How the hell did Buttercup know exactly where the house was when he didn’t make that long path ever, and how did he travel on paw from old New York to Appalachia in mere weeks?

In Mockingjay by the end of the book we learn that Buttercup miraculously made an entire journey from district 13 to 12 on paw.

Despite never knowing that long trajectory, given he was taken to 13 on an hovercraft and was inside a bag for the entirety of the trip.

He somehow canonically in both the book and the movie, made a trip in mere weeks from old New York to Appalachia and knew exactly the precise location of Victor’s Village and his old house.

I have always wondered how did a cat make an entire 800 km (500 mi) trip on paw and knew exactly the path to take? And how did he manage to keep himself well fed for the entirety of the trip?

What kind of book logic was Suzanne Collins aiming for?

How many dBs do you think the Royal Canterlot voice reaches on average?

Back in the past the Royal Canterlot Voice was the traditional voice used by Royal Authorities to address their subjects.

Over time the tradition of using it to address subjects was dropped in favour of sounding more gentle and keeping a normal tone when talking to subjects.

But given its volume, around how many dBs do you think the Royal Canterlot Voice reaches on average?

Lego My Little Pony

Today I visited the world’s biggest Lego exhibition in Lisbon 🇵🇹

I was hoping to see lots of Lego exhibits of famous franchises like Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.

But what I wasn’t hoping for was a giant built exhibit with Ponyville and Canterlot castle and our 6 favourite mares.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it, but my eyes don’t lie after all.

I really loved seeing a built Lego set of My Little Pony.

I don’t know if they will ever plan it, but it would be really nice if Lego really made some sets for the general public.

Drawing of Princess Pinkie Pie

Based on a digital art drawing of Pinkie Pie on Deviantart, I sketched this pencil on paper drawing years ago.

I found it a few weeks ago in an art folder of mine and decided it was time I finished what I started. So I added a few more of the missing details, and painted it with coloured pencils.

I really loved the original painting on Deviantart, and reached out to the owner of the original artwork for permission to share my paper on sketch version.

After getting their permission, here is my sketch drawing of Princess Pinkie Pie.

The original artwork and composition belong SapphireGamgee and were the inspiration behind my recreation.

Many thanks to SapphireGamgee for allowing me to share my recreation!!

Is there a possibility that Snow liked Katniss slightly?

It is implied in the books and heavily hinted at in the movies that Snow has a deep personal dislike for Katniss.

In the books we are introduced to the shaky dynamic when he visits her in her house, and instills fear on her. The dynamic later continues on, through his fear being present through the rest of the second book and the entirety of the third book. That is until she meets him in his garden where he tells her about Coin’s true nature.

In the movies we see more of Snow’s thoughts and feelings towards Katniss, while not necessarily 100% canon, we know the dislike begins ever since she shoots an arrow at an apple during her session with the gamemakers. In catching fire we see him look on with a dark look at her during victory tour footage and also her interview before the quarter quell, where he actually smiles when she goes on stage.

Iconically they have a conversation in mockingjay part 1 where he tells her the famous quote “is the things we love most that destroy us”.

After reading the prequel book and watching the movie adaption, could there be a chance that Snow may like Katniss slightly, despite his deep hatred of her. Because in part she reminds him of Lucy Gray?

After all as much as Snow still instilled fear on her and tortured her mentally, she’s one of the few tributes whose loved ones he didn’t kill.

He didn’t kill her family and Gale, whom he hinted he could easily hurt. Contrary to other victors who had loved ones die by his hand.

Do you think that for all his deep hatred for her, Snow may have slightly liked Katniss deep down?

Or was it all pure hatred, he was never able to fully act on due to her being the “darling sweet of the Capitol”?

How long would it take Celestia to take it down?

Princess Celestia was the ultimate and strongest magic caster in Equestria for at least 1,000 years until Twilight came along.

She’s for the most part practically a Sun Goddess, whose only weakness is only her vulnerability to having her magic drained.

Back in the Incredibles we were introduced to the Omnidroid who could only be destroyed by its own claws.

But of course Celestia would likely not be bound by those rules, and given her magic ability should she ever come to face with the robot it would be a mere question of when would Celestia take it down.

How long do you think it would take Celestia to destroy the Omnidroid V.10 from the Incredibles?

What was with Spike responding the way he did to Twilight after she spent the entire day cleaning the mess Rarity made because he brought a dark magic book to her?

In magic manifestation Spike brings Rarity a book she later uses to try to basically redesign and alter Ponyville in her image, of what the city should be according to her eyes.

By the end of the episode Spike brings Rarity back to her normal self by saying he won’t support her further altering of Ponyville. However as we later learn this led to Twilight having to reverse everything along Luna and Cadence.

If it took Twilight and two other Alicorns a set of hours to reverse the dark magic. It is clear that, the situation was by means no ordinary accident.

And when Twilight arrives home, and scolds Spike for what happened because he brought the book from the castle. He basically throws it in her face.

What was with Spike’s disrespect to Twilight when because of him she spent hours fixing Ponyville, not to mention Cadence and Luna had to clear part of their schedule to fix the mess as well?

What would happen if a person from our time somehow ended up frozen in cryonics and was discovered and awaken during the Hunger Games era?

Our world and Panem’s world are different and years to centuries apart.

While we don’t have as many as the Capitol’s technologies, we benefit of a world with more freedoms and rights.

I’ve been wondering what would happen if someone from our time was frozen in cryonics and was discovered and awaken in the Hunger Games era, perhaps by some Capitol scientific expedition team?

How would a human from our time be treated?

Would they be taken to the Capitol and made to absorb its propaganda?

Would they perhaps be sent to a district?

Would they become some kind of celebrity in Panem due to them being a relic of the past?

What are your thoughts on it?

Why do unicorns prefer a Witch’s touch to a Wizard’s touch?

In the 4th book we are introduced to Unicorns in a beasts class the 4th year takes.

When introduced to the unicorns a teacher instructs that the boys are not to interact with the unicorns, because they apparently prefer to be touched by witches rather than wizards.

I’ve always wondered why is it that in the world of Harry Potter unicorns prefer to be touched by female sex individuals but avoid contact with males?

Is there any backing from actual unicorn mythology that supports it?

What was Panem like before the dark days?

We haven’t seen much of Panem before the dark days and what led to the first rebellion, but we do know district people had more freedoms than the ones they have during the Hunger Games era.

Lucy Gray mentioned that the Covey used to be allowed to travel among all Districts, and were only forced to remain in 12 after the travel ban was imposed after the Capitol won the war. This means that district people likely had freedom to travel to and visit other districts.

Additionally we know there used to be hotels and also more regions in between the districts and the Capitol, that were apparently destroyed. And used as Hunger Games arenas for the 11th and 24th edition.

We don’t know however what led to the first rebellion in specifics.

Do you think the Capitol was already repressive and tyrannical? Hence why the districts rebelled.

Or do you think it might have been a kind of hybrid regime, and District 13 might’ve got cocky and convinced other districts to join the party, thinking they could break free and have total freedom for themselves? And their rebellion caused the Capitol to become tyrannical towards them.

Do you think it might’ve been more complex than that?

Would love to hear your takes!!!

Would Fluttershy make a good Wonderbolt?

Fluttershy is a sweet and kind pony. She enjoys taking care of animals, and having tea parties with her friends.

She has also shown she has a good talent for some activities such as singing, and even flying at top speed when she wants to.

If she were to join the Wonderbolts, how do you think she would fare?

Do you think she might link to her deeper assertive Fluttershy and push past all obstacles?

Or do you think Spitfire would break her emotionally, and perhaps she’d inadvertently tap into Fluttershy’s anger and perhaps Fluttershy would be kicked out of the Wonderbolts for lashing at and knocking Spitfire?

Have to ask: How do you think the Mermaid Princesses would interact with the Mane 6 from My Little Pony?

This is a crossover that has been in my mind for a while now. My Little Pony and Mermaid Melody are shows I’ve deeply fell in love with.

I know the two groups both focus on spreading love and friendship and defeating evil.

So I’ve been wondering if the mane 6 were to meet the 7 mermaid princesses how do you think the interaction would go?

Who do you think would best get along with?

Do you think we may see Lotso again in a future installement?

Lotso was the main antagonist of Toy Story 3, and possibly up until now the most memorable and terrifying of them all we’ve seen in the Toy Story Franchise.

He basically created a police state for toys in a daycare, by forcing new toys to endure the torture of the toddlers of the caterpillar room, while only toys he deemed special were permitted to experience a proper play by the kids of the butterfly room.

He has shown some level of deliberate evil by refusing to help or stop catastrophes even when he has nothing to lose. This is seen when he refuses to stop the conveyor belt in the trash center, when he basically wouldn’t lose anything by doing so and he was the reason everyone was in there to begin with.

He is later taken by a garbage truck driver who ties him to his truck’s grill and drives off with him.

He is never seen after this, but I’ve been wondering, do you think we may see him again in a future instalment where he may return for revenge, or perhaps even have a redemption arc?

Would love to hear your takes!!!

What made the Quarter Quell writer/s think the Games would last for at least 2,000 years?

In a deleted scene in “Catching Fire” we are presented to a room where the plans for a number of quarter quells are kept until the date of the game in question.

From the array seen in the picture we can see that there are at least 80 lockers there. This means whoever wrote the quarter quells had planned for at least 2,000 years of Hunger Games.

Now that was quite an optimistic prediction, given the games had trouble in their early years, and it could be implied over the years even the Capitol could soften up and decide there would no longer be the need for such a cruel punishment for the districts.

So what do you think made the Quarter Quell writer/s believe the games would last for at least 2 millenniums?

Is it possible the reason why Jax pressed the button to remain in the circus is because he didn’t want to return to homelessness?

In the 7th episode, the gang tries to escape the circus with the help of a mannequin that was supposedly another human character that had worked in the development of the digital world.

It turns out the mannequin was a smarter NPC created by Cain, and even the plot of the members escaping the circus was also an adventure planned by the A.I. in order to test the feelings of the circus members.

At the last minute Jax presses the button to remain in the circus, after experiencing a memory of his human counterpart running through a neighbourhood.

We later learn in the final episode this was actually a memory of him running from home after supposedly killing his mother and becoming homeless.

After that revelation in the 9th episode is it possible Jax wanted to remain in the circus because he didn’t want to (according to his own interpretation at the time) return to homelessness or having to deal with supposed legal consequences of having killed his mother?

How would Andy react if he visited Bonnie at some point in the future and discovered she “lost” Woody?

At the end of Toy Story 4, Woody realizes Bonnie doesn’t care for him as much as she does her other toys.

By the end of the movie Buzz convinced Woody to follow his heart and fully reunite with Bo. Woody does so, and from then on Bonnie resumes her normal life, without even noticing Woody is not present anymore.

Back at the end of Toy Story 3, Andy entrusted Woody to Bonnie. It is safe to assume that he clearly hoped the younger girl wouldn’t forget the cowboy so quickly. After all Woody was his favourite toy of all.

Ever since the end of Toy Story 4 I’ve been wondering what would happen if Andy visited Bonnie and discovered she has “lost” his one favourite toy?

Would you have most trouble dealing With Starlight’s snoring or Trixie’s sleep talking?

In the episode Road to Friendship, we see Starlight and Trixie trying to share the same sleeping space.

Both ponies struggle to sleep, Starlight is revealed to snore really loud, and Trixie sleep talks.

This ends up affecting both of their sleep for the night in the episode.

Supposing you were in a situation were you would need to share a bedroom with one of them, who would give you the most trouble for a good sleep?

Would you find it harder to deal with Starlight’s snoring, or Trixie’s sleep talking?

How are LGBTQ+ relationships viewed in Panem?

One of the things that the Hunger Games haven’t directly touched yet in detail is LGBTQ+ relationships.

We know that the districts are politically repressed, while Capitol citizens seem to have slightly more freedom for personal pleasures as long as they don’t get involved in politics and government authority.

In the “Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” we know there was a Queer couple of two men that owned a night bar if I’m not wrong. Later in “Sunrise on the Reaping” we know that Clerk Carmine one of the original members of the Covey had a intimate relationship with a man but kept it secret because, homosexual relationships were apparently frowned upon and stigmatised in District 12.

Outside those mentions there isn’t much more detail about how the LGBTQ+ community is treated in Hunger Games Era Panem.

What are your takes on it?
