Have all the A330-300s been retrofitted with the new economy cabin?

Flying to Boston next month on an a330-300 and I saw that in many reviews as recent as 2025 the cabin still has the old seats with the ancient screen. However, in some 2026 reviews the seats are of the newer generation found on the a330-200. Can anyone clarify? There are 6 rows of economy comfort instead of 5 which seems to suggest it’ll be the newer cabin

I’m a faculty child at a T5 (HYPSM)

Open to any questions about pretty much anything except I will not reveal which school it is for obvious reasons

EDIT: I’m still in high school btw, sorry if the title is misleading, perhaps “to a T5” would have been better? Don’t really say it often lol

Broken seat door in Business - compensation?

Flying business on a long haul flight to Paris in an hour and the check-in agent informed me that the seat door would be broken. Should I request compensation onboard from the purser or after the flight online? I’m told I can expect about 50k miles. Thanks in advance

John Locke Round 2 Interviews probably aren’t happening this year

The stated goal of the in-person post-shortlist interviews in recent years was to filter out plagiarism and Al use. This has already been done by now. If they are interested in specific essay info and opinions, they have our Viverly transcripts.

The most convincing fact is that in the "next steps" category in the shortlist email the interviews aren't mentioned at all.

Thoughts?

I think private cars should become illegal in the future.

At least that’s what I hope so. It’s crazy that we have to risk our own and other peoples’ lives just cuz society forces us to, just cuz it’s what an adult man should be doing. It is a shame that we live in such an oppressive, dystopian society. I am scared.

Passport since 2024, 15 years old

I travel a lot to see my family (all over the place) and ive lived in three different countries since 2020 so seeing friends and stuff accounts for some of them. Pretty frequent holidays but usually to the same places. Still in mongolia that’s why there’s no return trip yet lol

This is fucked up

This is about the prophet Muhammad and Aisha on r/teenagers. A fifty-four year old man having sex with a 9 year old is rape either way you see it. If you were wondering I was downvoted for saying this. This wonderful pdf file went on to say that Aisha never went on to write negatively about Muhammad so it was definitely all fine and proper. I have nothing against most muslims and Islam as a whole, but failing to recognize this obvious flaw is pure pedophilia and blind faith

It's not islamophobic or christianophobic etc to point out a religion's screamingly obvious faults

The teachings of the Quran and the Bible are deeply flawed and in many cases contribute negatively to our society. Pointing this out is not "hating on religious people" it's just addressing a major problem.

It's not transphobic to call people by their biological pronouns

As an atheist and a libertarian, I believe people can be whatever they want to be, but they shouldn't expect people to always call them as they wish and they shouldn't get mad and publicly crucify you if you dont. Just like its your right to be trans, its my right to call you whatever I want to

How do I help friend of mine with self harm issues?

A friend of mine just told me about her self harm issues for the first time. We had a pretty long conversation and she told me shed gone two days without and that usually she can't do more than four, but maybe if she tries really hard she can do seven so first I tried to tell her to stab a pillow or break some glass or smth but she said it doesn't work the same way so I said "can we make it to 10 days then"? and I feel so fucking bad now that I told her she could do it pretty much what can I do?

The blue and green is (and will always be) Israel, the red is Palestine. End of story

so sick of people being like “do you mean palestine“ and “ew no that’s palestine” under every single video and post about Jerusalem or Tel Aviv or other parts of Israel. On the other side of the coin, settler expansion and violence in the West Bank is a huge problem

Possibility of merging bookings?

I’m traveling to Seoul next week with my dad, but we’re on separate bookings since his was bought by his employer, so I’m technically an unaccompanied minor (but without the service since I’m over 15). Is there a way to merge our bookings so the crew and check in staff dont think I’m YPTA, and so that if anything happens we are rebooked together?

Do the bulkhead seats on the A350-900 become free to select for platinum members after check-in?

Every seat is free except for 10A and 10L which are 200EUR. Do they become free at check in or would they rather randomly assign them to people who haven’t selected seats?
