I picked up this Ryobi 9-inch benchtop band saw for free off marketplace. Owner said it was left by the previous owner of the house.

I haven't tried it out yet but any idea of what I should check out on this machine. Looks to be an older model and haven't been used in a while.

Looking to use repurposed wood like pallets (could that work) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or advice on how to do it. I also wouldn't want it touching the house roof.
