Cramping before before period, Kyleena

Ive had my kyleena for basically one year and have always had cramping right before my period. This doesn't necessairly happen every month since insertion but most months for sure. i went to my doctor a month ago, told her about the cramping, got an ultasound to make sure kyleena was in place and boom she was! Shes in the proper position, yet i still have terrible almost contraction like cramping before my period almost every month, happens right after ovulation. My doc told me thats just what it is basically and my iud is not to be concerned about. just wondering if anyone else gets these cramps on kyleena?

How many different practice exams to take?

Hi! Taking my V1 CSC exam in November. As of right now I’ve taken both the Michael hilnka practice exams and one of the CSC check ones. Do people usually just redo and cycle through just a few exams or are you doing new practice exams each time?

Anybody do meditation for stress?

I’ve recently started doing a quick 5 min meditation when I get to my desk in the morning (I work from home) before I start my workday. I’m trying to just become calmer and less stressed throughout the day in general. Has anyone noticed that doing some mini meditations throughout the day has helped them? 🧘🏼‍♀️

Also if anyone has any specific meditations they enjoy and listen to on Spotify/youtube please let me know!

Had a random low HRV last night

My average HRV is 56-65 and last night randomly had 33? I didn’t do/eat anything different before I went to bed. i did have an “elevated HR” of 58bpm (usually closer to 50-53) I know you’re not supposed to focus on one night specifically of HRV. Any thoughts?

Spotting after 10 months

I’ve had my iud for about 10 months and have noticed I get spotting that lingers after my period for a few days and although it’s not heavy it’s still annoying. I’ve gotten an ultrasound recently to check if it was out of place but everything came back normal and it’s not out of place whatsoever. Has anyone else experienced this? I have kyleena :)

Real confused

I have a really good job right now working in the capital markets. But I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do. Part of me wants to go back to get a masters in something but not sure what so that’s my last option. I really feel like everyone makes post grad seem like we have everything figured out. I don’t ! I feel like I’m still so young and if I really want to change career paths now is the time to do it !!! But it’s such a scary thing to do. It’s like starting from square one. Not feeling like the top dog rn.

To get a kindle or to not?

I’m conflicted. I have an iPad but never use it to read because I live physical books. I do like the convince of a kindle but if I really wanted to read a book digitally I think to myself that I’d probably just use my iPad. But I don’t! Give me your pros and cons of kindles/kobos/dressers in general.

Does anyone track their Basal Body temp

If so, do you sometimes have a slightly elevated temp even while you’re on your period with an IUD?

Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Just finished this book and WOW! I really didn’t know what to expect out of this book but it’s probably my top book I’ve read this year. I’ve never sobbed from a book more. The characters, the story building, the foreshadowing -all chefs kiss. I loved it. Highly recommend for your next read🔭🚀👩‍🚀

Is cardiovascular age accurate?

Curious on what the community’s thoughts on cardiovascular age are. How accurate do we think it is? Oura clearly stated they can’t measure PWV directly so they use PPG (the optical sensor in the ring). Just wondering how accurate it can actually be if it’s only using these sensors and not wave velocity.

Anxiety with pill vs iud

Hi! I’m curious to know if someone else has experienced something similar. I was first put on the pill about 2 years ago and was on it for about a year and a half. I had never experienced the amount of anxiety in my life while being on the pill and was convinced that the combo pill was the reason for this extreme anxiety. To the point that I couldn’t even enjoy my day to day life. I decided to get the kyleena iud in order to hopefully improve the anxious symptoms I had on the pill. I’ve had my iud for about 9 months now and have seen a significant improvement. While I still sometimes have anxious moments I am in a way better place than I was when I was on the pill. Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience?

Looking to upgrade my scope

I am looking to upgrade my entry level scope (80mm /600mm) by the end of the year, but wanted to start doing some research now. Does anyone have some good recommendations? I want to be able to see more in the night sky, especially with daylight savings coming up in the next few months and it being darker for longer. I would also like to be able to take photos, and I know there are some scopes that can connect to a phone or laptop for observing better.

Extra details:
-Willing to spend $1-2k for something of quality
-Location: Southern Ontario, there’s unfortunately lots of light pollution :(
-Would need it to be easily portable so I can take to areas with less light pollution
