What’s a job you ended up getting that you never imagined yourself doing? Did you fall into a career by chance, or did you end up doing exactly what you always planned and worked toward?
reddit.comDo you have a Plan B, C, and D in place, just in case?
I was fortunate enough to help my partner get the green card back in 2017. However, my brothers in law are still under DACA with valid work permits.
Over the weekend, one of our biggest conversations was about what they should do if, for whatever reason, they were ever picked up by ICE. It can feel like the system moves very quickly, sometimes leaving people scrambling to figure out what to do afterward.
What’s one mistake you made in life that you hope the younger generation can learn from and avoid?
reddit.comFrom Losing Everything to Building Everything Together
14 years ago, I met my wife. At the time, I was a single father with full custody of my two daughters, ages 4 and 5, from two different mothers.
Three months into our relationship, we moved in together, and a year later we got married. From the very beginning, she stepped up and became a loving mother to my daughters. She never treated them as anything less than her own, and for that I will always be grateful.
In December 2016, we were blessed with twins, a boy and a girl. Then in early 2017, life hit us hard. Bills piled up, our car was repossessed, and we lost our apartment. There were moments when the future felt uncertain and overwhelming. Thankfully, my mother in law opened her home to us and helped us get back on our feet.
Of course, like any other marriage, we’ve had our ups and downs. We’ve had disagreements, stressful moments, and times when life tested us. But instead of letting those challenges divide us, we learned to turn our problems into lessons. Every obstacle taught us something about patience, communication, compromise, and teamwork. Looking back, those difficult moments helped strengthen our marriage rather than weaken it.
Fast forward to today, our daughters are 19 and 18 years old, and our twins are now 10. I was fortunate enough to find a job that allowed my wife to stay home with the kids. Our children get to participate in sports, we’ve had our own place for the last seven years, and we’re able to travel 3 weeks each year.
Most importantly, I’m still very much in love with my wife.
I could write pages about everything she has done for our family, but this is just a brief summary of our journey together.
Marriage isn’t about never having problems. It’s about choosing each other during the problems. There were times when we had very little money, times when we were stressed, exhausted, and worried about the future. But we kept moving forward one day at a time.
For anyone going through a rough patch right now, don’t lose hope. A difficult season does not have to be the end of your story. Keep communicating, keep supporting each other, and keep putting in the effort. Sometimes the chapters that feel the hardest to live through become the chapters you’re most proud to look back on.
Life can change dramatically in just a few years. The struggles you’re facing today may one day become the story of how you overcame them together.
I wish everyone here peace, strength, and many more happy years with the person they chose to build a life with.
I see parts of him in me
Grew up in a home where love and pain were mixed. Dad’s harsh discipline and addiction shaped my childhood, while my mom stayed no matter what. I vowed to break the cycle. Now with my partner and four kids, I sometimes see parts of him in me, and it scares me.
Hidden gem = reward.
Give me your best hole on the wall
Self proclaimed best SAHH.
Took two weeks off work and learned I could easily be one of the best stay at home husbands. Cook, clean, laundry, hang with my 10 year old twins, dirt bikes, cartoons, and gaming. Honestly, light work.
This summer vacation was a blast!

reddit.comFam I need some help.
Calling out all the Camry fam. My wife’s 2026 Camry sxe A/C stops blowing cold air. She mentioned it before but every time I’ll check it out it would work just find. We had a strip out of state and ride was brutal with no A/C. All week was 107 degrees and it seems it works from A to B but no long trips. I noticed every time I would accelerate A/C would stop. We turned off ECO mode and turned off the option on the settings as well. We have scheduled it to get it checked out but I’m asking here before I look like a total dummy at the dealership.
Not every conventionally attractive woman walking down the street is looking for a ride. Sometimes she’s just walking, living her life, and minding her own business.
reddit.comTip was based on my experience back in my days, and I took a lot of pride in being good at it. Nowadays, I’m not a fan of the tipping system itself. But I still choose to tip even for bad service sometimes, hoping it might brighten their day or remind them that someone appreciates their effort.

reddit.comDid you?
Are you living the life you told yourself you’d have back in high school?
The dreams, the goals, the person you thought you would become… did life take you there, or did it take you somewhere even better?
In my case, not at all. My life looks nothing like what I imagined back then, but honestly… life is definitely good. Sometimes the road you never planned ends up being the one you’re most grateful for.
Help a beginner please
I recently purchased the Carlinkit Tbox Plus Android 13.0 CarPlay for my 2026 Camry, but I’m a little lost on the setup. Do I need a SIM card and an SD card for it to connect to my phone, or does it work directly through my phone’s connection? Any help would be appreciated.
