So my grandfather recently passed and had this in his basement, I recently applied power to it and its functional, the bell is labeled as Edwards & Company, Single Stroke on the outside. Inside its a solenoid that fires a striker into the bell housing, causing it to ring.

This station is also AC designed, but it works fine on DC anyways if I limit the current, Pull station is CAT 1275, and the bell is a 10-S, pull is also coded, once you pull down the hook it winds a clockwork mechanism that physically spins a Code 3 cam mechanism.

Does anyone have any documentation for the pull and bell? I can’t find anything on google, hence why I’m asking here, thank you.

I was rewatching the original stargate and saw a weird gun, I thought it was a CAWS then I found out this apparently was a real thing that existed at one point.

Its so cursed I feel like it would be perfect for H3VR.

I haven’t checked thunderstore, but with how obscure this thing is I doubt it exists as a mod.

Poor thing, doesn’t sound like the blower is working properly, I was 200 feet away with only earbuds in, and I could barely hear it.

76’s would be rather unique to drive due to their weight transfer switch system, paired with having to manually shift from series into parallel.

506’s are essentially older Class 303’s, none are preserved besides a cab iirc.

So I inherited my grandmother’s Bose Wave system, i followed some advice and went into the service manual to pull the firmware model.

So, should I go about updating it? What’s the exact model for this thing? What else should I know about it?

I found some firmware files on the internet that I could burn, but I read a source that it could potentially damage the player, so I prefer to ask for advice!

Hey! So I saw that a VIA Rail subreddit existed and I thought about posting this here!

I know next to nothing about VIA besides the fact they use vintage Budd cars in regular service, as well as special F40PH’s designed for regular cold weather. I don’t even live in Canada haha!

What can be said about this VHS tape? I collect them and I found this, is it noteworthy or… have anything interesting on it?
