I’ve got a 2019 Base Model Veloster, and while I love it (I got it for an amazing deal, so don’t hate the base model), it doesn’t have push to start. I was wondering, is it possible to swap out a higher trim models console and push to start button and get push to start on mine? Might be a stupid question.
I know there’s aftermarket push to start things as well, I was just wondering if this was possible. Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the MEWANT Steering Wheel covers? The ones you stitch on and are supposed to look almost OEM?
I’ve got a base model 2019 Hyundai Veloster as my daily driver, and im a broke teen about to go into college, but I’d like to get something simple that’ll change my interior - my first idea being to make the thing I touch everyday just a tad nicer.
They sell custom ones - so I’ll be able to match the blue accents of my car with blue stitching, and even get a blue ‘racing’ stripe on the top that’ll match with the bottom.
My current plan is to get faux leather for the top and bottom, and for the sides, where im always touching, to get real, perforated leather. Only reason I’d be getting faux on the top and bottom is because real leather costs about 20 extra each, for the sides and the top and bottom.
It’d run me about 70$ and 4 hours of labor, but do you guys think it’d be worth it? Is a leather steering wheel really worth it? I want some honest opinions. Thanks!

I’ve got a 2019 Base Model 2.0 Hyundai Veloster, and honestly, the speakers just sound so flat.
Is it worth it to upgrade my speakers? Right now im looking at some Kicker 46CSC654 speakers off of crutchfield, which - hopefully - should sound better and not be too hard to install.
My main question is, is it worth the hassle of taking the door jam off to put new speakers in? It’d only be in the front, I’m leaking the rear speakers for now.
Just recently bought this 2019 Hyundai Veloster base model for 9 grand - 42K miles. I know it’s a slow car, but it was such a good deal (& great on gas and im in college) I couldn’t pass it up.
My only gripe is that I HATE cloth seats.
I was thinking of changing it out for some cloth/leather combo seats from the premium trim level. It should bolt on just fine, airbags should wire up without problem, but I won’t have heated seats (my current model doesn’t even support it)
Basically, is this worth it? Seats on the final slide are what im looking at, and for the pair, seller wants about 385$. Could probably get like 200$ for my front seats, and id be leaving the back seats stock for now.
Is this worth it? Would the red stitching clash with my blue accents too much, or would it look intentional? Give me some opinions! Thanks.

Only problem - rebuilt title. Final slide shows what caused it to be totaled and turned into a rebuilt title. It’s really just a fender bender. No rust, new paint job, and seemingly mechanically sound.
Good for college?
Would these manual Hyundai Veloster N front seats fit in a base veloster?
And better question - are they comfy? is the upgrade even worth it?

to people who have sat in both - is it worth it to upgrade my base 2019 Hyundai Veloster's cloth seats with a Base Premium seats? I would be able to set up heated seats feature if i wire it up. I mostly just hate the base cloth seats and would love leather accents, without having to fully commit to the leather.
Is it worth it to switch tho? In total it'd cost me about like 650$ for the driver and passengers, while i'd wait to replace the back later. I could probably sell my current seats for like 300$ as a pair and recoup some cost, but i'd still be spending 300 for cloth/leather seats. Does it seem worth it?

recently bought a 2019 Base Model Veloster, and while I’m loving the car, my biggest gripe is the cloth seats.
i was planning on taking some trips to nearby junkyards and hoping i could find, at very least, a second gen 2.0 Premium Veloster with the cloth and leather combo, since i know they’re both compatible with eachother without any cutting or fitment issues.
I know heated seats won’t work unless I re-wire some things, but the airbag port uses the same plugs, so those should be good.
TLDR; how common is it to find junkyard 2nd gen Velosters, specifically anything above the base model. I know they’re getting up to be 7 year old cars, so I can’t imagine it’s too common, but I just wanna know what you guys think.

I was wondering if there was an easy way to fix this? Or should I cave and take it to a shop to fix.
It’s cloth, no heated seats. Pretty small too, didn’t have a dime but it’s smaller than a penny.
