As a big Simpsons fan and as someone who wrote to the Simpsons producers about a script idea, I can understand why Pearl Jam turned down the Simpsons it. Eddie Vedder was the most uncomfortable being on the Simpsons. Stone Gossard was briefly seen in Say Anything which was produced by James L Brooks who produced the Simpsons. I have an idea for a Simpsons episode which Pearl Jam is Lisa realizes the oceans in Springfield are not clean and she tries to stage a benefit concert to save the oceans and she gets Pearl Jam to perform at the benefit concert.
It was exciting when I heard their name.

I saw Cameron Crowe's ex Nancy Wilson and her sister Ann Wilson on a show called Musicians which was like Inside The Actors Studio but for Musicians and it was on the same network that made Inside the Actors Studio. They were talking about their band Heart and performed some songs and Nancy Wilson was talking about doing music for Cameron Crowe movies. Nancy Wilson seemed cool and a lot of fun.
It's good and the young actors are charming.
Expect Dim Sum A Little Bit of Heart is a scripted movie. They still edited out the more exciting scenes and edited out the more mainstream looking Joan Chen and Mark Dacascos. If you type in Dim Sum Take Out in youtube you will see the more exciting scenes. I posted the deleted scenes on social media and Mark Dacascos reposted my post. Amy Hill who was in Singles was in the movie. I'll let you know what I think when I watch the directors cut of Dim Sum A Little Bit of Heart. Both Pearl Jam Twenty and Dim Sum a Little Bit of Heart went to theaters. The network that showed both of those films tries to show the most boring stuff.
In the movie the character Aidan Laprete plays has a book about surfing. Two of the actors in the movie who are Mohana Krishnan and Lilah Pete guest star on The Summer I Turned Pretty the episode Mohana Krishnan guest starred on had Kyra Sedgwick who was in the Pearl Jam movie Singles. Aidan Laprete can play the ukuleke like Eddie Vedder.

It's mean scripted and very newsy. Cameron Crowe would never make a documentary news type of film he is too nice to. Interview films are more gentle nowadays than they used to be. Tom Petty Heartbreakers Beach Party was ahead of it's time for a gentle interview movie. It was probably rarely seen until now because network execs probably don't want gentle interview movies.

We throw movie nights for our friends! Usually they’re chill, but we’re going balls to the wall next time for a tiki themed bday party. We have the following movie ideas, most of them will play at a low volume/muted during the party, until we sit down to watch one or two altogether:
