I dont understand how specific tax breaks can be given by Columbus to amazon. I hear "they'll create jobs"... yes..... because its being RIGGED for them and against other companies. How is this legal? This seems like the opposite of capitalism, basically funneling peoples money to amazon

These lawsuits now cause me to think of Buc-ees everytime I think of gas. What if that is happening all over? What if all of us now see Buc-ees as synonymous with any gas station, and instead of saying we are going to Speedway we now say we are going to Buc-ees. Would Buc-ees lose their mark?

Since Buc-ees has become the default term for gas stations, would they lose their trademark to the "Buc-ees" name?

Saw a post in one of the legal groups about someone being foreclosed on their home near Toledo ohio. do rent assistance groups typically also assist homeowners? or is that limited to renters. Is there any statewide ohio groups that can help them? I think theyre already behind so its kinda urgent

Is Iran going to follow the laws of war? I'm pretty concerned that if we do a ground invasion they will simply gas our troops, and when the UN sees this, no one will blame Iran and instead we will be blamed for starting the war. Also concerned Iran will attack desalination plants if we dont leave

Does anyone have any idea if gas tax relief is coming or not. I thought the gas tax was being removed to help out because the Iran war was driving up prices. I am still seeing gas above $3.50 everywhere. So whats actually going on

Heads up... If you lost an iPhone or had one stolen...

This was posted about 30 minutes ago in a Columbus B/S/T group with the description: "I found it while cleaning; don't ask questions—there's a passcode on the screen."

If this is your phone, DM me and I'll get the link to the persons Facebook profile and listing.

Not looking to argue, just seeking to understand. So the objective of the war is to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Is the risk from Iran getting a nuke being weighed against the amount of people that will be killed in a war to prevent them from acquiring a nuclear weapon? BBC estimates 461,000 people died due to the Iraq war. So i'm wondering if there are any estimates on how many people will die as a result of the Iran war, which has a much larger population. In addition, since the Iran war will cause a huge drop of world oil for a time period, there's no doubt there will be a loss of life in other countries due to shortages.

So how many people are we willing to exterminate in order to prevent a hypothetical scenario? Because Iran getting a nuclear weapon is not the same thing as Iran using a nuclear weapon. Just wondering if more lives will be lost in a war to prevent Iran from getting a nuke than would be lost if Iran actually got a Nuke, but never actually used it.

Is this war worse than the actual nuke? Thank you in advance for your explanation.

What month do you think has the best weather in Columbus? I'm thinking September? People might say May but it seems like it rains a lot in May
