My story how i become good at guitar, self taught

Hi everyone

1. Queen = Inspired me to pick up the guitar / learn my first solo

I watched the Bohemian Rhapsody movie and fell in love with all the guitar solos. That was the exact moment I got inspired to start playing guitar.

2. Led Zeppelin = Taught me how to play chords

Stairway to Heaven was the song that really helped me master barre chords.

— Metal —

3. Metallica = Taught me fast riffs, solos, and downpicking

My father loved Metallica, which introduced me to the metal genre. After 3 years, I managed to learn almost all of their songs. Sadly, my father passed away before I had the chance to show him how much I had improved.

4. Polyphia = Taught me technical playing

After learning a few of their songs, my fingers felt way more agile and fluid, especially when transitioning between complex chords.

— Deathcore —

5. Lorna Shore = Taught me extremely fast riffs and alternate picking

This band made me fall in love with deathcore. Adam De Micco is currently my favorite guitarist. His riffs are insanely hard to play and take a lot of time to master, but learning them gave me a huge boost in confidence with my skills. (Seriously, go listen to his riffs—they are some of the best metal riffs I've ever heard).

6. Slaughter to Prevail (Current) = Teaching me rhythm

After 6 years of playing, I still find their riffs super cool. However, the hardest part for me is the rhythm. I never really practiced rhythm exercises before, but after grinding their songs for a couple of months, I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

(Sorry if my writing is bad)

Competitive mindset in gaming can make you burn out faster?

(sorry for my bad english)

I like playing video game and i only have 1 video game on phone so i can focus on it

Every game i played i have a goal "i want to be skilled player" no matter shooting game, MOBA or more. And im understand to obtain that goal i have to get a lot of hour play time and experience. I practice a lot and played a game more than 6 - 8 hour a day to gain experience.

But sadly just after 1 month i start lost motivation to play that game for no reason, even i push my self to play it i always start thinking "im lazy" something like that. And then i delete that game and i never obtain that goal in my whole life in gaming.

What should i do to avoid lost motivation? How do you guys that have competitive mindset can play 1 game for a years consistently?
