Recently used my Amex platinum at magnolia bakery in nyc and got a resy credit for it. Magnolia bakery isn’t on the list of resy restaurants so I’m wondering if the credit was a glitch and if they will reverse the credit.

Was wondering if a child grows up as an only child, do they tend to have more certain personality traits if they didn’t have as much time with other kids apart from school and whenever they see their friends outside of school?

Even if a child is an only child and plays with other children because they have friends, I’m sure it’s still less than if they grew up with siblings.

I’m wondering if only children tend to take on certain personality traits from not being around other children as much as children with siblings and having to spend time with their parents when they’re at home as opposed to having siblings to play with.

I noticed my husband who is an only children is very serious and mature vs me who is the youngest of 3 is the opposite of him.

On my Miele W1 washer, the Normal cycle doesn’t allow me to change the spin speed, it is default Max speed which I find too harsh on my clothes. I use the Normal cycle for my everyday cotton and mixed fabrics clothes that don’t need a delicate wash.

To get around this, I want to select “no spin” on the normal cycle which according to the manual will omit the spin but will still drain the water from the drum, then when the Normal cycle finishes, I will do a “Quick Rinse” cycle using my desired spin speed. (I always do a Quick Rinse cycle after every wash cycle anyways)

My question is, because there wasn’t a spin cycle during the Normal cycle, will my clothes not get as cleaned since the dirty water from the wash cycle wasn’t spun away?

Does anyone own a Miele W1 washer and have any suggestions on how to get around the fact that the Normal cycle doesn’t allow any other spin speed other than Max?

FTM and I don’t cook regularly so I’m a big newbie in the cooking department. LO is currently 9 and a half months old and we are doing 3 meals a day. We also can’t just serve what we are making to baby because we don’t make anything for ourselves 😅

Are there any kitchen appliances, special pots, tools, etc. that you use regularly to make food for baby that make it easier especially for people who are not gifted in the kitchen?

Or any cooking/prepping tips you can share.

How do you know if you’ve hit your prespend since there’s no official acknowledgment that you need prespend to get a quota bag in the US?

Don’t know if anyone has been through this but recently when LO nurses on the right breast, her teeth are causing me pain (doesn’t hurt on the left breast) but she’s not actually biting me.

It’s not like there’s a split second of pain where she bites down and I can unlatch her and correct her by saying “no biting”. It’s just continuous pain as she nurses, because of her teeth, if that makes sense. She has her bottom and top two teeth, and another starting to form on the top next to her top two teeth.

I can also start to see a cut forming on the edge of my areola where her teeth are hurting me.

Has anyone experienced this and what can I do?

Wondering when do parents start dressing LO in 2 piece pajamas with a top and bottom?

FTM and I’m wondering how everyone is cleaning their LO’s straw cup after each solids meal if they are doing 3 meals a day.

The main body of the bottle can go in the dishwasher but I need to use the straw brush to clean the straw by hand in order to clean the inside of the straw and it’s such a pain.

Am I missing something or is everyone just doing this as well?

A lot of people say it’s important to have an SA relationship where it feels like they’re talking to a friend when they’re with their SA, but I was wondering if anyone has an SA relationship where it doesn’t feel like a friendship but they still receive QBs from their wishlist.

FTM, and need help on the best way to wipe LO hands and mouth after each solids meal.

Currently when LO is done eating, my husband takes her out of her high chair and he carries her to the kitchen sink and he puts her arms forward over the sink where I’ll use the extendable kitchen faucet hose and spray her hands with water then I’ll use a dry wipe and wipe her hands dry. Then I’ll take another dry wipe and wet it with water to wipe her mouth.

Is there a better way to clean up LO after a messy solids meal?

Edit: also what bibs are using during meals? I recently ordered the smock bibs with sleeves (yet to try) but because the straps for the high chair need to go over the smock bib, how do you keep the straps clean during the feed? If you use smock bibs, are you also washing the smock bibs after each meal? Please share any tips. Thank you
