I need some advice on the best option for a 50-day volunteering program in Abu Dhabi.

I live in Dubai, but the volunteering is in Abu Dhabi (around 8 July – 27 August, about 50 days). I’m trying to decide whether I should:

1. 🚗 Commute daily from Dubai

Around 1.5–2 hours each way

Higher transport cost + daily fatigue

2. 🏠 Stay in Abu Dhabi for the 50 days

Rent a bedspace or shared room

Estimated cost: AED 800–3,500/month depending on option

More convenience but I’d be away from home

My main goal is to keep costs low but also not burn out from travel every day.

Has anyone done something similar (Dubai ↔ Abu Dhabi commute or short-term stay)? What would you recommend in terms of:

Cost efficiency

Energy/fatigue

Safety/comfort for short stays

Any advice or personal experience would really help.

The reference for the George Russell meme is related to Osama Bin Laden, and I think we should stop calling him that. I don't think this is funny until you had learned about it. Basically you're saying George is a terrorist and someone who bombs? Looking for Any Entry-Level Job in UAE

I'm 20 years old and currently a university student in the UAE. Lately I've been feeling guilty about still using my parents' money for everything. They're supportive, but I really want to start earning my own income and become more independent.

I don't need a huge salary. Even AED 3,000 a month would make a big difference to me. One of the first things I want to do is buy my parents a gift with my first paycheck to thank them for everything they've done for me.

I've been applying on LinkedIn, Indeed, company websites, and job portals, but it feels like nobody wants to hire a student with little to no formal experience. I'm willing to work hard, learn quickly, and start with an entry-level position. I'm open to startups, retail, customer service, admin work, internships, events, or pretty much any honest work opportunity.

I also have goals I'm trying to save for, like attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which would cost around AED 5,000.

If anyone has advice, knows companies that hire students, or has been in a similar situation, I'd really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks for reading.

I'm a new ENHYPEN collector and I just bought my first photocard set. I'm really excited, but also kind of scared and nervous because I've never bought photocards before and I chose stamped shipping.

My Honor phone's fingerprint sensor was working perfectly fine about 2 days ago, but suddenly it stopped working.

I've already tried restarting the phone, but that didn't fix it. The fingerprint option is still there, but it either doesn't recognize my finger or just doesn't respond properly.

I haven't dropped the phone or done anything unusual that I can think of, so I'm not sure what caused it.

Has anyone else experienced this on an Honor device? Were you able to fix it, and if so, what worked for you?

I've found a bunch of listings I want to ask about, but I can't figure out how to contact anyone. Is messaging disabled on Bunjang Global, or do I need to use the Korean app somehow?
