I have. 28x28 2 car with 12’ ceilings. each side has 3 light receptacles spread evenly with standard lights atm. most are burnt out (new house)

what are good options for lighting? plan to use it for working on cars and some woodworking so bright is good but do I really need to install some type of bar light or is there any E26 options that are good?

recently bought house. yard needs work. lots of moss and dead patches. no idea what previous owner has or hasn’t done.

3 weeks ish for turn around on soil test, which means I probablt wouldn’t get results back in time before overseeding I think?

what’s best course of action here. Moss out, overseed fix soil based on results after?

currently use Nalgene and a tall Yeti (not the short handle kind) and want to replace these with plastic free options.

is there a lid for yeti to replace the plastic?

Lot of posts regarding this but really hard to find ones not talking bout the reusable ones so sorry for duplicate.

Trying to replace a door knob with the typical latch thing (with the curve on one side inside door) with a deadbolt. this door is to a closet but want a little extra security for it.

Do they sell this? I can’t find anything that is essentially a deadbolt with a handle. Thanks

EDIT: Don’t care if handle turns at all. Just easier to open with something to pull

Do own a home. Issue is the only place to put the Winchester is in front of a walk in closet window, or tearing down some of the wood shelving in there. (even if I were to go for the smaller Winchester) Or out in the open but the other half is not a fan.

The agile I feel I could put wherever, like upstairs.

Which would you go for? Agile looks cool, understand it’s not as “secure“ as a safe but neither really is the cheaper safes such as the Winchester. My biggest gripe is the price. if it was same as the Winchester it would be a no brainer I think. Read a lot of reviews about electronic issues on the Win.

just bought a house.

Basement is half finished. 1750 sqft total decided by a wall with a door essentially directly down the middle.

No HVAC in basement either side. Last owners had a dehumidifier running continuously into sump pump. It’s old and is ready 20-30 humidity with another one beside it reading 45 (as are 2 accurite things from Amazon). so assume it’s incorrect. No sump pump on finished side.

Wondering if we should get a new dehumidifier and set it to 40-45 so it’s not running 24/7 (electricity expensive) but not sure if it would get the opposite side of room since there’s no air flow?

Also the finished side not sure what’s best here manual dumping? Drill a hole in wall and run a hose to sump pump? not sure how long a hose could be. Minisplit to add some HVAC? heard it dehumidifies? Assume just tunning one at sump pump isn’t good enough (AC broke 3 days in so minisplits may be getting added. PS thanks last owner)

2017 CRV, when trying to use the passenger side window button it almost always just does auto down/up and it’s near impossible to just roll the window down to a specific spot. it’s fine if using the drivers side button.

just moved, looking to get LTC. Village Sports and Rays are the 2 I found and offer the “NRA Home Satefty course” - but this has an asterisk about F.I.D in the approved list.

is this course good to get LTC? Why does it have the asterisk and others don’t?

The approved list is out of date as of April 26, is there a new list? or am I gonna be potentially rejected because the state is slacking?

Mother in law said we should never use 2 ply in septic and to stick with 1 ply Scotts. I typically use standard 2 ply Cottonelle.

Do we need/should we move to 1 ply Scott’s?

Just bought a house with a hot tub, just emptied and refilled. not sure if schedules stay between power cycles?

Either way this is a Hydropool Self cleaning hot tub, what is a good filtration duration and frequency to use? When I looked it says 6 duration (hours I think) and 4 frequency, so seems like all day err day? is this too much?

Are they ready to use or do I need to double check the gap?
