Rising junior, first ever practice SAT 1320

Kind of panicking rn. Im starting IB (HL: English A, Anthropology, Language B, Global Politics SL: Maths AA, Bio) and I finished pre-IB with 39/42 predicted (6s in maths, bio and language B, 7s in English, humanities, language C). I got 710 English and 610 Math. I'm definitely more of a humanities-oriented person and I got 30 on a practice ACT last month but there are no ACT testing centers in my country. I would be willing to travel to take it but not if I can help it. I have very strong hooks at a particular 1550+ ivy league school and my ECs are top notch, so this is really my biggest problem rn. I have a year and a half to improve my score, what do I do?

Who got selected for the John Locke Essay Comp interview?

I am doing Q1 for International Relations, just had the interview option open on my portal, deadline july 5th. I was wondering, how do they decide who gets pulled? From my understanding everyone gets selected sooner or later. If not, how do they decide whom to select?

Why aren’t meals served on 2+ hour US domestic flights?

Even on 2 hour flights, Delta, United and American refuse to serve meals in First. In Eurobiz, for all its faults, a full meal is served even on 50 min flights, and at least a sandwich and drink service for anything under that. Not to mention the Asian carriers. What is going on?

Don't get the CDG hate

Genuinely. As long as you're connecting through SkyTeam (Air France, Delta, KLM, Korean etc) it's a breeze. Beautiful architecture, top tier lounges and one of Europe's only immigration checkpoints with a priority line. Max its ever taken me for a terminal change is 50 minutes from 2E to 2G

Screen angle on the new A350 in business

I’ll be flying on the new A350 layout next month to Seoul and a review I was reading mentioned that the screen juts out at an awkward angle and it’s hard to watch for a long time. It was by no means a major reviewer or anything and the big ones had nothing to say about it (The Points Guy, Turn Left for Less etc). I have flown this config before in the bulkhead seats before they added the 250 euro fee and the screen was right in front of me but in the pics I’ve seen of the regular seats it seems to angle towards the aisle, so to face it head on it looks like I would have to scoot onto the armrest pretty much. Can anyone confirm? or is this a non-problem? If not, I’ll probably splurge out on row 10 but i’d love to know first

JetTime 737 marked as an SAS A320neo?

Flying MXP-CPH on a JetTime operated SAS flight, and Flighty displays the correct registration OY-JYB but the wrong aircraft type (a320neo, which sas normally operates on the route). It is, instead, a 737. Reported the glitch, but is this a common issue with JetTime/SAS flights?

How strict are they with personal item size?

my backpack is larger than the dimensions and I’m traveling youth lite. I’m also Skyteam elite plus so zone one and a checked piece of luggage. i have just 55 mins in cph so I don’t want to risk checking it but also don’t want to risk getting pulled at the gate. Do they check for zone one? my travel companions are zone 5 and if possible I want to board with them

How common are equipment swaps (Aria Suites)?

looking to book MXP-ICN via HKG this summer in Aria. it’s scheduled as a 777-300ER route with Aria three times weekly, but this is my first time with Cathay and I’m afraid I’ll get “qatared“ and end up with the old config. Is connecting through FRA and aria suite from there safer?
