What’s your favorite color for a Birkin or Kelly?
Wondering what’s everyone’s ideal/favorite color for a Birkin/Kelly that they want or already have?
Mine would be Gold!

LO will be 8 months next week and we’ve done 4 days of Ferber for night sleep so far. Tonight will be night #5.
It’s going really well. Last night was the fourth night and she didn’t cry when we put her down and she fell asleep right away.
We’re planning to do Ferber method for naps as well because she only does contact naps after being rocked or we take her out for stroller naps right now, none of her nap are in the crib but she has always slept in her crib for night time sleep (we used to just nurse to sleep for night time sleep).
I was wondering when is the best time to start nap training since we just started sleep training for nights 4 days ago. If anyone has any experience to share, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Also, in your experience, were naps a lot harder than to sleep train than night time sleep?
A lot of soft toys for babies and soft cloth books aren’t machine washable. How do you clean those before giving to baby? Looking for advice/tips as a FTM.
Thank you!
FTM and I’m planning to do the Ferber method to put my baby to sleep at night and for middle of the night wakings.
My question is, if my baby cries and wakes up in the middle of the night, how do I know if she’s actually hungry and I should feed her rather than doing the check ins?
FTM and baby is 7.5 months old. We haven’t sleep trained before because she was sleeping through the night from about 4 months but around 6 months she’s waking up usually at least twice a night.
I’d like to try the Ferber method but I have a few questions.
Currently for night time, my husband does a short bedtime routine in the living room which is read her the same book on the couch, then sing a short song and then a kiss on the forehead and then he says “time for bed”. Then my husband carries her to the nursery because my nursing chair is there and I nurse her. We have been nursing to sleep for bedtime sleep since she was born so she falls asleep at the boob for bedtime sleep (for naps we rock her to sleep because she doesn’t fall asleep at the boob for naps) then my husband carries her to our bedroom where we room share, he sits on the edge of our bed and holds her slightly upright for 10 mins (shes already asleep) to help her digest to prevent spitting up and then puts her in the crib asleep.
I’d like to stop the nursing to sleep association if we’re going to sleep train but she usually falls asleep at the boob.
I have a few questions. Should I nurse her for her final feed before bed then wake her up in order to do the bedtime routine? Does the bedtime routine need to be in a dim room? Currently we do it in the living room and it’s quite bright there as the sun hasn’t set yet and we can’t lower the blinds since they are broken. Should we do the bedtime routine in the nursery instead where it’s dimmer?
We also room share, should me and my husband just sleep on the couch for a few days until the sleep training is successful?
Also when baby wakes up in the middle of the night, how do you know if you should actually attend to them because they are hungry. I don’t want to do the check ins and not pick her up to feed her if she’s actually waking for hunger versus just waking up out of habit or needing comfort
I rock my 7.5 month old over my shoulder til she falls asleep then I sit down while I hold her in the same position the entire time she’s sleeping for naps. She doesn’t like to nap in the crib and I can’t seem to do a successful crib transfer.
She used to be able to nap like this for over an hour but ever since around 6 months, she’s just waking up after one sleep cycle so naps are only about 40 minutes. Given her age, I don’t see how I can drop the third nap soon if each nap is only 40 minutes or so and I don’t know what to do anymore.
Anyone have any suggestions I’d greatly appreciate it
Edit: when she does a stroller nap, she can nap for a long time, I end up needing to wake her up when I cap the nap at 2 hours. So on days when each nap is long because she had a stroller nap, she only does 2 naps a day. It’s just when she’s contact napping on me that she can’t link the sleep cycles and will wake up after 40 minutes and therefore we do 3 naps on days that her naps are short. I can’t always have her nap in the stroller if the weather doesn’t permit and the only other way she will nap is contact napping so I really need her to sleep longer than one sleep cycle when she’s contact napping in order to only do 2 naps a day.
If you have a pair of Jet sneakers, can you share a picture of it on? Trying to decide on color combo.
Many thanks!
Hope this isn’t confusing but I don’t wear outdoor clothes indoors, so I have separate indoor clothes and separate outdoor clothes but I also don’t let my indoor clothes touch my bed.
My indoor clothes can touch the living area furniture like the couch, kitchen chairs, etc. but when I get into bed, I only allow myself to have my pajamas/sleeping clothes touch my bed.
Is anyone else like this?
Fit check please. LO is 7.5 months and 17 lbs
How close should baby be against your chest?
Looking for recommendations for baby carrier just for quick up and downs around the house like if I needed to wear her in order to do one task and I don’t want to go through the trouble of buckling up with a regular carrier just to wear her for 10 minutes.
Any recommendations?

Curious for those who rock their LO to sleep and then contact nap, what’s your method?
I hold LO over my shoulder to rock her til she falls asleep and then I sit down and support her weight with my one arm but I am worried about how sustainable this method is as she gets heavier
Currently she’s 7.5 months and 17lbs
Fit check for me wearing Tula Free to Grow with 7 month old
Also how do you know how close the baby should be pushed against your chest?
Doing a fit check for my husband. Baby is 7 months old wearing Tula Free to Grow
Thank you ❤️
I don’t ever leave my baby unattended when she’s eating in the high chair so I was wondering if it’s necessary to strap her in the safety harness?
For reference, baby is 7 months old and we have the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair
LO is currently 7 months and her two bottom teeth have cut through but there’s no biting pain yet.
Wondering after how many teeth do you start to feel the pain from biting. Trying to brace myself for the future pain lol.
I’ve heard that frozen microwaveable dinners (e.g., frozen pastas, frozen burritos, frozen pot pie, etc) are unhealthy but what exactly is unhealthy about it?
I like eating them because they are quick and taste good but what negatives are there health wise to eating them?
