Looking for a co-op RPG style of any kind with online?

Me and my partner own xbox series x and are trying to find any cooperative games with PvE, open world, survival, story modes, co-op questing campaigns things of that realm. If it has class systems even better but not strict. Currently we are playing dead island definitive edition and path of exile. Suggestions that we might have looked over?

▲ 0 r/Steam

Sorry in advance for a stupid question or if wrong sub, but how do I answer the question for myself, "why should I buy the steam machine?"

I live in less than desirable living situation but at least i do not pay rent and have minimal debt alongside my partner who has a great PC. We both own Xbox series X. I just feel so conflicted and have battled with this turmoil for months. The games I love or want to play with my partner or by myself have been either only on PC or PC and PS5. Oh, I am aware of that right now until next year maybe you can only be selected at random due to limited inventory and you have to have a purchase history of one item before April 27, i think. I am looking for helpful answers here that can help me in any way. Maybe I'm thinking about this all wrong.

Would Providing a list of games available on PC be helpful for the post?

Edit: maybe i should add this that my partner and I are in college and she lives at her desk, and my "desk" is my computer and console that is next to hers on the large dresser and its connected to the TV. I think this is unfortunately where the issue comes at. We could not play for example together, Guild Wars 2 (or 3 when it comes out for PS5 and PC), Sketchy's Art, enshrouded, no paid subscriptions of any kind

Riptide XP farm? Does it scale vs the first game?

Just finished the first one and now will play riptide and want to play as John maybe instead of getting Logan to level 70. Ways of farming XP and in the beginning in of the game? If anyone has canned food, I have been reading online that someone could drop those or you buy them apparently and give them endlessly to someone?

John morgan or logan?

I simply want to read your playstyle with them. I am deciding between starting with john and using duplication of the canned food for XP farm in the beginning of the game. I also notice apparently there's throwing knives which are great and even better if you can apply mods to one and it applies to a whole stack. Reading opinions may help me

edit: my logan is level 50 currently

Sam b skills ?

Level 45 and I’m trying to map out the rest. I am considering sticks and stones, last stand, custom maintenance, maintenance, bulletproof or backfire, and hardened.

I am uncertain about telling blows and powerful impact

Gameplay Questions about Dying light 2

Me and my partner have been enjoying dying light 1 but will consider buying it to play co-op campaign but we want to ask a few things for tips or suggestions.

Do you still have to use metal scraps with a certain number of times to repair a wepon or it will be lost forever?

Overall combat feel?

Can you still unlock every skill in agility and power just like in dying light 1?

Can you farm resources in any way?

anything else you can give as advice?

Are there legend levels and are they worth it to obtain?

We are simply having fun but i am typically the type of person that tends to farm a lot in games to get max level.

Farming XP methods?

I’m currently waiting for my partner to get out of the bathroom, let’s just say she’s out of commission at the moment lol. I was wondering of XP farming ways since I am level 41 Logan and am still on the island. I don’t want to progress without her. Is really the only way arena? If so, has anyone actually achieve level 60? I would imagine repairing weapons can become costly if I stay for like 20 waves or more.

Edit: current main quest is chapter 3: born to be wild

Sam B is the character i cannot like sadly or maybe its me?

LAck of ways managing stamina is a hinderance in the heat of battle but i do like the 60% stamina reduction with blunt weapons. But his fury is the most hilarious one that i love sending zombies to the damn sky. After constantly play a few missions with him and logan, i love logan overall. its not so hindering playing as him compared to sam B. I did not feel like the trade-off of a cool fury that you use occasionally use is bette than another character that has more pros than cons. am i missing something?

is throne and liberty okay for casual people?

i am on xbox series x and saw a few videos of gameplay and felt a little overwhelmed by the seemingly complexity of skill descriptions. It did intimidate me to think i may not have fun unless i follow a strict video guide i guess. I see that gauntlets are a weapon and you use another weapon at the same time and was thinking about orb. I have other games and am scared that it may feel like a second job after a certain point unfortunately.

Is Gangs of Sherwood really that bad?

Hopefully i am using the right flair but i wanted to know about this game. I was watching a 30-minute gameplay of it from a trusted youtuber i think named mythymoo. Now there are some bugs here and there but i am pretty casual now in gaming and did not notice any game breaking bugs that would detour me. It actually looks addicting and was wondering if anyone can give their opinion on this game as a structured co-op campaign? Me and my partner are always looking for co-op campaign games like atlas fallen, dead island, dying light, minecraft with add-ons to let you know some of our interests!

Which did you/do you play in riptide, sam b, john morgan or logan carter and why is it fun for you?

you can offer suggestions of skills to use if you want but i am curious. I am LOVING logan in dead island 1. Also are their still ways to duplicate items. infinite inventory glitch and lots of cash?

Having fun with me and my partner playing through dead island 1 and then moving to riptide. but i am scared to what the bad things i have read.

We are on xbox series X. I am logan (level 41) and she is xian mei (level 48). I do not have the alcohol healing skill yet but really want to. I want to know your opinions or tips on playing him since some people reported that alcohol is no longer equippable on your weapon wheel in riptide. What? so i will waste skill points once i get to the game with a nerfed character i love, die numerous times because i am trying to open my inventory in co-op and scroll to alcohol in order to use it? people have stated the aoe damage of economical throw was nerfed and telling throws.

What should i do? does this QOL negatively impact logan so much for you that you had to decide " i am switching characters" . maybe i should use john morgan? i have no clue about him. My second favorite character i like is sam b thats level 44. I just hate he has zero ways of properly managing stamina. I am aware that items, cash and objects do not carry over but only skills and levels but God man i do not feel excited about riptide if a core useful skill like alcohol healing is altered in a challenging way.

Any suggestions! I am scared of not having fun with these characters and thinking at a given point "man i wish they had this"

Xbox series X; me and my partner are wondering what add-ons can completely change the game?

If this helps here's what we are looking for i think:

- magical weapons/unique melee weapons

- unique attack animations

- something that can add campaign-oriented quests to make it feel like a D&D game i guess

- unique biomes?

- expanded tools/armor

- bombs/tnt expanded?

- expanded and unique enemies and bosses

- different cool ways of traveling?

- add ons that can give us access to RPG style classes?

I have been browsing the marketplace and have so astounded at how much is offered but would love advice on what anyone has experienced. Please give me any suggestions!

Got exhausted from doing the prologue exploit so maybe switch to bloodbath arena?

Sam B is level 43 and Logan is 41. For sam, i have difficulty trying to get a 4x multiplier in fury whereas logan is mitigated greatly via using a multitargeting auto-aim and can easilly get xp at a faster and easier way. Sam b, i am not sure how the smash hit is not proccing correctly because i am in chapter 1 and am trying to consistently aim at zombies heads with my fists or blunt weapons but i noticed it takes about 6 to 7 kills before i have fury again when i assumed the grim inspiration and smash hit should give me a 78% recharge rate? (18% from grim inspiration and 60% from smash hit). the last skills i want maxed are both of the weapon durability's so i can stack them together. Would i have a better time in arena and also when i progress with my partner who i will do the exploit for as well on her xian mei?

I just posted, but wanted to know what skills to consider for Sam B?

Specific skills for fury regen? Specific combat skills? Specific survivor skills? I don’t know which skills would make me enjoy and have an easier time killing because I sort of freak out on stamina management and durability and damage because I will be abusing medkits and miss timing the attacks. I know I may definitely grab the 30% durability and 30% additional money looted

My girlfriend is xian mei and I want to feel like a great support brawler that decimates zeds

Anyone actually here that tried to do glitches and got a little bored?

Xbox series X; I just did 2 hours worth of duplicating for the highest damage baseball bat modded I own at level 8 and I have to admit that it feels like a snail pace. Maybe I could consider waiting until the value price of weapons increase and duplicate those and then get cash rapidly. I also don’t know how to properly grind for XP other than spending time in “arena(A)” but I can’t make it pass wave 6 I think and I get overrun or I have to leave because my current highest weapon is struggling and I’m constantly dishing out too much money to repair them.

I really want to be level 40 to 50 I guess to get the skills I know I want in order to survive as “Sam B” but I know that may require some nuisances?

Tips, advice, anything is helpful. I am sort of playing the game once with my girlfriend and we are enjoying it a lot but we do LOVE the design of dying light games and have had a much easier time glitching exploits on there.

P.s.: I can drop my gamertag if anyone wants to join up ?

weapons/power combo suggestions for fun?

i am purchasing earth or electricity tommorow but want to know the most fun and good types of weapon to use. I am going to be might dps so i know that it wont matter, just solely care about fast attacks. I was thinking about hand blasters or one handed but dont know the weopon mastery for it at the moment since i am not at home. Does weapon mastery combos matter?
