I played 0 like 7 years ago and I'm searching for that high again, but I can't find it anywhere. There's nothing that makes me want to say "hell yes, let's goooo" quite like it.

Just for some context: I'm born in Brazil, but ethnically I'm basically 100% slav (roughly half-Polish, half-Ukranian). I'm a Polish dual-citizen. As such, I feel very strongly about one subject: The ability of us, Europeans, to control our own countries and our own borders. I think it's disgusting how the elite is financing mass immigration and European cities are becoming full of, essentially, foreigners. That's why I'll always call myself a right-winger.

As for sexuality and stuff, I think it's none of anyone's business what I do in my room, but at the same time it's very fair for people to tell me to not be explicitly lewd in public. It's just a social agreement that works imo.

But do tell me, do you hate me? Do I disgust you? Do you want me in a concentration camp? Because leftists don't stop telling me about it.

I was worried Abby and her friends were assholes, but turns out Abby was pretty cool! Thank God she found a kid from a marginalized community to help in the exact days Ellie arrived, or else gamers would get the wrong idea about her!

Honestly, how pathetic is that? Reddit admins are scum. Whoever agrees with this can't complain about people going to other websites and becoming "radicalized".

Não vejo qualquer contradição entre essas coisas. A grande maioria das pessoas de direita nem se importa tanto assim com homossexualidade, muito menos querem criminalizá-la. A maioria só tem problemas com paradas gays onde se mostram fetiches em público, ativismo para crianças, e coisas assim. E eu concordo plenamente que isso tem que acabar mesmo.

Quase nenhuma pauta moderna de partidos de direita me afetaria na questão de sexualidade. Mesmo os partidos que são considerados de "extrema-direita" no mundo ocidental não fariam nada, o "Alternativa para a Alemanha" por exemplo é liderado por uma mulher lésbica.

I just watched this trailer, I'm pretty sure it's from 2004. A mainstream racing game made by EA going hard on sex appeal to sell more copies. I guess hot girls always have been adjacent to car culture, but modern EA would never do something even remotely close to this. Growing up I don't remember seeing a similar trailer of a mainstream game.

If it came out today, not only the usual suspects would cry about "sexualization", but they would call the fans of the game "coomers". Because how dare a racing game use hot actresses, that's not directly related to cars.

It's not only the sexuality though. There's lots of edginess, violence, dark humor, whatever the hell Sony was doing... it's like game companies were screaming, "hey young male audience, we want your attention".

It seems to me like game culture was a lot of fun back on the day. I kinda wish I grew up during that time. Now gaming is controlled by neo-puritan weirdos who censor everything that goes against their dogma. It sucks.

It's disgusting and evil male genital mutilation. Why is this still allowed??? Wtf.

Edit: Sure, there could be small exceptions for particularly severe cases where you could argue it's medically necessary. Should've clarified that. Still, it should be used as a last resource.

This for 2 main reasons:

1. The brain is still not yet completely mature until the age of 24. So it's important to see if the person really wants it or not.

2. Cross-sex hormones and certain surgeries cause sterilization. You can't decide that if you don't want to have children when you're that young.

24 is on the safer side, 21 if you want to push it. No way under 21.

Both of them were destroying teams, but they hit a wall against the Celtics, massive performance drop both years. It just shows how nasty their pseudo-zone defense was, it was super difficult for perimeter players, and there was not enough spacing to counter it like there is today.

Por exemplo, eu acho muito difícil o materialismo explicar o problema difícil da consciência. O fato de que matéria pura vire uma sensação de imaterial e subjetiva é algo muito estranho, quase como se fosse mágica. É claro que conforme a ciência avança, mais se sabe a correlação entre uma parte do cérebro e alguma sensação nossa, mas isso não explica a parte fundamental do problema.

Outro exemplo é o fato de que, para o materialismo, cada cérebro faça somente uma "simulação" dentro de nossas cabeças sem que as sensações dessa simulação existam no mundo exterior. O verde não existe de fato no mundo materialista, o verde é somente a tradução do cérebro para uma luz refletindo em uma determinada frequência. Tudo isso não nos é muito intuitivo pq nós temos uma convicção de que todas as cores, cheiros, sensações e etc existam como propriedade do mundo, e não sejam apenas interpretações subjetivas do nosso cérebro.

Enfim, me parece que a grande maioria das pessoas não-religiosas tomam o materialismo como padrão, mas eu não vejo o porquê de ele ser tomado como se fosse algum tipo de verdade óbvia.

So we, paying consumers, could've made an informed decision about whether we want to support the game or not. I feel like he waited until the game profited before coming out, which is a pretty cowardly decision on their part.

Team Cherry should take accountability for this.
