How often does needing new flooring come up for you?
For you personally, how many times a year would you say tenants end up needing new flooring that the owner ends up having to pay for?

Seems like almost every economist is against it. What are your arguments for what it will work?
I hear and read conflicting thoughts.
I'll read books and watch videos of salesmen saying things like:
"never say how can I help you"
"always have palms facing out"
"wait 3 seconds too approach"
I've also heard people say all these things are outdated and sales techniques trigger red flags. For example, my girlfriend and I went shopping for a new car and the salesmen said our name multiple times, an amount that a normal person wouldnt and it was obvious he was doing it because he learned thats what hes supposed to do.
Do you think its better to just act like a normal person talking to a friend?
My understanding is that carpet is much more complicated because it comes in 12ft.
Is vinyl much more simple? Just find the sq ft of the room then divide by the sq ft in the box im ordering? (plus add some waste)
I've been dating this girl for 5 years now, were both in our 30s. Our first year together she had a habit of being flirty and touchy with other guys. I saw in her texts one night she went out to a bar and got drunk and danced with some other guy she was attracted to. No evidence anything else happened.
When I confronted her she told me was sorry and that my feelings were valid. She said she viewed flirting as just harmless fun but if it was past my boundaries she would respect my boundaries and not do it anymore. She also told me she would stop drinking as much, stop going out as much, give me full access to her phone, and her location. I also overheard her crying on the phone to her mom about how shes a bad person for doing that.
4 years since and she has changed completely. Zero evidence of her flirting with other men. She cut back on drinking significantly and also doesnt really go out out like that anymore.
I feel like it was rational for me to be upset at the time, but with the context of this being 4 years ago and no evidence that she actually cheated, I should be over it by now. Im sure this is related to my anxious attachment style. Any advice?
EDIT: MAYBE an important detail, it was a shitty dive bar with live band playing rock music, not like a high end club where with people griding.

As a kid I just thought liberal beliefs were the mainstream and what everyone just knew was right. Now with MAGA and the DSA I feel more and more like thats not the case anymore.
By liberal I mean:
Bill of Rights
Freedom of Speech (not just the 1A but the social idea of it)
Democracy
Individualism
Capitalism
Checks and Balances
Color Blindness
Equality for Women
Prison for criminals who violet peoples right to life, liberty, and property
Like, 15 years ago I dont think anybody know would have thought these things were controversial at all. Now Idk.
I'll watch a video on the topic and think "ok cool, I'm learning"
Then I'll watch a video where the guy says "everything in that last video was bullshit, heres the real truth"
Then I'll watcher another video that says "actually its that second video you watched that was completely biased"
Same with books. People will tell me book xyz is good then others will tell me its a propaganda book.
Like wtf am I supposed to actually think of this topic?
Link to original: Has anybody heard of countywebsite.com? : r/localseo
My dad owns a small carpet & flooring business and I've been training to take it over. We've been paying CountyWebsite.com $2,390 per year for their "Marketing 2 County/City Listing Package" + domain management.
The website is very old and they haven't done any meaningful updates or Google Business Profile work in years.
I emailed them about canceling the big marketing portion and only keeping basic domain renewal. There response is in the pictures attached.
Main questions:
Thank you in advanced
I really want to donate money to help build a well for Sadaqah Jariyah. But unfortunately, I can't afford to pay for a whole well at the moment, I was looking for a charity that just lets you donate X amount to partially fund one.
But the majority of well donation sites I find only let you build a whole a well, and the very few I found that allowed partially where given bad reviews for being untrustworthy.
Anybody have any good advice?
Does this apply only to people who know deep down Islam is true but are arrogant so they turn away?
What about people who heard Islam but genuinely just dont believe it because they dont believe in things like noahs ark or the virgin birth. Theyre not rejecting out of malicious, they just genuinely dont know its true but they would submit had they known.

My dad owns a small carpet and flooring business. I'm in training to take it over. I see he's been paying $2300 a year to be featured on countywebsite.com.
Google's AI says "countywebsite.com is an online platform and digital marketing company that operates a directory of local businesses, services, and community information across the United States."
So basically, it's an online phonebook that just has links to websites. I mean...its 2026, who today goes on online directories to look up businesses? Maybe older people but I doubt many of them even do it.
Unless there is some value they add that I'm missing, I can't imagine this being worth the money.
