Has anyone here as an outsider ever pitched or submitted a script to YRF? What was your experience?
I recently submitted a synopsis to YRF Studios for a high-concept action project tailored around their established IP.
Being an outsider with no direct industry contacts or agency representation, I'm realistic about how unsolicited submissions are handled by major production houses. I'm mainly trying to understand how their internal development pipeline works:
- Has anyone here ever submitted a script, logline, or synopsis through YRF's official channels or email?
- Do their creative development or script reader teams actually review unsolicited submissions, or does it strictly require an established agent / insider reference?
- What is the realistic turnaround time if they do respond, or does no response simply mean a pass?
- For those who managed to get their pitch read by a major Bollywood studio, what route or approach worked best for you?
Would really appreciate genuine insights or experiences from anyone who has navigated this process.
Thanks!
