33M - Man with a minor physical disability here looking for my woman

Hi everyone,

I am a 33-year-old guy from Andhra Pradesh, looking for a meaningful, long-term connection. I have a minor physical disability that affects my walking style a little but it doesn't stop me from having a full, active independent life.

Profession: Tier 1 MBA currently working in data analytics.

Location: Andhra Pradesh presently and I'm open to relocating to any tier 1 city in the country.

Health is important to me, so working out at the gym is a regular part of my daily routine to keep me active and disciplined.

I like traveling whenever I get the chance. I enjoy the calm vibes of the ocean just as much as the serenity of a hill station.

On weekends, you’ll usually find me visiting cafes or trying out new restaurants around the city. I'm a bit of a foodie who loves good conversations.

What I'm looking for:

Ideally, someone who is empathetic, communicates openly, and shares some common interests whether that's exploring new food spots or planning the next travel itinerary together.

If this resonates with you please drop a DM with a little introduction about yourself, and let's see if we click!

Any women here actively trading F&O/Stocks, or are you mostly doing Mutual Funds/SIPs?

How many of you here are into active trading (F&O, intraday, swing)? Or do you prefer keeping your peace of mind and sticking strictly to the Mutual Funds/SIP route? Or are you into Fixed Deposits? Or physical gold?

Would love to know!

33M and unmarried, friends say I'm lucky but I'm feeling bored and lonely

Hello everyone,

I’m a guy in early 30s, still unmarried. Sometimes over the weekends, I meet my married friends - both guys and girls. They are like, "Bhai, you are so lucky," and they keep going on about how I have all the freedom and happiness in the world to do whatever I want with my time and money.

Meanwhile, I’m honestly just bored and feeling quite lonely most of the time.

What do they actually mean when they say I'm lucky? Is married life really that stressful and exhausting that they genuinely miss their single days?

I hear my female friends talk about the MIL politics and how tough it is to manage kids, housework, and work. I hear guys talking about managing the expectations of the partner, in-laws, parents, work and finances.

Need Investment Advice: Plot on EMI for long-term appreciation vs. Flat for immediate use. Does land make sense for a single person?

Hi everyone,

Just had a random thought today and wanted to know your perspectives on this.

Let's say we invest in a piece of land on the outskirts of the city. We keep paying the EMIs regularly, tightening our belts today, with the sole expectation that the land value will appreciate heavily maybe 20 or 30 years down the line.

But here is my doubt: what happens if that day doesn't even come? Life is so unpredictable these days. What if the investor isn't alive 30 years down the line to actually enjoy the fruits of this investment?

And let's assume for a moment that the investor is unmarried so there are no immediate dependents or kids to pass this wealth onto.

Also since the land is far away from the city the investor can't reside there immediately cuz everyday commute to work is tough.

Does it make more sense to invest in an apartment?

Need some 'big sister' advice, getting major red flags from a match. I'm a guy in early 30s.

Hi everyone,

I recently matched with a woman on a dating app and we've been talking for a bit. But honestly, some of her behaviour lately is feeling like a massive red flag to me but I'm not sure if I'm overthinking.

Ever since we started talking she's been rushing me for physical intimacy and she's rushing to get married asap (in a few months). As of now it's not been a week since we started talking.

Is something wrong with her behavior? Or am I just overthinking and being critical?

Can someone here please help me with 'big sister' advice so I can get more clarity about the situation.

TIA

Never thought I'd ever smoke and now I'm addicted to smoking. Anyone else here struggling to quit?

As a 5-year-old kid, I used to always wonder why people smoke. I absolutely hated the smell of it. I used to think—"this thing smells so horrible, how are they even enjoying it?" (I didn't know that it's inhaled) and I wouldn’t even go near anyone who was smoking.

During my college days, I tried smoking once just out of curiosity. I took just one puff of a menthol cigarette it tasted good and felt cool. But slowly, that turned into one cigarette a week, then two a week, then one daily, and before I knew it, I was finishing a whole pack a day.

Gradually, I started noticing changes in my appearance. I was having severe hairfall, climbing stairs became harder, and running or playing sports left me out of breath. That's when I realized I strictly had to quit.

I somehow managed to pull myself together and stayed completely smoke-free for 5 years.

Then one day, an old friend asked me to just give him company while he smoked. I don't know how, but I ended up lighting a cigarette. Just like that, the habit came back, and now I am once again struggling to quit.

Is there anyone here who genuinely enjoys smoking?

Setting aside all the obvious health risks and societal pressure, is there anyone here who truly enjoys the experience of it?

Are you someone who truly enjoys lighting up, or are you currently planning/struggling to quit?
