Whats something similar to the wolverine wellington that won't fall apart inside?

I really like the way wolverines fit/feel however these specific boots have a design flaw where the heel inside the boot just disintegrates and it's extremely uncomfortable, just found out thats how these specific wolverine boots are for some reason. is there a decent boot in the same price range thats also welted that doesn't have this problem? Really like the convenience of slip ons with the traction these provide

Just in case y'all were curious what a cat delete, muffler delete, and cherry bomb sounds like on the 2.3 (previous owner did it and its on the list of things to fix)

Is there any putty or something I could use to fix this?

Ive had these boots for over a year and the leather is in great shape but the heel is wore out and makes it so my foot kinda rolls, they're not welted so idk if there's much point in putting a new sole on but maybe I'm wrong? They're timberland pros

2004 mercury grand marquis LS ultimate 4.6l v8. Novice mechanic lower control arm replacement?

Hi all, I have a 2004 mercury grand marquis and the lower ball joints are shot and the control arms look crappy so I'm just replacing both lowers (already had the uppers replaced). Is this something I can do as a novice mechanic with just a socket set, torque wrench, jack and jack stand if i use a YouTube tutorial? I do basic stuff like oil changes spark plugs injectors coil packs etc... pretty regularly but I've never tried a job this big before
