Just pulled a couple duracell AAA Batteries out of storage and they all look similar to this. What the heck is going on with Duracell? These aren't even expired, the exp date is March 2031 and they haven't even been used at all!

I've heard about older duracells leaking but I had no clue their batteries were still doing this, I'm surprised.

TLDR completely brand new Unused alkaline Duracell AAA cells started leaking just sitting in storage. (Batteries were stored properly in a cool climate-controlled environment and were not stored shorting against each others' leads)

Hi guys so I bought some nice 120mm sunon maglev fans because I wanted some good reliable fans for my computer case. Trouble is, they only use two wires, red and black.

My goal is to solder a standard 3 pin fan connector on, but I noticed that they left a solder point open next to the red and black. I believe that this would be for rpm readings and would be useful if I solder a wire to it and it works seamlessly with my PC.

If I solder a wire to that point, install a 3 pin connector, and install the fans into my PC case can I expect them to behave properly and give me proper rpm readings? Or have Sunon left some components out that are for the third solder point?

Hi guys just wondering whats going on with this notice I received through the eBay mobile app for a package that was just shipped through FedEx Ground Economy. Do I have a reason to be concerned here, and will the package take longer to arrive?

The shipper mentioned that they were in a rural area if that helps at all.

Hey guys this plasma has been with us for a while since it was bought new in around 2012-2013. Power on count seems pretty high to me, but power on hours don't seem too bad, I've heard that these TV's can go to 30k or even 60k hours which is crazy.

Anyways does the power on hours for this TV seem high or is it not even broken in yet?

There's a faint hum/buzzing that can be heard from the left side of the TV, but other than that the TV works perfectly.

Hi guys just curious if anyone has knowledge of what these numbers mean on some fat 360 cpus. I found these markings on a Xenon if that helps. Also, please view the 2nd picture as well it has another string of numbers that starts with "G".

Hi guys so I already lubricated this drive, and cleaned the rubber band but it keeps making this grinding noise when I try to eject the tray. Could it be that I misaligned some of the plastic gears? I'm not sure what else would cause that grinding sound.

Finally found one of my personal grail consoles, a Japanese made cecha01 or ceche01. This console was sold as untested on eBay and I paid about $85 for it. Great buy if you ask me, now I just have to see how much run time is on it 🙏

I'm gonna delid, and then put ptm 7950 under both IHS'es. I'm also gonna install evilnat 4.93 onto it when I get the chance.

I tested it and it read both ps2 and ps3 games. The fan is running super loud though, so its time to give it new thermals👌

What do you guys think? This laptop has a dedicated amd 7730m GPU with 2gb of vram, and a 4 core, 4 thread cpu, so it may not be as good as an Intel core i5 or i7 of its time, but is slightly more power efficient. Thats really the only advantage I can think of with these old amd chips. I think the CPU is an a10-4800m or similar.

I'm going to fully clean it before testing, I don't want to risk messing the board up if it has any corroded parts/areas. The battery has some slight liquid damage too, near the connector, so a new battery is already on order.

Overall, it's an old laptop from 2012, has a 1080p screen, dedicated GPU, and a great sound system. I want to bring it back, but I wanna hear your guys' thoughts on it too.

Hi again guys, guess what I got a small lot of two more untested consoles, and my luck is just crazy because as some of you may know I just recently found an untested xenon on blades.

Both of these new pickups are also xenons, one is on blades (again lol) and the other has a fixed GPU and is on 15574 (first metro v1 dashboard)

I've been sniping untested consoles on eBay for a while now, and this would be my third blades dashboard console!!

Unfortunately, out of all three blades consoles I have so far, none have fixed gpus so I'm gonna have to decide on which one to get it's GPU serviced soon.

I really hope you guys are able to find some nice stuff as well, just look for the right signs, like one thing I always look at is the overall cosmetic condition of the console, so things like the faceplate (does it have all of its memory and USB door, especially, intact) and is the shell scratched up a lot or not.

To be honest, I'm really surprised because these "untested" consoles were most likely truly untested otherwise why would someone sell me a blades console for $30 lol.

But yeah, happy hunting guys and hopefully I can bless y'all with some of my luck ig 🤞

Its a G01 model. I have cfw on it, and am limiting GPU temps to 65c.

Hi guys what do you think about these temps on my cech-g01 ps3? I have delidded it with arctic mx 7 under both CPU and GPU IHS'es, and also put mx 7 on top of the IHS'es. Do these temps look decent at 40% fan speed?

Guys I need some help here, I updated this ps3 model cech-G01 from 4.41, to 4.92 via storage media because I wanted to check ps3 toolset to see uptime and syscon error code history. I originally got this console broken with the YLOD, and I want to see what codes it's throwing, now that I have the console working again (I delid the console, and heated the GPU underfill for 2 minutes so it's probably a GPU related issue, but I would still like to check that and bring up count too)

Trouble is, I keep getting these two messages in toolset that don't let me view any of the other tabs like system manager. System manager is grayed out, I cant access anything else but Logs.

The two errors are -

"sysmem: Error: 0x80010004 - Failure to allocate 0x1300000 buffer from browser container."

And then it says -

"borrow: sysmem allocation failed"

I have tried setting my console date via Internet, have already replaced the CMOS battery on the motherboard, and have cleared cookies/cache/history/authentication information multiple times. What is going on here? I'm connected via Ethernet too, so it can't be a wifi related hardware issue.

Anyone encountered this before, or know if it's a software or hardware related issue?

Hi guys just picked this up on eBay for a little around $10 which I thought was a pretty good deal for a sealed copy.

This is my first HD DVD I've seen with a slipcover case, which is pretty awesome! It also serves some function for protecting the case/plastic.

And yeah this is also a great movie, so definitely watch it when you get the chance. I felt that I had to pick it up on HD DVD for this reason. Absolute timeless classic.

Hi guys, I believe that I have a 1947 Henning nickel in my possession, with a weight of 5.4 grams and a looped r in "Pluribus" on the reverse. I've done some reading and have seen that not all 47s and later year Hennings have the looped r. Does this make mine more rare?

I have pretty much nothing to go off of value wise, because there are no raw 47 Hennings anywhere for sale on used markets like eBay. Are these later Hennings that much rarer? I don't necessarily need to sell it immediately or anything, I would just like to know how much more this would bring compared to something like a 44 Henning (much more plentiful on sites like eBay for example, they go for 200-400 raw)

And do you think it would be worth certifying with a third party company like ICG (I believe ICG is the only one that does counterfeit coins but don't quote me on that)

This is my first true component system, overall the sound is good but I'm not really an audiophile so I can't pick on the fine sounds too much. Honestly can't complain though, the speakers sound pretty good with DSGX enabled. Overall, I'm happy with the system.

I briefly took one of the side panels off to observe the quality of the board components, and I was sad to see some no name (I assume Chinese) capacitors :(

Even so, the sound is still pretty great but I'm now wondering if the sound of this system could be improved at all by replacing those original low quality "FAIO" caps with high quality audio caps like nichicon fine gold, or elna starget?
