Starting to feel like a burden

Anyone else feel this way? Not really good at anything. I work bullshit jobs and feel like I have no skill or talent. I try talking to people and they just laugh in my face.

Loud engine startup

Even louder when the AC and heat are on. It’s a 2014 Lexus es 350 with 214,000 miles. No lights are on.

Uncertain about our future

So I’m 28 dating a 45 year old, I do want a one child of my own, but she’s on the fence about it. Issue is I really do love her a lot and would love to start a family with her. I do have two jobs, but I don’t have a career.

What’s up with the Jaylen brown memes?

Am I the only one who thinks he sounds like a regular guy lecturing? I understood every word he was saying. People on twitter act like he was speaking a poem or in some type of philosophy.

PAs/managers. What are you looking at on your screen when looking at stowers metrics?

So I have no idea how I’m doing as a stower, because nobody tells me anything. I don’t even know what the rate is at my warehouse. I use to get a lot of coaching when I first started, but now they haven’t said anything to me in months.

“Free my guy” bro, he just killed three people 🫤

Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the crazy shit that happens in the hood? Maybe there’s more to the story idk, but some dude got locked up for shooting up a party and he was selling fentanyl that led to overdoses. Idk him personally, but dude sounds like a menace on society. Am I trippin if I think he deserves to be locked up?

How not to take someone lying as a form of disrespect

I know everybody lies, but you ever met someone who lies for no fucking reason or is just doing it to be sneaky. My ex gf lies her ass off and sometimes it feels like for no reason. It drives me crazy, because I have no issue handling the truth even if it’s negative. I always told her that and yet she still keeps lying to my face. Kind of unrelated, but I’ll never understand how you can sleep and share feelings with someone, just for them o lie to your face like your a nobody.

How big of a difference is mls vs mlt in terms of job hunting?

So there’s a community college and university both pretty close to me. The community college offers mlt program which is a lot quicker then the mls program. Should I tough it out and get the mls, but It takes double the time and money? Or should I get the mlt?

How did you deal with someone you love not wanting you?

So I loved this women, and I messed up the relationship because I was as selfish and later became depressed due to me getting fired from my job. I’ve tried to reconnect with her, but she just ignores my text. It hurts a lot, but I know as time passes I’ll hurt less and less. I love her a lot, and I find myself not even being attracted to dating other people even though that’s probably what I should be doing. It’s just a shitty feeling because it consumes so much headspace.

I’ve never seen anyone get written up for rate at my facility

I’ve seen some slow stowers and they’ll be well below the minimum rate and all the PAs do is just give them a coaching. I’ve seen the same group of people get coaching multiple times. I personally choose to hit rate so nobody bothers me.

Which role makes time fly by?

I do water spider and stow. Stowing is alright, but can get boring after a few hours. Water spider is very physical at the facility I’m at, and by the time my shift is over, it can feel like a full blown workout.

What are most people in their late 20s doing?

I’m 28 years old and feel lost more than ever. Currently just got a full time job and part time job and I’m just trying to pay off some debt. Plan on taking one class at a community college. My love life is horrible. I’ve been lonely for a few years now and it seems so challenging to find me my age in the same position I am. People are getting married and having kids and starting their careers and I’m just sitting here feeling lost.

I can’t stop stalking her social media and it’s killing me

It looks like she found a new partner and I’m honestly crushed and can’t even focus. I’m starting a new job today and I just can’t stop thinking about her.

Why does only healthcare have per diem positions?

I feel like both the company and employees would benefit from having per diem positions available. People call out or don’t show up to jobs all the time, so I don’t see the issue.

What do you think about around 3-4 am?

I don’t mind the night shift, but my thoughts get very dark around those times.”What am I doing with my life?” “Why’d she leave me?” Those types of thoughts. It’s weird because it usually happens around those times.

What’s the psychology of that coworker who acts like your boss?

So there’s this one coworker who has the same exact job title I have, and walks around and tells people what to do like he’s the boss. He’s a nice guy, so it feels awkward to just shrug him off. He’s kind of a kiss ass, and the weirdest part is, the bosses don’t even give him orders to do all this stuff. He just walks around and does it. It seems like every job I had, there’s always that one person and it just doesn’t feel right to me.
