[OC] 50 Years of ISRO Launches (1975–2025)

*Data sourced from Wikipedia.

*The cost was estimated based on the type of rocket.

Noticeable structural break can be seen post-2014, shifting from an average cadence of 1.9 launches/year to 7.1 launches/year, marking a profitable decade in ISROs journey.

The superfood we are told to ignore because it's impure or something idk

We have traditions of not eating onion and garlic for an entire month of Saravan, it's not considered to be pure enough to be put in prasada. And yet it's one of those foods that just keeps inventing new reasons for us to keep eating it.

India's railway safety record has witnessed a remarkable transformation. Consequential train accidents declined from 234 in 2005-06 to just 2 in 2026-27, reflecting sustained improvements in infrastructure and operational safety.

What If India Started Scientific Coal Mine Closure 15 Years Earlier?

India recently expanded international cooperation on scientific coal mine closure. That made me wonder about an engineering counterfactual.

If India had made scientific mine closure a national priority around 2010 instead of gradually strengthening it over the following years:

- Would we have significantly fewer abandoned and hazardous mines today?

- Could groundwater contamination and land degradation have been reduced?

- Would earlier investment in mine reclamation have saved money in the long run?

- Or would the higher upfront costs have reduced coal production, affected energy security, or slowed expansion?

I'm interested in the engineering, environmental, and economic trade offs, not just whether it sounds like a good idea.

I'd especially like to hear from mining, civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineers on what the biggest technical or policy constraints would have been in 2010.

Bahubali - Eternal War- Action fanart

After watching the Bahubali - Eternal War trailer, I got inspired and wanted to create a short action piece about it. I explored the power of Blender and 3D storyboarding, by creating a fight sequence with a SINGLE camera movement. I recreated a section of the 3D set in Blender and drew the panels in Storyboard Pro #storyboard #actionsequence #epic #bahubali #indra

Huge misinformation campaign was being spread by these media houses and independent youtube journalists regarding India selling it's gold reserves(when the gold reserves were infact at all time high 881 Tn)

A huge misinformation campaign was uncovered spearheaded by Jamia Times News outlet having the same word pattern in all the posts made by the so called independent journalists from YouTube, stock marketing advisor channels, unregistered news outlets etc.

Bloomberg tweet source: https://x.com/i/status/2062576375211434483

The youth of the country needs to understand how these social media pages are influencing people by spreading fake news in the name of freedom of speech. Due diligence must be taken BY THE YOUTH THEMSELVES to counter such news channel posts by waiting for official data release and by reporting anybnews media who is spreading misinformation without any shame.

SHAME on the journalists who taint the sacred right of freedom of speech, SHAME on the people who blindly attack the establishment without checking any data to verify EVERYTHING WRITTEN ON THE INTERNET WORD BY WORD. WORD. BY. WORD.

Time to fight back against all such mind killers. Time for the youth to be responsible.

Horrifying Visuals of Bakrid in India !

This is not a Hindu-Muslim issue. Lakhs of cows are killed everyday of the year !

Most Hindus don't eat cows but they do drink milk and milk products.

The moment cows stop producing milk they are transported and slaughtered.

India is one of the biggest beef exporter because of the huge amount of Milk consumers in India.

Milk is NOT vegetarian. Milk is blood-red cruelty.

[FACT CHECK] Viral image of two schoolgirls crying amid rubble is from Bolpur, July 2024 — being recirculated to spread unrest in Bengal

A video/image showing two school-going girls in uniform sitting amid debris is going viral on Facebook with an emotionally charged caption claiming their father's food stall was demolished recently, leaving the family devastated.

The truth:

This footage is from Bolpur, West Bengal, dated July 2, 2024 — over a year old

The stall belonged to one Raju Das, who was operating an illegal encroachment

The structure was removed after multiple official notices were served

This happened during TMC's own administration — not a new or current incident

The post is being deliberately reshared to manufacture outrage and communal/political unrest in Bengal

Why this matters:

Emotionally manipulative content using children's images spreads faster than corrections. This particular post has already hit 550+ comments and 548 shares on Facebook within 2 days, showing how quickly misinformation scales.

The original uploader framed it with hashtags like #BabarSangram (Father's Struggle) and #ManabikatA (Humanity) to maximize emotional engagement — a classic misinformation playbook.

Always reverse image search before sharing.

I just saw this post cannot this not be applied in rajasthan.

so i saw this and was somewhat amazed as i heard the reason why thier is no large electricity production in rajasthan is because it is very hard to store electricity. can we not use this method which helps electricity generation for industrial use.

I asked chatgpt it also agreed with me rajasthan is a great place for this, I am not knowledge so it could be i am very much wrong about this but could this work?
