Do I need to watch Young Justice as context for Justice League vs. the Fatal Five?

Do I need to watch Young Justice as context for Justice League vs. the Fatal Five?

I've been getting into the DCAU this past year and loving it. I love the strong writing (for the most part) and the strong continuity these series have. Aside from Static Shock, I've watched all of the Timm-Diniverse that's listed on the Wikipedia page

I'm still a bit puzzled by Justice League vs. the Fatal Five though. I get that it has the original voice actors and the music cues from Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, but they have a new Green Lantern and Miss Martian (who I know is in Young Justice)

I haven't watched the series yet, but do I need to watch Young Justice to get up to pace with the new Lantern Jessica Cruz and Miss Martian?

And is there any word if Young Justice will get a complete series release like with Batman: The Animated Series?

Is there any word of an upcoming release of Varan The Unbelievable?

I'm looking to add this one to my collection but I was surprised to find that the Tokyo Shock (Media Blasters) DVD release doesn't come with the US theatrical version, just a recreation of the unreleased TV version (which is awesome)

is there anything in the rumor mill that Varan The Unbelievable will see a new Blu-ray release with the three versions

Have you ever bought a title because a review on YouTube?

Cabin Boy on Blu-ray was quite the online pull for me

and yeah, Blue Underground has been at this for a long time, and I've been collecting for a long time too. Found Q: The Winged Serpent in the wild in a specialty video store that I don't think is around anymore

Blonde girl screams her head off the entire time in this fun jungle romp, which includes villainous gods, exciting fights, life or death situations, shockingly graphic scenes, and exotic, frightening creatures.

There's even a scene where people plummet to their death from a bridge spanning a huge canyon!

Hint:

  • this movie once had lost media (and still does have lost media). We only have the "complete" version because it was preserved in Europe (figures)

Just finished The Dark Knight Returns animated film and honestly I was a bit disappointed they changed David Endochrine from Letterman to Conan

I mean, I get it. Letterman had just his scandal and I imagine he wasn't feeling up to it but Letterman was such an integral part of the 1980s wild and controversial late night talk show moments (Jerry Lawler smacking Andy Kaufman out of his chair comes immediately to mind) that it made sense to have him be the host in The Dark Knight Returns comic (especially for Joker's return), and I wish they had just found a good impressionist. Would've also added to Frank Miller's original satire to hear Letterman laughing manically to death, as opposed to Conan, who voiced The Riddler in the LEGO Batman video games

Edit: they shoulda got Norm Macdonald or Joe Piscopo and kept the Letterman likeness lol

Which songs were in mono and which songs where in stereo on the stereo version of the album A Quick One?

Which songs were in mono and which songs where in stereo on the stereo version of the album A Quick One?

There's not really any information in the Wikipedia page and Discogs is giving me conflicting information. Here's what they said on the main page,

"Stereo and "false stereo" mixes appear in bewildering and inconsistent combinations among the initial stereo releases of these various albums. 'So Sad About Us' was only true stereo in the North American releases. 'Whiskey Man' and 'Don't Look Away' were only in true stereo on European album releases."

Which songs also remained in "fake stereo" on subsequent stereo releases too?

I've been loving the recent Godzilla crossover comics lately. Godzilla vs Marvel, Godzilla vs Power Rangers, and of course Godzilla vs Justice League

And I've been wrapping my head around which superhero could properly match up with Godzilla. Obviously, Superman could but in the comics Godzilla killed him - which I don't buy because Godzilla basically blasted the Man of Steel with the Sun. However, considering who has killed Superman, that's an easy fight for Godzilla (literally all Godzilla has to do to is drown Superman at the bottom of the ocean where no light enters)

Also I'm not a fan of the American Monsterverse saying Godzilla has to go after Earth's strongest and thus narrow in on Superman. There's like 5 other guys who can do the same thing, including Shazam who was a prominent character in the first volume

But what if (and hear me out) Godzilla goes after Raven and Beast Boy?

Not to jump on the Solidjj parade but Raven is the daughter of interdimensional space Satan and can literally do anything. Beast Boy can transform into any living thing, including Godzilla (which he did). Godzilla is indestructible therefore so would be Beast Boy in Godzilla form

Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg are probably all gonna die (and Cyborg is gonna build a giant mech and Godzilla destroys those every other Tuesday), but I think Raven and Beast Boy have a shot at defeating or at least banishing Godzilla to another dimension

(Also, why didn't Superman send Godzilla into the Phantom Zone?)
