Do you feel strongly about calling it “the” East village / Upper West Side / Bronx etc?
Read a NY Times piece about people starting to drop the “the” and saying things like “Let’s meet in West Village” or “I live in Bronx”
Obviously that’s normal for “Brooklyn” or “Queens.” What do you think?

Does the sleeve of my wall AC unit need replacing?
My apartment gets hot after running the ac to cool down the room in about ten minutes. Do these photos look like the sleeve is conducting heat into the rooms ? I have put closed cell foam around the ac units between the sleeve and unit for insulation.
