Another child killed in Bara.when will justice In Nepal actually mean something

There are so many rapes happening in Nepal. Even 3-year-olds, 5-year-olds.

I just heard about a case in Jitpur Simara, Bara. A little girl was killed.

Everyone says "hang them" but honestly that feels too light to me.

I’m so angry and heartbroken. What do you all think real justice should look like for people who hurt kids like this?

Someone stole my slippers from a temple...!!!

My slippers got stolen from the temple today 😭

I went for the night aarati. Left my slippers where I always do, went inside, prayed, came out... and they were gone.

Searched for like 30 minutes thinking maybe I forgot where I put them. Nope. Nothing.

Ended up walking home barefoot.

Is this just part of the temple experience in Kathmandu now? This is the 2nd time it’s happened to me lol.

RIP to my slippers.

Being the eldest daughter feels impossible right now. ⭐

I'm in a really difficult situation, and I don't know what to do.

I have a younger brother and a younger sister. We used to live with our grandparents because our parents work in India to support our family financially.

A couple of years ago, my younger brother came to Kathmandu for his studies. Since he was the youngest and new to the city, my father decided to send me to Kathmandu as well so he wouldn't have to live alone. Even though I didn't really want to leave home, I came here for him. We've now been living together for the past two years. My brother is currently preparing for IELTS, while I'm attending college and preparing for banking exams.

The problem is my younger sister.

Recently, my father went back home for some work, and my brother also visited home. During that time, they both noticed that my sister had changed completely.

She barely eats anymore because she says she never feels hungry. She's losing weight, doesn't feel like talking to anyone, and whenever someone asks her what's wrong, she says, "I feel tense," but she can't explain why. If anyone tries to comfort or advise her, she becomes upset instead. She cries over even the smallest things.

She takes people's words very deeply. If someone tells her she's a loser or that she's not good at studying, she carries those words in her heart. She starts crying for no clear reason, sometimes anywhere and at any time.

She tells me everything, so I don't think this is because of a relationship or heartbreak. I truly believe she's going through something that even she doesn't know how to describe.

I've asked her many times why she feels this way, but she always gives the same answer: "I just feel tense." When I ask what she's worried about, she says she doesn't know. It's heartbreaking because even she can't explain what she's feeling.

Our grandparents are getting older, and like many elderly people, they can be strict and complain a lot. My sister seems to take everything they say very personally, and I think she's carrying a burden that's becoming too heavy for her.

Hearing all of this makes me feel incredibly guilty.

As the eldest daughter, I chose to come to Kathmandu for my younger brother because he needed someone here. But now I feel like I should go back home and be with my sister, spend time with her, and help her heal.

At the same time, I don't want to leave my brother alone. He's still preparing for IELTS and needs support too. If I return home, I'll have to transfer my college, but leaving him behind doesn't feel right either.

My sister could come to Kathmandu, but then our elderly grandparents would be left alone, and they also need someone to help them.

No matter what I choose, it feels like someone will be left behind.

Sometimes I wonder if this is what being the eldest daughter meansconstantly sacrificing your own wishes for everyone else.

On top of all this, my exams are approaching. I'm already struggling to focus because of the stress. I've also been dealing with low blood pressure, iron deficiency, dehydration, and my own mental and physical health challenges.

I feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and completely torn between my responsibilities. I don't know which decision is the right one anymore.

I also worry that if I return home, I might begin struggling the same way my sister is. My grandfather drinks alcohol, and I find it emotionally very difficult to cope with that environment. Sometimes, no matter how much work you do, you still don't receive appreciation. It feels like you're expected to keep giving without ever being seen.

I love my family deeply, but right now I feel like I'm carrying everyone's pain while trying to hide my own.

I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

I choose to admire it from afar...!!

I once loved a flower so much

that instead of picking it, I left it

alone

so it could bloom without my hands,

so its beauty would not learn

the weight of being owned.

I chose to admire it from afar,

to let the wind be the one

that touched it gently,

to let the sun be the one

that held it close.

Because love, I realized,

is not always about keeping

sometimes it is about letting something

be beautiful… without you.

The peace I found at Pashupatinath, Kathmandu is hard to describe...!!

Some places heal you without saying a word.

Pashupatinath is one of them. The air feels older, the silence feels fuller, and the peace I found here is something I didn’t know I needed. The ghats, the sadhus, the evening aarti... it all pulls you inward.

The peace I found here is incredible, and I think a part of me will always be here.

Pashupatinath doesn’t rush you. It lets you sit, breathe, and remember. In the smoke, the mantras, the river , there’s a peace here that stays with you long after you leave.

Pashupatinath reminds you that some places don’t need explaining. You just feel them. Calm, heavy, ancient, and alive all at once...!!

Sometimes Loving Someone Means Walking Away Quietly...!!!

If I have feelings for someone, that's something I have to deal with not them. My feelings are my responsibility, so I don't want to make them carry a weight they never asked for. Yes, I know how I feel, but I also know that not every feeling is meant to become a relationship. Sometimes, the kindest thing I can do is quietly take a step back, keep my distance, and move on.

I know you deserve to know the truth, and I'm sorry for keeping it to myself. It's not because I don't trust you,I'm just not ready. The truth is, I'm still trying to understand my own heart. Part of me wants someone to stay, while another part of me wants to be left alone. I don't even know how to explain it... maybe it's just a girl thing, or maybe it's simply the way my heart works.

Keeping my feeling to myself ....!!

Am I overreacting, or is this relationship toxic?

One of my friends has been in a relationship since Class 11. She's now in her first year of her bachelor's degree, and they're still together.

She once shared a lot about their relationship with me, and honestly, it doesn't seem healthy.

The guy comes to her room almost every 2–3 days a week just to spend time with her. Her family knows about him, but his family has no idea she exists. Whenever she asks about his family or tries to contact his mother, he gets angry and says, *"I told you not to call my mom. It'll get me into trouble."*

My friend has a job and earns her own money, but he constantly asks her to send him whatever money she has in her account. She told me she doesn't even argue anymore because she's tired of fighting, so she just transfers him all the money he asks for.

He's also very controlling. Our room is near a temple, and sometimes we'd go there together. He would call her and start scolding her, asking, *"Why did you go out? Who are you with? Why didn't you tell me? These days you're always going somewhere."*

The strange part is that, despite being together for years, he has never taken her out anywhere. He has a bike, but they barely have any memories of going on dates, exploring places, or simply enjoying time together.

She also told me that in the beginning of the relationship, whenever she talked about breaking up, he would grab a knife and threaten to harm himself if she left him.

After hearing all of this, I honestly don't think this is what a healthy relationship looks like. To me, he doesn't seem like someone who's ready to be a good future husband.

Love should never feel like being trapped in a cage. Love isn't about controlling someone—it's about trust, respect, and freedom.

Personally, I don't believe partners should constantly ask each other for money unless it's a genuine emergency or both people are comfortable with it. Taking someone's hard-earned money all the time just feels unfair to me.

What do you guys think? Should she leave this relationship, or should she continue trying to make it work? From everything I've heard, his behavior seems controlling, manipulative, and emotionally unhealthy.

Just introvert things...!!🤎

Once your heart is truly hurt, you never become the same person again. You don't know how to fake your emotions, so even if you try to act normal, your behavior gives it away. You're no longer the person you used to be before you got hurt.

Now, everything feels forced. You force yourself to react. You force yourself to talk. Sometimes, you even feel like you're forcing yourself to keep living. It doesn't feel like living anymore,it feels like surviving.

Slowly, you start becoming the kind of person you never wanted to be. You talk less. You enjoy being alone. Your own company becomes enough. You stop trying to fit into everyone's expectations, and you stop pretending just to make others comfortable.

It's not that you hate people. You don't. You just don't enjoy being around them the way you once did.

The strange thing is, after being hurt, you start understanding people much faster. Sometimes, one conversation is enough. You can sense their intentions, notice the little things, and see who they really are beyond the image they present. So instead of giving endless chances, you quietly distance yourself because you've already realized they're not who they seemed to be.

Maybe this is what happens when an introvert gets hurt too deeply. They don't become louder. They simply become quieter, more observant, and much harder to reach.

Love is not supposed to be endless endurance...!!

Sorry if I distance myself, but I already told you ten times what hurts me and you still keep doing the same thing.

I’m not walking away out of pride or childishness, I’m walking away out of exhaustion.

Because there comes a point where talking no longer works, where explaining becomes useless, and where you realize the other person does not change simply because they do not want to.

It’s not that I don’t care anymore. I’m just tired of repeating the same thing over and over again, hoping that one day you would finally choose to understand.

But no one can live constantly repeating themselves.

When something hurts you and you communicate it, you are not doing it to fight, you are doing it because you hope things can improve. But when all you receive in return is indifference, patience eventually runs out.

Because what hurts is not the mistakes themselves. What hurts is when someone knows something is hurting you and still continues doing it.

When they promise change that only lasts a few days before going back to the same behavior, as if your boundaries were a joke.

And that’s when I understood that I cannot keep trying to fix something that only I am willing to repair.

When you reach that point, love alone is no longer enough.

Because love is not about enduring endless pain, it is about building something together.

So forgive me if I walk away, but do not ask me to stay when I have nothing left to say. Do not ask me to keep tolerating what I already warned you about. And do not ask me for more patience when you have already exhausted every chance I gave you.

Why Do We Remember People We Barely Knew?

Does this happen to anyone else?

You talk to someone for only two days. You don't know their face, their real name, where they live—nothing. Yet, eight months later, you still find their voice in someone else's. You still feel their presence even though they're gone.

Sometimes, when someone speaks in a similar way, your mind instantly goes back to them. A song they used to sing suddenly brings back all those memories.

Maybe this is how our minds react when a conversation doesn't end the way it should. Maybe this is how our hearts respond to unfinished things. It's strange how someone you barely knew can leave such a lasting impression.
