I'm torn about how to feel on this one

On one hand, I do think this lady needed a reality check for how she thinks she is a victim but isn't, but on the other, I don't agree with Caleb making broad generalizations about women and society as a whole. It can be a dangerous rhetoric to assume most women are lying, and I don't think this behavior alone is the sole cause of the male loneliness epidemic. He went a little too heavy on pushing that idea imo

Should I get more layers?

I can't tell if the haircut I got recently to add layers helped much? I am considering getting more but I don't want my hair to look choppy (esp when straight). I have very dense, low porosity hair. Some of it is coarse. It's getting wavier the older I get (right now its mostly wavy with an odd loose curl here and there). My family has a trajectory of hair becoming fully ringlet level curly by their 30s so I need to figure this out πŸ˜‚

Please help me decide on an outfit for engagement pictures

The first four are ideas I had and the last pic is me for reference/body shape. I am going for a summery casual vibe and I'm leaning toward either white or light blue

How to successfully switch careers from claims adjuster/case manager to UX designer?

I currently work in the insurance world (basically) as a claims adjuster/case manager. I've been doing this for 2.5 years. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, and philosophy. I did vocational training for graphic design in high school but that is probably irrelevant at this point (I'm 25). Before claims I worked in retail pharmacy. I don't think I have any other relevant experience.

I want to change paths to UX/UI design and/or research. Ideally I'd land in the medical field, but I'm open to most options in the beginning.

I'm not sure where to start. I saw that WGU has an accelerated degree specifically in this field, but I don't know how helpful that actually is versus other pathways (like earning certificates, gaining experience in indirectly related areas, etc). Hoping someone has some advice

My time for bands has come 😞

One word: ouch. I only have the band on one side for some reason. Does the pain go away like it does for the braces themselves, or no since we're constantly replacing the rubber band?

Just reached season 11 and watched the episode about Phil's dad

I started watching this show from the beginning just for background noise while I did some hobbies. It grabbed my attention though, and I've been watching it since. I did NOT expect this goofy family sitcom to make me cry 😭

Derm says its sebderm but not a single product or medication has worked. Considering taking Accutane again?

Long story short, I've been dealing with an itchy and flaky scalp for almost a year now. I've tried just about everything you can get OTC, and have been using ketoconazole 2% for months. Also was prescribed clobetasol and hydrocortisone. It's literally getting WORSE.

I was always super oily, and I had bad acne as a teen so I took Accutane. I remember my hair and scalp were way less oily and I had no dandruff. My acne is starting to come back (mildly) and oiliness is coming back too on my forehead, so.. Idk.

Anyone have the same experience?

Not sure where to even start

I am 25F. I do figure skating but I work in an office on a computer full time, and I also spend a lot of time on my phone. I've had pain in my upper traps, neck, head, shins, knees, and ankles for as long as I can remember. I did sports my whole childhood. When I was in high school I saw a chiropractor for adjustments and a TENS unit. When I was 18, my PCP said I have fibromyalgia and wanted to prescribe gabapentin and pregabalin. I had anorexia at the time tho so that health concern kinda put all this on the back burner, and I think it was assumed that all the pain was due to low BMI and stuff. I've gone to an orthopedic doctor for shoulder impingement/bursitis on my right side and he didn't look at anything else. Now recently I saw a chiropractor who took xrays and did the scans. He wants over $1k for just 12 visits πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« I don't even know what the issue is, I just know that different providers keep throwing different things at me. Ideally I'd like to exercise at home (or the gym) and try to fix this on my own, but I don't even know where to start :/

Also please excuse my house lol. We are renovating

How do I get a better cervical spine posture without a chiropractor?

Went to a chiropractor and he said it'll cost at LEAST $1k for treatment (and that's with insurance) umm I'm broke asf 🫩 But I get chronic neck pain and headaches, struggle with pronation when I figure skate, get shin pain, and have started getting some sharp pain down my arm and into my wrist and hand on occasion

Eyesore house update (y'all can lower your pitch forks)

The first pic is just an AI rendering combining most of the ideas from the original post. The second is current. The gable vent was added by me because we need an attic vent and don't have a choice but I want to at least make it match. Obviously it won't look exactly like the AI version, but we already bought the green paint to get that started 🫑 Thanks everyone

(Also it added a random house number haha so don't worry about that)

Need help with ideas on how to make house less of an eye sore

We eventually plan on painting or staining the brick and redoing the porch etc but we are lowkey broke currently (first home). I'm thinking of painting the shutters and trim, but I have no idea what color to do. Also want to build a pergola over the porch maybe? That might be hard with the dimensions though and I don't know what color/wood stain to do. And I hate how naked it feels above the big front window but I'm not sure if anything can be done about that. All ideas welcome!! Budget friendly preferable tho!

ETA: Ok we won't paint the brick so y'all can stop crucifying me

Thoughts on this outfit?

I am 25F and have no clue how to dress well. I'm trying but 😬 I also have body image issues as a recovered anorexic (it's been like 5 years but I still find it hard to wear form fitting clothes) so I want a looser/flowier vibe, but idk how to achieve that without also looking like nothing fits

Why is there a surge in people with hEDs and POTS?

I don't want to be skeptical, but I have been seeing SO many people say they have these conditions. It's not even videos that I'm coming across and thus an algorithm issue... I see it in tons in comments of unrelated videos. Like what happened? I'm also confused because 99% of the symptoms are something everyone has (unless I also fall into this category lmfao). Like of course you get dizzy in the summer heat when you don't drink enough water and electrolytes, and I think everyone's body reacts when you go from laying to standing really fast. Also tons of people are hypermobile without it being a condition. Perhaps it was just underrepresented before..?

Would Loreal Hicolor in ginger blonde w/ 20 vol lighten this

This is my current hair, which I've been using Loreal Hicolor in sizzling copper on for years. I'm naturally ash blonde. I really would like a lighter, more strawberry blonde ginger color, but idk if I can achieve that without bleach. Even just one shade lighter would be nice but not a super vibrant orange

ETA: It pulls a lil more red IRL

I used to have short hair. Should I go back?? 😩

I liked it but I'm nervous because hair takes so long to grow 😭 But I also wear it up like 99% of the time
