I’m a sucker for this setting, and the execution is great. Love the art, story and dialogue especially.

Really digging Daredevil: Yellow, by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. On Marvel Unlimited, of course.
Because my son can’t remember Wolverine’s name, he refers to him as Clawhauser, the lovable character from the Zootopia movies.
Looking to repair this stuff around the windows. Is this called glazing? Any thoughts on what size this is or what to buy to replace it? I assume I need to buy a long strip then cut to size.
(Also, I know the decking is a mess, but that’s for another day.)
Thought this was interesting - the old Dentsu HQ building (demolished in 2021) was conceived as part of Kenzo Tange's Tsukiji Redevelopment Plan, in which multiple skyscrapers in the Tsukiji area would be connected with elevated walkways. These odd protrusions on the side of the old Dentsu building are supposedly part of that unrealized plan.

This public housing complex measures ~530 meters along its zig-zag path. It is one of the inspirations for the manga, Domu: a Child’s Dream, by Katsuhiro Otomo (creator of Akira).
Happened to come across this site that has a ton of old (1920s, 30s, etc) aerial photos of Boston. Thought these might be of interest.
Posted this to the Yokohama sub, but thought this would be of interest here too: Picture of Yokohama's Landmark Tower (tallest building in Japan from 1993-2014) under construction in 1991. Most of the rest of Minato Mirai has yet to be built out at this point.
This sub helped me choose which Seiko to dive into last year. Kept the blue rubber OEM strap until this weekend. Switched out to a grey NATO. I like how much the feel of a watch changes just based on the strap.

At the end of the movie, an informal baseball game is played on the grounds of the former Yodobashi Water Purification Plant (which shut down in 1968). This photo is taken from the site of the Hyatt Regency Shinjuku, which was built in 1980.
The large building in the middle of the frame is the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building 新宿住友ビル (labelled as "3").
Saw this photo at the Murasaki Sports store in Minato-Mirai, Yokohama. Looks like a skateboard halfpipe on a docked ship, along with a ton of fans. Don’t know who the dude crowd surfing is.
Far too big for my wrist, but I love it.
