The game keeps saying I'm gaining radicals due to my standard of living being below expected, even though everyone is above the minimum expected standard of living. Is there anything I'm missing?

Why can't I grow my economy as Vietnam?

I've heard that the best way to grow your economy early on is to build lots of logging camps for many years. I've been doing that, and my economy does grow a little at first, but then it starts falling off. I've always had trouble growing my economy in Victoria 3, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I feel so dumb for having to ask this... what was the point of these channel icons over tv shows?

Which river do you think would be best for a river valley civilization in Europe?

Recently I watched a video by PossibleHistory on why Rome could never be as unified and long-lived as China, and he said that one reason is because they had too many geographical barriers, such as the Mediterranean, Pyrenees, Alps, and various other factors.

I also happened to see a comment under that video suggesting that perhaps an empire like China could form more easily on the European Plain to the north. That's what I was wondering about. Which river in Europe do you all think would be best suited to birthing a civilization like Akkadia, Egypt, or China?

In a Cold War between the Reichspakt and Entente, which side should be the democratic one and which side should be the authoritarian one?

I want to make some lore about a divided France in the late 60s.

If Germany is the stand in for the USSR and they collapse later on like the Soviets did, it wouldn't be much of a Kaiserreich anymore without the Kaiser, plus I want to see how a German Empire would act as the world's sole superpower in the 90s and early 2000s

But on the other hand, if the Entente are the good guys I'd get to see how an authoritarian state like East Germany would function if it were run by monarchists, and I also want to see how the British Empire would function as the world's sole superpower in the 90s and Early 2000s

Which do you all think is the better choice?

China is unique among other ancient empires like the Roman and Maurya Empires in that it is still alive after thousands of years. They managed to form an idea of collective Chinese nationalism under one ruler thousands of years before the rest of the world. I was hoping to know what the conditions for such a thing to exist in another world are.
