did you get it?

Any genuine tips or tricks that worked?

I'm looking for real user experiences, not agent promises.

Should UPI's daily limit be increased to ₹2 lakh?

I think it's time to increase the UPI limit from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh/day.

For higher-value transactions, banks could simply require an extra verification step (OTP, debit card authentication, or stronger risk checks) instead of limiting everyone.

The alternative is often IMPS/NEFT/RTGS, where many banks impose cooling periods or activation delays for higher limits, which can be frustrating during emergencies.

What do you think? Would you support a higher UPI limit with additional security, or do you think the current limit is enough?

Is the Income Tax Department processing ITR-2 refunds at all?

I filed my ITR-2 on 16th June, and it's been well over a month now. My return is still under processing, and there's no sign of the refund.

Just wanted to check if I'm the only one, or if there are many others in the same situation.

Filed ITR-2 on: 16 June

Current status: Processing

Refund: Not received

If you've already received your refund, please mention:

Your filing date

ITR form (ITR-2?)

When you got the refund

Let's see how many mid-June ITR-2 filers are still waiting. 👇

Vivo X200T Update Delayed? Last Update Was in May

Has anyone else noticed that the last software update for the Vivo X200T was released back in May? It's been a few months now, and there hasn't been any new update or communication from Vivo.

Does anyone know:

When can we expect the next update?

Is Vivo delaying updates for the X200T, or is this normal?

Has anyone received a newer update in any region?

I'm really happy with the phone overall, but regular security patches and bug fixes are important. Just wondering if other X200T users are in the same situation or if there's anything we should do besides waiting.

Would appreciate any information or experiences. Thanks!

Is anyone else tired of the same condom ad playing in almost every cricket break?

I have no issue with condom advertisements or awareness campaigns—they're important. My concern is the frequency.

While watching cricket with parents, grandparents, or young kids, it gets awkward when the exact same condom ad plays in almost every ad break.

Children naturally start asking questions, and not every family is comfortable having that discussion in the middle of a match.

Why can't streaming platforms rotate a wider variety of ads instead of repeating the same one over and over?

Am I the only one who feels this way, or has anyone else noticed it too?

First-time visit to Odisha (Puri, Konark & Bhubaneswar) – What scams or tourist traps should I watch out for?

Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting Odisha for the first time and will be spending two days exploring Puri, Konark, and Bhubaneswar. 🗺️🏖️

I'd love to hear from locals and frequent travelers about the common scams, tourist traps, or overcharging that visitors should be aware of. Things like: ⚠️💸

Temple-related scams or pushy priests at Jagannath Temple 🛕🙏

Taxi/auto fare negotiations 🚕 bargaining

Hotel booking or hidden charges 🏨💰

Beach or sightseeing scams 🏖️👀

Shopping tips and bargaining etiquette 🛍️🏷️

Any areas or situations to avoid 🚫🤫

I'm looking for practical advice so I can enjoy the trip without unnecessary hassles. Any tips, dos and don'ts, or local etiquette would be greatly appreciated. 👍😊

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Why hasn’t the Bihar government preserved and promoted our historical monuments like other states?

I genuinely wonder why Bihar, despite its rich history, hasn’t done a better job of preserving and promoting its historical monuments as major tourist attractions like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have. Take Golghar in Patna, for example. It was once a major attraction for outsiders visiting Patna, but over the years, it seems we have lost its charm and tourism potential due to inadequate maintenance and preservation.

Bihar has an incredible historical legacy, but are we doing enough to preserve it and present it to tourists? Instead of letting our heritage sites lose their importance, shouldn’t the government invest more in restoration, maintenance, cleanliness and tourism infrastructure?

What do you think is stopping Bihar from preserving and promoting its historical monuments the way other states have?

Received a suspicious/tampered product from Flipkart, but they are refusing return due to Open Box Delivery. What can I do?

I ordered an Ariel detergent pack (around 4 kg + 2 kg) from Flipkart. After multiple delivery delays, I finally received it today. However, the packaging looks tampered with and the powder seems to have been manually filled or repacked from outside. This has made me seriously doubt whether the product is genuine and safe to use.

I contacted Flipkart customer support and requested a return or refund, but they refused, stating that the product was under Open Box Delivery and therefore not eligible for return. The delivery person was also in a hurry to complete the delivery, so I was unable to properly verify everything at that moment.

I am now unsure of my options. Has anyone else faced a similar situation with Flipkart? Is there any way to escalate this further or file a consumer complaint for receiving a potentially tampered or fake product? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
