Heading to the beach or bay this weekend? Check this first. Awful feces pollution this week - King Tides, heavy rains, overburdened and leaking sewage infrastructure. Let's see the government try to blame dogs on this one.

Volunteers tested 19 sites across Miami-Dade on Thursday. 13 came back HIGH for fecal bacteria. Six more sites weren't sampled at all, so nobody knows what's in that water.

Miami Waterkeeper tested 15 spots around Biscayne Bay on Sept 28 and 30. 8 came back HIGH.

Been making these for a few cities since gas prices jumped, and Miami produced one of the more interesting shapes.

In late February, $20 bought about 242 miles of driving range using the assumptions in the map. Today it's about 165 miles.

That's 77 miles of range gone. The amount of gas that cost $20 then would cost about $29.43 today.

These aren't radius circles. I calculated the distances along the road network, which is why Florida's geography has such a big effect on the shape. You can especially see it heading north and down through the Keys.

Apparently the city plans to hold another vote for the downtown area at a later date. This is strictly for Miami Beach. The negotiations are still on-going as the city is trying to push above the original $4 Million Dollar price tag to make this work with Rockstar.
