This handsome boy needs a miracle!

It’s the last call for 7-year-old Sterling who is now under kill command.

He came in a wounded stray just before Thanksgiving and was brought in by finder.

He spent time in ACC foster care and was loving, snuggly, gentle, a giant lap dog, good leash-walker, food-motivated; anxious when alone.

He earned the best possible behavior rating!
He has anemia & an ear infection… 🥹

A euthanasia command has been given 1-year-old Barbara who’s located at NYCACC (Manhattan). She needs a miracle!

She came into the shelter so scared that she peed herself, but she’s since warmed up to staff. She was surrendered mid-April because she didn't get along with a resident cat. She’s crate-trained, knows cues, is good on a leash, and is gentle, shy, cuddly, young & healthy.

She earned the 2nd best behavior rating, friendly w/ strangers, kids & familiar dogs.

Barbara loves toys & car rides!

This little gentleman, Yuro, needs a hero!

He has been at NYCACC 2 times in 1 month. He was surrendered in February due to housing issues, and this last time he was left abandoned and tied to a pole. He was brought in by police mid-March and is now on the euthanasia list.

Despite it all, Yuro remains wiggly, fun, silly, happy, playful, adoptable, neutered & healthy!

He earned the 2nd best behavior rating at the shelter and loves his treats too.

I know out-of-state foster is available with NYCACC but I’m not sure if out-of-state adoption is available, you’ll have to get in contact with the shelter.

Gelato (3 y/o) is looking for a miracle! He was surrendered in April by his owner for a little nip (no skin was broken). He’s crate-trained, tolerant with strangers and dogs, and loves baths.

He has BOAS and now kennel cough… 🥹

I realize he has a complicated case (as was my rescue dog) but a patient and disciplined owner could be life-changing for the little guy.

I’m not sure if out-of-state adoption is available, but out-of-state foster is!
