[Itinerary Check] 3 Days in Kyoto, Is this too packed?

I'm finalizing my 3 day Kyoto itinerary and would love to get your thoughts. I tried to group things by area to avoid spending too much time on transit.

Day 1

  • Kiyomizu-dera -> Sannenzaka & Ninenzaka -> Kodai-ji -> Gion & Maruyama Park -> Yasaka Shrine

Day 2

  • Arashiyama Bamboo Forest -> Tenryu-ji & Togetsukyo Bridge -> Kinkaku-ji -> Ryoan-ji -> Nijo Castle

Day 3

  • Fushimi Inari Shrine -> Nishiki Market -> Philosopher's Path -> Kyoto Imperial Palace -> Gion Corner

A few questions:

  1. Is Arashiyama really worth it? I've heard the bamboo forest gets insanely crowded. Do you think it's an absolute must-do, or is it okay to skip it to free up some time?
  2. Does this look doable, or am I rushing it?

Thanks! 🙏

Scared Wellbutrin will mess with my heart and liver

I started taking Wellbutrin (bupropion) recently for my depression and I can't get it out of my head I keep worrying it's going to damage my heart or liver and take years off my life. I know doctors prescribe it constantly, but the fear just won't quit.

I think part of it is that I'm not really a "pill for everything" person to begin with. I don't even like taking anything for a headache or other small stuff it kind of feels like putting my body through strain it doesn't need. So being on something daily is already a mental hurdle for me

For anyone who's been on it:

  • Did you ever get your liver levels or blood pressure checked while taking it? What did your doctor say?
  • If you've been on it a long time, how do you feel? Any heart or liver issues, or has it been fine?
  • If you're also someone who normally avoids meds, how did you get past that first wave of fear starting something new?

I think some of this is health anxiety the thing that's supposed to help becomes the thing I'm scared of. Curious if anyone's dealt with the same thing

Not looking for medical advice to replace my doctor, just want to hear real experiences.

Thanks for reading.

TL;DR: On Wellbutrin and scared it'll hurt my heart/liver and shorten my life. Not normally a meds person, so it's a mental hurdle. Want to hear from people who've been on it long-term any issues.

Fine hair that refuses to hold any shape

Male, extremely straight and fine hair, medium-ish length (like 6-7cm on top).

My problem is it just won't hold a shape. I've tried sea salt spray, clay, wax, texture powder pretty much everything people recommend.

Looks decent right after I style it, but 30 minutes later it's flopped right back to its default flat position and I'm back to looking like a korean highschool kid lol.

One thing I'm wondering about, I tend to avoid putting too mcuh product near my roots because I was worried about damaging my hair, so most of it ends up on the mid-lengths and tips. Could that be the issue? Like am I weighing down the lengths while leaving the roots flat?

Also not sure if I'm skipping a step should I be blow-drying it into shape first instead of just air-drying and then adding product? Open to anything, whether it's technique, lighter products, or a different cut. Thanks.

Starting a home gym, is it too early for a power rack?

Hi everyone,

For context: I don't live in the US or somewhere cheap where gyms are like $15 a month. A one-year membership here roughly costs about the same as a single power rack, so that's why I decided to build a home gym.

I've also decided to build a home gym because the nearest gym is 1 hour away from me, and with the commute it eats up a big part of my day. Luckily I also have a space at home where the neighbors won't be disturbed and that's suitable for working out, so I want to put it together slowly.

What I currently have:

  • 2 dumbbell bars
  • 1 regular (long) barbell
  • 30 kg of plates total

What should I prioritize for my next purchase? Do you think it's too early for a power rack? Thanks

Home gym kurmaya karar verdim, yardımcı olur musunuz?

Şu an elimde olanlar:

  • 2 adet dumbbell barı
  • 1 adet normal (uzun) bar
  • Toplam 30 kg plaka

Bir sonraki alımımda neye öncelik vermeliyim? Power rack icin sizce cok mu erken? Tesekkürler.

Should I start with low poly before attempting high poly models?

I really want to make stylized characters like the ones in Genshin/Honkai/Wuthering Waves, but I'm a beginner and those look way out of my league right now. Does it make more sense to spend time on low poly modeling first to get the fundamentals down (topology, UVs, the whole pipeline), or am I just delaying the inevitable and should I dive straight into the high poly character stuff I actually care about?

GarageBand wont install?

Hey everyone,

I got the newest gen iPad Pro and I'm running into a weird issue. I'm trying to reinstall GarageBand, but the App Store is crawling. It says it's going to take 8-9 hours to finish installing.

The weird part is that my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine and I can download or update any other app in seconds. It seems to be strictly an issue with GarageBand.

Has anyone else experienced this or know a quick fix? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
