Is the bottom already behind us?

Been sitting on this for a couple of days because I keep going back and forth on it.

We're about 49% off the October high, price has been glued to the mid 60s for weeks, and realized vol is about as dead as I've seen it. Everyone I know is either quietly DCAing or has just stopped opening the app.

Watched a Milk Road interview with Matt Crosby, onchain analyst, and his argument is basically that the capitulation already happened. He walks through several indicators that hit levels which historically only show up around bear market bottoms, and his take is that waiting for a clean $50K wick, or for an October bottom because "that's what usually happens," is anchoring to a pattern instead of reading the actual data.

The part I found more interesting than the number was the framing. Long bleed, then sideways at low volatility, is what bottoms look like in hindsight, and it never feels like an opportunity while you're sitting in it. Bottoms are boring, not dramatic.

Where I'm skeptical: onchain bottom signals have fired early plenty of times before. And most of those indicators were calibrated on cycles where BTC didn't have this much ETF and institutional flow underneath it. The holder base is structurally different now, so I'm not sure the historical comparisons carry the same weight they used to.

Real question for people who have been through more than one cycle: do you still weight onchain metrics for timing, or has that stopped being useful for you? And does this stretch feel like late 2022 to anyone, or is that just what we all want it to feel like?

Perlan vs Volcano Express vs Flyover vs Perlan — which is most worth it?

I'm trying to decide which of the Reykjavík attractions is actually worth doing and getting a bit overwhelmed with the options 😅

We’ll already be spending a day walking around Reykjavík, so ideally looking for one experience to add rather than filling the whole day with attractions.

Right now I’m looking at **Perlan, Volcano Express, FlyOver Iceland and Lava Show**. We’re especially interested in Iceland’s volcanoes, but more interested in the experience than spending hours in a museum.

For anyone who has done a couple of these, which one would you choose if you could only do one? And are any of them too similar to bother doing together?

Spent extra on foil business cards for my consulting side gig, the ROI surprised me

been running a small consulting side gig for about 18 months. first year i used basic flat business cards from a big box print shop, like 250 for 25 bucks. they did the job but honestly the card would hit someones hand and go straight into a pocket or a bin. nothing made them want to hold onto it.

as a solopreneur you only get one shot with most people you meet. if the card doesnt do something, if it doesnt make them actually look at it for a second, its dead on arrival. so last quarter i upgraded to metallic foil printed cards. paid like 40 bucks for 250 with foil on the logo.

tracked it informally, from the foil batch 4 of 50 people i handed them to actually emailed me within a month. from the old basic batch the ratio was like 1 in 50.

not saying foil is magic. but the card becomes a conversation starter and people dont throw it away. for anyone running solo where every connection counts, the extra 15 bucks per batch is nothing.

ill update when i finish the next batch.

Whats your current go-to for printing postcards in bulk? Vistaprints minimums got weird

ive been doing postcard printing for my freelance client pipeline, like 200-300 per quarter to warm leads. vistaprint used to be my go-to but they bumped the minimum on the size i use and the per unit jumped with it. moo has good quality but its like 2x what i was paying before. anyone got a printer they actually like rn for postcard bulk printing, 250 to 500 qty range, 4x6 or 5x7, decent stock? open to anywhere in the us, ideally free shipping.

What AI editor are you guys actually using for real estate photos?

I used AutoHDR for a while and I’ve tested a few other AI editing tools since, but honestly I haven’t been that impressed with any of them.

Most either look too processed, mess up windows/colors, or just aren’t consistent enough for me to trust on a full batch.

Curious if any of you are actually using an AI editor regularly in your workflow and genuinely happy with it. What are you using?

As a real estate agent, do you usually hire a photographer for every listing?

I’ve always been curious how other agents handle listing photos.

Do you hire a photographer for every listing, or are there some properties where you’ll just take the photos yourself?

If you hire a photographer, do you usually cover the cost yourself, and what are you typically paying per listing?

And for agents who take their own photos, is it mainly to save money, save time, or because professional photography just isn’t necessary for every listing? And what makes you decide whether a listing needs professional photos or not?

what questions actually helped you evaluate a dev team before hiring them

what questions or signals actually helped you figure out if a team is legit before signing anything

when does custom WMS actually make sense over off-the-shelf

been evaluating WMS options for 3 months. every vendor says they can handle our workflows but when we dig into it there's always a "minor customization" that costs as much as the license

at what point did you decide off-the-shelf wasn't worth the config cost and just go custom

join relentless

looked into join relentless and almost fell out of my chair when i saw the pricing lol. like who is actually paying thousands upfront AND a cut of their first year salary just to have someone apply to jobs for them??

im not calling it a scam or anything, im genuinely asking if theres a type of person this actually makes sense for, because at first glance it seems kinda insane to me. talk me into it or out of it

Yacht chartering in the Adriatic and specific boat features

Thinking about chartering a yacht next summer in the Adriatic, probably in June or July. Been eyeing the Sunseeker 88, especially the 2023 ones. Last time we were out there, chilling and swimming off the back of the boat was the main thing, so wondering how the beach club area looks on these?

Also, kinda unsure about the food situation. We usually roll with a chef, but do folks around here let the crew sort out meals and stuff? Would love to just take it easy and not fret over provisions.

And any casual sailing paths between Croatia and Montenegro? Just wanna catch some nice views, nothing too rigid.

Got 8.5 overall: L 7.5, R 9, W 8.5, S 9 | self study, no coaching, sharing what worked

Just got my IELTS results and still can't really believe it 😭

Academic, computer-based, Mumbai. I just needed 7+ for my Canada applications, so tbh this is more than what I was expecting. Prepared for around 5 weeks, completely self-study, no coaching. Cambridge IELTS practice tests were probably the biggest part of my prep. I mainly used books 14-18 and did them under timed conditions. For writing, spent a lot of time actually reading the band descriptors and understanding what examiners want at each level, tbh that changed how I structured the essays.

Speaking is what I was most worried about since I had no study partner. So, I recorded myself answering Part 2 and 3 questions on my phone and listened back, painful but it helped me catch filler words and weird pauses. Also used PrepEx IELTS for mock practice which scored me on all 4 criteria separately, that helped me figure out what to actually fix. Last two weeks I just practiced speaking out loud for 15-20 mins every day on just random cue card topics.

If you're preparing: Cambridge past tests are important, understand the band descriptors (especially for writing), and practice speaking out loud every single day even if it's 10 minutes. Btw, computer-based is great if you type fast.

Me da rabia.

legit high-ticket crypto affiliate programs with lifetime commissions?

forgot what I used to get, something like “$10 for a signup”? Anyway, definitely over those. Kind of on the hunt for programs that aren’t just a one-and-done deal but keep the commissions coming over time. I've got a bunch of mates who run small businesses and a few folks who are well off, all dipping their toes into crypto and trading like OTC. I’m trying to find them a place that’s all above board, takes care of all the compliance jazz and actually looks after customers so I don’t have to get stuck into each case.

Anyone run into good crypto programs that work with businesses? I'm not interested in the quick payouts but more the steady, ongoing ones. Plus, got to be legit and regulated, right? They're dealing with more complex stuff like OTC trades, crypto for goods and maybe even stuff like luxury journeys and what not. Been peeping into a few options, and came across this Instacoins thing. They seem to handle the OTC stuff and other services decently, might stick with them dependin...

Did anyone actually plan for support payments stopping unexpectedly?

Something I thought about way too late in my own divorce process. Everyone focused on the alimony or child support amount, how much, how often, and for how long. Almost nobody talked about what would happen if those payments suddenly stopped because of a job loss, illness, or something else.

In my case, my agreement didn't really address that possibility, and I realized afterward that I hadn't even thought to ask about it during negotiations. Did this come up for anyone else, or was the focus mostly on the payment amount?

I almost gave up, now I've just hit £120,000+ on trading stocks...

I don't normally post on here, but if this helps one person then it's worth it.

I'm 32. I started trading stocks back during the whole GME and AMC craze. I turned £1k into almost £10k and thought I had it all figured out and that it was going to continue.

Then I literally lost everything. I was so f***ing sad and upset and everything in between. That's a lot of money to me.

After that I became addicted to chasing stocks that had already run. I went into debt and took out loans to keep chasing. It ruined my life. Every time I thought I'd make it back, I'd lose even more. It got to the point where trading affected my relationship, my mood, and pretty much my whole life. I used to ALWAYS check my phone.

I joined Facebook groups, bought courses, watched YouTube, read books and did almost everything. Every one of them promised they'd make me profitable.

None of them ever did.

Stay with me on this - so I remember seeing someone mention Atlantic Trading on this sub and I just thought, "Another scam." Then I saw it mentioned again somewhere else. I still ignored it. A friend of mine on this sub (you guys probably already know who, he is well known and posted a big gain that went viral around a month or two ago) joined it and started posting their portfolio. So I thought f**k it, I might as well join as I've got nothing else to loose.

As soon as I joined, I actually had losing trades. Infact, the first f***ing week was horrible and I lost more money. BUT the difference over there is none of the admins hide them. People actually talk about what went wrong instead of pretending they're right all the time, and there is surprisingly a large number of people that were exactly in the same situation as me. I bet you can somehow relate to this as well.

After the first week, it started to get f***ing unreal. Oh my god. There was winning trades after winning trades (INHD was one of them, I remember it was up 900% in one day on Trading212). Eventually I just stopped chasing. I became patient. I focused on discipline instead of trying to get rich overnight.

They also shorted a lot of tech stocks on Trading212 CFD and made a KILLING a few weeks ago (it literally made me around 20k in 2 weeks).

Also, they were buying calls in $PLTR yesterday before earnings, so managed to bag a quick 200% from that (the 140c went up as high as 500%+ but I got out a bit earlier).

Today I've recovered everything I lost and my account is officially over £120k. Also - can I just say compounding is fking INCREDIBLE.

And I'm going to give credit where credit is due. Thank you, you guys know who you are as I'm pretty sure you will come across this post and we talk on this sub - you have changed my life.

Where do I get robux safely and reliably? Need proven and reliable recommendations

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking for a safe and reliable way to buy robux outside the usual ingame option, but there are so many sketchy looking sites and mixed reviews that I’m not sure what to trust...

What do you usually check before buying? Are there any platforms you’ve personally used without issues, or any obvious red flags I should avoid?

Not looking for “free Robux” stuff or generators or anything remotely shady. Just a legitimate place with fair prices and reliable delivery.

Thanks

Are your managers still making cold calls every week?

I keep seeing managers on LinkedIn talk about how they still dial a few times a week, and honestly I like the idea.

On paper it makes sense. If you want reps to believe the process works, the manager should still be in the game too.

But I am curious how this works in real life. Do you actually share those calls with the team? Do you review the bad ones too, or only the good ones?

And what happens when the manager has a rough week and the calls are not great? Do you keep dialing until one sounds clean enough to use as an example?

I am not against it. I just want to know how people make it useful instead of turning it into a vanity thing.

Would be good to hear how other teams handle this.
