I have tried to make macarons with twice before, once during covid and another a couple years back. Both the times i did not have proper equipment and ingredients. We dont get almond flour easily here so i had to sub in regular flour (i followed a recipe not my own sub), i didn’t have a silicone sheet so i used parchment paper. Im going to try again now, but before that i’ll be buying the silicon sheet, a new hand mixer and sourcing almond flour. I wanted to male coffee macarons with a whipped chocolate ganache frosting but my ganache recipe doesn’t use whipping cream (i dont buy it because they come in huge packs and go to waste) so i dont think it’ll hold its shape. Another idea i had was chocolate macarons with a whipped caramel frosting, like the cake that’s going viral. I have found a macaron recipe but not a whipped caramel frosting one. I dont have cream so what can i substitute for that in the frosting? Also are there any other flavor combinations that i can try? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Got ripped to shreds when i said shaving should be the personal choice of women. Women claimed that im patriarchal for shaving and conforming to societal norms. Why can’t we let women do what they want? Why police each and every choice to fit the narrow minded feminist’ criteria? Isn’t the right to choose a basic part of feminism? Or is the right to choose valid only when women choose what you want them to choose?
Came across a content creator who doesn’t believe in shaving or make up. Some women in her comments in no mean way said they just prefer shaving, not for anyone else, but for themselves. The creator insulted them, calling them patriarchal and anti feminist for CHOOSING what to do with their own bodies. I posted it in reddit and had the same response that women shouldn’t shave because it’s patriarchal. Since when is women choosing what to do with their bodies patriarchal? You cannot force someone to shave, same way you cannot force someone to not shave. Some “feminists” will support you only when you choose something they approve of, not something that’s your choice. This isn’t feminism, women have fought all over the world just for the right to choose and yall are out here negating the struggle
I like her dedication and hustle towards her goal but she just seems kind of off. Her replies to comments, showing her hair down there on camera, shaming people for choosing to shave everything just gives mean girl. People commented saying the dress was flowier than expected and it would have fit before too and her replies are so holier than thou. She made a video on how she chooses not to get rid of her body hair. Everyone was very supportive in the comments, some people said they just preferred shaving and she went to town on them, calling them patriarchal and what not. Idk why influencers think they can police others choices and themselves be exempted from criticism
I used to like his reviews, but man he’s soo pretentious. Whenever someone comments saying they prefer chain restaurants, this guy acts as if they’ve committed a crime. I’m sorry i just find her insufferable, her entire personality, the accent, the drawling voice, everything is a curated “indie” image. First of all, these kurtis cost about 700-800/- to get stitched and are fully customised to the customer, secondly, no fabric transfers colour merely through touching. I get it if it lost colour during a wash but unless it was dyed freshly before wearing, it shouldn’t transfer so easily. This whole brand just pisses me off because they’re making these subpar products with insane prices, like those bangles for 1000/-, and then acting as if it’s on the public for not buying into their “indie” scam

I recently acquired the powershot a2200. I want to achieve the classic digicam effect we see all over social media rn. I have changed the iso to 400, awb to daylight, exposure to -1/3. Also when i turn the flash on it doesn’t shoot for some reason. Any advice would be great!!

The only good thing he’s done is rallying the youth unwittingly but the entire “movement” was originally started for clout. Watching smallville for the first time, man Lana Lang is insufferable😭. Her personality is so bland, the only thing i like about her is the actress. Also in the episode with Kyle Tippet, she blames clark for not liking whitney who literally strung him up in a field?😭. Im sorry is Clark supposed to just forgive him? He is totally justified in being mad at whitney for the rest of his life Lana just because whitney’s your boyfriend doesn’t make him less of a bully. All the edits i saw of them made me think Lana’s supposed to be the one that got away but honestly im glad she gets away😭
