Crossposting and uploading a video isn't working on New Reddit

So I would like to crosspost a post, but after I click on it, it redirects me to the blank submit page.

I can't upload a video of it because it's stuck on 0% too

Link Discord and WoW to Keep the Guild Chatting Wherever You Are

Discord’s roots in games like World of Warcraft® go pretty far back. In fact, when Discord first launched and only had a handful of users, many of them were using it for their MMO guilds!

We figured after all these years, it’s about time we partnered with our friends at Blizzard to officially bring your Discord and World of Warcraft guild chats together.

Linked Guild Chat is Here!

From Discord to your guild chat, or from guild chat to Discord. By linking Battle.net and Discord together, messages sent from either Discord or World of Warcraft can be synced, letting you chat with your guild whether you’re mid-raid in WoW, chilling in the guild Discord server, or out grabbing dinner.

In WoW, you’ll now see a Discord icon to represent when messages to the guild chat have been sent from Discord.

How to Connect Battle.net® and Discord to Link Your WoW Guild’s Chat

The process to connect Discord to World of Warcraft has two big parts to it: The first involves linking your accounts, and the second is syncing your guild chats together.

First, Link Your Accounts

You can link your accounts directly through Discord! If you’ve already linked before, you may still need to update your connection.

  • In Discord, head to your “User Settings” page.
  • Click “Connected Apps”, then click on the Battle.net logo.
    • Depending on whether you’ve connected other accounts in the past, you may need to click the “View More” arrow to find that option.
  • Read through the required permissions, follow the prompts, and then you’re set!

You can also link directly in World of Warcraft by following the instructions on Blizzard’s page. If you’re still unsure how Connected Accounts in general work, take a peek at our support article on ‘em.

Second, Link the Channels in World of Warcraft

The next step happens in Azeroth. In-game, you’ll have either your WoW guild’s leader or a guild officer take the following steps:

  • Open the Guild & Communities UI with the (J) hotkey.
  • Select the Roster tab on the right side of the panel.
  • Select "Guild Settings" on the bottom right of the panel.
  • Under the Guild Control dropdown, select Discord Settings.
  • In this window, you will see all Discord servers you belong to and select the specific channels that have linking permissions available.
  • Click a server to select it.
  • Select a linkable channel from the dropdown and click the link.
  • Approve

If you’re not seeing these options available, that may mean you need to check the permissions you have for the Discord server you’re trying to link. You can check this by heading over to your Discord server settings and check that you have the Manage Channels, View Channel, and Send Messages user permissions

Get back to running keys and raid prep with friends!

You and your Warcraft guild should be all set now! Over on Blizzard’s page, you’ll find details on a few extra settings you can play around with, such as how your character name is displayed and chat filters to control where messages appear.

I'm actually pretty hyped to get this set up for me and my friends this weekend. Chasing people down to fill keys or asking a million times if everyone's got flasks and other stuff ready for raid is always a pain, so having everything in one place is gonna make organizing way easier. Raid nights should be a lot less chaotic now.

Instead of messing around in settings to connect your Twitch or YouTube and get subscriber roles, it'll now pop up right away when you join a server! You're welcome tier 3 subs.

It's official, Reddit has announced that they have closed down old.reddit to anonymous users and scrappers

Reddit Admin News Weekly | July 30, 2026

from r/help at https://redd.it/1vazyij

  • old.reddit.com now requires a login.
  • The Home Feed experiment is currently only enabled for users of the iOS beta app. If you are not using the iOS beta app, you should no longer have the Home Feed/For You experiment enabled. (No one is happier about this than me.) Thank you to everyone who had previously left feedback about this experiment. I have shared it all with the team in charge of this feature. And here we are!
  • Just a reminder that Reddit does not provide support outside of Reddit. If some rando sends you a chat, be on high alert if you decide to reply. There are a lot of scams out there and they're looking for easy targets.
  • The most recent version of the app is 2026.29.0. If you're not using the most recent version of the app, it might not work properly.

Current Experiments:

  • You may see an experiment where your profile avatar and other buttons are at the bottom instead of at the top. Feel free to leave feedback if you're in that group. BUT some users may see the buttons on the app and desktop up at the top instead of at the bottom. So that's fun! Something for everyone!
  • There is currently an experiment running where some users will tap on their profile avatar and be taken to their profile instead of having that menu expand. If you're in this experiment, you can tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of your profile page to display the options in the menu. We commented on this post about this.
  • If you are in the experiment where you have a large search bar at the top and collapsed sidebars on desktop, you can click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) on the left to expand the left sidebar. It will stay expanded as long as your browser window is open. If you close the browser window, it will collapse and you'll need to click again to re-expand it. And if you're wistfully longing for the right sidebar, you can create a custom feed with the subs that are in your home feed and view that instead. You can also change the sort of your custom feed to whatever you want! You can check out this Help Center article for instructions on how to create your very own custom feed.
  • Speaking of search, some users will have trending topics based on their activity pop up under their search bar.
  • Reddit is testing a version of awards that’s free and quicker to use with a small group of testers. Users in the test group will have access to free awards for the full duration of the experiment. If you're eligible for free awards and click the award entry point on a post or comment, you’ll see up to 5 free awards. This is on both the iOS and Android app at this time, though a very small number of users may experience this feature on the desktop site.
  • If you're having trouble finding the Popular feed on the app, please tap where it says "Reddit" and there will be a drop down menu. You can also access Watch, Latest, Games and News from that same drop down.
  • Some users on mobile web may see a "Read more" prompt that you can tap to load more content.
  • You may see a "For You" feed, which is a renamed version of the previous "Home" feed. It’s a personalized feed of content that contains posts from communities you’ve joined, personalized recommendations based on your interests and communities you’ve joined, and some ads. There is also a "Following" feed which strictly shows content only from the communities you’ve joined and users you explicitly choose to follow (plus ads). The Following feed will not contain any recommendations from Reddit based on your interests.
  • If your account is in the above experiment, the option to turn off recommendations in your feed has been removed because there's the dedicated Following feed to view content from communities you are a part of. So you don't need to turn off recommendations! Just view the Following feed.
  • Chat has been removed from old Reddit for some users. You can still use chat on other platforms.
  • Discovered by me: There's an experiment ongoing on mobile that changes the style of post interactions to the 2nd gen one now with slashes as a split
