Title says it all. I got Diablo 4 but I'm wondering if the game forces you to interact with seasons and battle passes and microtransactions to ultimately beat the game on solo.
So if I plan on just doing that could I have a good time with the game?
Guys I seriously don’t know what to do.
I fear the relationship between me and my partner is coming to an end. We aren’t married- engaged and we have a 2 year old daughter together and she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to either of us.
Well- mom and dad fight a lot. At least once a week or more- and it gets ugly sometimes. Lots of shouting and contempt for eachother and t drives me absolutely crazy how miserable I feel in this relationship.
Couples counseling doesn’t work and I fear nothing is going to change. Whenever we argue about something it almost feels like we just silently agree to stop talking about it until the next argument where it just blows the fuck up again.
But the thing is I can’t stand the thought of my daughter being raised by another man, her living under that man’s roof and eating his food and driving in his car. It just breaks my heart. There isn’t another man -yet- but just the thought of my daughter not being with me tears me up inside.
What the hell am I supposed to do? I’ve never felt so trapped. I just want what’s best for my daughter and it seems like no matter what me and my fiancé can’t stop fighting and arguing in front of her and she doesn’t deserve this!!!
I feel like a terrible father.

I’ve been wanting something more modern after playing Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 2. I fucking LOVE that game and it doesn’t seem like there’s a whole lot of modern alternatives.
Think of games like this:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (PS2)
Champions of Norrath
I’ve heard the Diablo games are similar but the fact that Diablo 4 is entirely online turns me off a whole lot. I like the old school mentality that the games I mention had- albeit they were pretty simple. I love the hack and slash, loot, one more dungeon type of feel.
Should I get Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil edition?
Diablo 4?
Or something else entirely?

Just look at how fly these things are! Y’all better snag yours before they’re all gone because I’d imagine they’re going pretty quickly.
It helps, of course, that I’m a huge fan of the OG trilogy so it adds to it. But the black with the purple lines and the stars and the rebel logo -chefs kiss- this thing is just fucking perfect.
I want to get into Diablo as I haven’t played any of them- but I want to start with something more modern if it’s possible. I heard Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor is a good one to pick up, or V- Rising.
I was also looking into Warhammer Chaosbane as it looks like it has similar gameplay.
Does anyone have any good recommendations?
Sure it isn’t as scary anymore, but the plot has to move forward with other things or it will get stale. We can’t have five seasons of monsters taping on windows.
I’m enjoying the character development and almost everything that is happening with most of the characters is interesting to me. I like what’s going on with Fatima, and I think Boyd, Donna, Victor and Henry are good enough actors and what’s going on is interesting to me- like a fly on a wall in a fucked up situation.
I haven’t been bored. I’ve actually been enjoying this season and don’t think it’s bad at all. I’m not about to claim those who don’t like this season are idiots or anything. I can see why people wouldn’t like this season- but when I see that most people don’t like this season it’s kind of shocking to me.
Especially when you consider a TV show like The Boys with a budget that’s 10x whatever this is with 10x the star power and STILL the final season ended up being trash- it kind of puts things in perspective. This season isn’t bad at all to me.
Just started playing dark alliance 2 and I think that it’s great- but anytime I go to switch a character to get past a certain section and switch back to my main, all my items are gone and my points that I built up for stats just completely reset.
Is this normal? If I start as the dwarf, then switch to the human, then switch back to the dwarf, why are all my items gone? How do I get them back? Am I supposed to just start every level like it’s the beginning of the game or something?
I just want to play as these characters without losing everything anytime I switch to get past a certain section and it’s really annoying

Within the story, Soldier Boy gives Homelander the V1 because he was in love with Clara. Got it. My question mainly arises when you realize that Homelander was sleeping with Clara AFTER Soldier Boy.
So…Soldier Boy gave Homelander the V1 because he thinks that Clara would have wanted to give the V1 to him? How does this even make sense? He’s effectively saying “hey, I’m madly in love with this woman but she would have loved you more” is the biggest cuck move I’ve seen in a while.
I feel like Soldier Boy would have destroyed the V1 because he finds Homelander insufferable, not because his ex girlfriend fucked his dad like what the HELL is even that? What kind of a reason is that? Since when did SB subscribe to Nazi ideology? That hasn’t been set up ONE bit
It’s just absolutely fucking brilliant. I love how Slayer is able to portray atrocities yet take us in the minds of the people who commit them. It makes the reader or listener ask lots of moral questions- and it’s what truly great writing does.
We all know Slayer is a “satanic” band and have lots of lyrics about Hell, death, Satan and hating Jesus Christ and God- but in my opinion- when Slayer puts you in the mind of people who are awful is when they are truly terrifying.
Take Angel of Death, a song about Josef Mengele, the Holocaust, and Nazi experimentation
Take 213, a song that takes us in the mind of Jefferey Dahmer and his thought process about hunting and killing people and the feelings he has while doing it.
And then we have Jihad. It’s the scariest Slayer song in my opinion. And the prayer at the end of the song is just perfect- “when you reach ground zero, you will have killed the enemy. The great Satan…Satan…..Satan.”
I remember hearing it for the first time and feeling genuinely spooked during the Lombardo double bass- marching part with Araya saying the prayer in the background. The atmosphere is perfect- the execution is top notch. The lyrics put us in the mind of the terrorists who committed the atrocities on 9/11.
It’s the perfect Slayer song and I haven’t seen a lot of other bands tackle topics like this. Yeah Cannibal Corpse lyrics are extreme but idk it just doesn’t feel as scary or nearly as spooky as Slayer is.
