How to Measure Handle Wrapping

How do I accurately measure out a piece of leather that will sit flat across a grip shaped like this? I had wanted to just trace out the old one but it can off in chunks.

PA Ren Faire Weapons Policy

The new weapon rules are way shorter and to me a little more confusing. Is that just for unsheathed weapons? There's no mention of peace tying.

Mummified Dog Paw

How would I go about making one as a prop? My renfaire character is a worshiper of St. Guinefort and I want to dangle a dog paw of the end of my paternoster. I briefly considered buying an actual taxidermied coyote paw, but I'm worried about the smell and ethical procurement. My current idea for a fake is a ruined stuffed animal leg on a wire frame.

Windlass 14th Century Longsword

Obviously the geometry of this points entirely towards thrusting, but I like mixing some cuts in too. I've seen a few reviews that have said this isn't a great cutter. Is that in comparison to an actual dedicated cutter or is it just flat out not good for cutting?

Books about Medieval Weaponry

Does anyone have any recommendations for books specifically about the physics/mechanics of hand weapons, not siege weapons?

The fact that a sword or mace or dagger is technology is endlessly fascinating to me and I love seeing the ways in which people have always been smart.

Worth taking advantage of the Tod Cutler summer sale?

I really like the 1400 longsword they have, but obviously shipping to the US has been absolutely crazy for the last year. The sale they're running though does knock a bit off the price though, enough to make me consider it. Is $800(sword and shipping) worth it for the quality you get?

New Artos Munitorum

I was emailing with Artos Munitorum about their new batch of breastplates which they said was a bit flatter in shape. Do you think it's too flat?

3d printing services cor larger projects

I only need a 3d printer for one project, printing a breastplate to wear as a stopgap while I while for a reproduction tier steel, so where do I look for services that can print something of this scale that would be wearably sturdy?

Homemade Lendenier

When sewing your own arming belt/lendenier how do you make sure the arming points are positioned correctly to tie your legs on?

Up in Arms and Winds of Magic 4e

I've seen a lot of talk online about how there's some rule updates in both of these books that fix some clunky bits in the 4e core book. What are they actually? And are these books the only place to find them or is there a little rules update guide telling you what to pull from each one?

4e vs 5e rule changes and setting updates

I saw that Cubicle 7 is planning on releasing warhammer roleplay 5e sometime this year, but I don't know if I want to wait until then to start a game. Using previous examples to guess, how hard is conversion between editions/learning the new ruleset.

Additionally is it worth learning the new ruleset? I'm still learning 4e and they've mentioned plans to continue releasing content for 4e. Would it be easier to use 4e and then pull certain features from whatever changes 5e will make?

WFRP 4e vs The Old World rpg

I really like the time period and setting of 4e, but I've heard that the Old World rpg streamlines the rules in some helpful ways. But since it's 250 years earlier than 4e, how much is missing from the rules that gets invented or occurs in that time?

Contam or Bruising?

Soaked off some pooling moisture and noticed this blue spot an hour later. Is that just bruising from dabbing with a paper towel?

If it's not can I cut it off while it's still that small?
