EDIT: for those curious, my ps5 has been offline since the blackout but I popped this in, 48 gigs off the disc and I’m playing with no online update needed!
Is it difficult to reprogram the boards? Have the one I’m working on out of the tray and a good to go disc drive next to it.
Is this something that’ll be more complex than a simple solder job?

After having fomo with other games these past few months I decided to not let my capitalist urges get the best of me and waited for this.
Told myself to wait a week or 2 before pulling trig. No preorders, no sitting on a site for a restock, just a copy in the wild.
Here we are, day one edition in hand and practiced my patience!
With so many splatterpunk and extreme horror books pushed out with little to no editing and very simple prose, it can be hard to find a GOOD book.
Just finished the riverman and black farm series and I enjoyed those! I however, also enjoy the slop of Aron Beauregard and others where it’s stupid but fun.
Is Cows worth that read though? I have heard mixed things like it is a STAPLE in the genre and others saying it’s a waste of time.

Finally got a copy of a game I wanted and ordered online this morning. The only option it had was SDD based on the address I used. Seeing all the horror stories about items getting scammed or taken I want to be proactive.
Is there a way to tell which store it is coming from/how I can ensure it’s packaged?

Playing the ps5 sinful version and just did a dungeon run and came back to my base.
Went to go craft a suit but the building is gone.
I can rebuild it but this would be the second time, so I’m curious if it’s a grid glitch or if I’m not meeting requirements.

No pics as im currently working on it but realized I am missing HALF of the internal screws, including the long ones for the fan.
Anyone know the sizes/styles of screws that can be replaced? I heard of Phillips head but knowing my luck, I’d pierce something lol

This console is giving me headache after headache lol
Bugs, dust and now pieces falling out.
Before I pull the grey hairs out of my head, this can for sure be fixed yeah? Simple micro soldering job or should I get a heat gun for this piece
Now I know how to repair a LIGHT rip from the motherboard but jeez this one takes the cake. Is this fixable? Even if I grind down to the copper on the board, there is so much already torn off would it even work?
EDIT: Will I also have to run enamel wire under the connector like one would have to with a broken fan connector?

Got this ps5 disc version for free off Facebook as the owner said they tried to fix it not reading discs then it just “wouldn’t turn on”.
Come to find out, they pulled some of the brackets off the mobo and shoved the drive back in.
Is this damage fixable/ is it worth my time and effort?
I’m really glad I got to crack the special edition of this and get the plat.
I only used a guide for the cleanup in regard to clues and some collectibles. The new patch allows for replaying any chapter that you may have missed stuff on so that was great!
Also, you get a trophy for punching a Nazi in the face, 5/5 no notes
Cannot wait for the dlc!
