I'd love to get a big book collection of the Charlton Comics Fightin' titles, but it doesn't seem like there are any. Is my Google-Fu weak, or is this something that doesn't exist?
I see so many posts with people ruining their paintwork and clearcoat with enamel washes, so I'm wondering why acrylic washes aren't used more often? Is it a pigment granulation or a flow thing?
I've only washed miniatures for wargaming, and my acrylic washes with just a touch of dish soap or glycerin have worked great. I'm about to start aircraft modeling in 1/72 scale, and wondering if enamel washes will be necessary for proper flow into the fine details of such models?
This is probably mine:
Steyr NATO AUG A3 M1 14.5" w/Steiner T33, Surefire RC3, Magpul 40 round mag.
CZ P-10 C w/Holosun SCS, Griffin Armament barrel and Rugged Obsidian 9 in short config.
