Why does Hotstar take stuff off without warning?
I was watching The Americans and all of a sudden it's disappeared today. Why can't they say leaving soon or something, like Netflix?

Since the past few weeks, the power has been going out multiple times a day, and every single time the wifi gets disconnected too. And even after the electricity comes back, the wifi takes another 5-10 minutes to reconnect, before which, the power is gone again. It is so genuinely frustrating. Do they not have generators or something?
I've watched a lot of thrillers, action, sci-fi, crime, fantasy, fights, etc, and I'm looking to switch things up a bit. I want something that's purely driven by characters, relationships, conflicts, dialogue, and drama, rather than action, and still delivers like an epic.
Succession would be the best example of what I'm looking for. Thanks!
I was reading a novel today and came across an em dash, and my mind immediately ran to the thought of whether this could've been written by AI, even though it was very clearly not.
Em dashes have, in my opinion, become so associated with AI writing that we now instinctively question them even when they're used in completely human-written text. Will we ever use them in a normal context again?
I recently made a post on a subreddit related to shaving. I was having a normal conversation with someone in the comments, and at some point I casually mentioned that my mom also likes the way I shave. That comment got heavily downvoted, and there were a lot of replies saying things like “you shouldn't let your mom decide what you do” and “your parents shouldn't control you”, that got heavily upvoted.
Brother, I never said my mom controls me. We just happen to have similar opinions. Is having a good relationship with your parents really that strange?
I've noticed this attitude elsewhere on Reddit too, where people can get surprisingly salty or dismissive whenever parents are mentioned, as if any parental opinion automatically means you're being controlled or infantilized.
Obviously, there are genuinely toxic or controlling parents. But surely having parents you actually get along with, listen to, or happen to agree with isn't inherently a bad thing.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just seeing a weird Reddit subset?
So I randomly opened my instagram to find out these 2 texts being rapidly sent to all of my dms, only when I changed my password did it stop.
My instagram password is pretty unique and I don’t use it as the password for any other app/account. What could be the reason for the h*ck and how do I prevent this?
It could be songs as well as just OST/music, a recent example of what made me sob was Sirens from the Odyssey.
Edit: I want the music to be sad/melancholic not the lyrics or like a break-up song
They are so fucking useless that they let in basically all the sunlight. What is even the point of having curtains if my room is still fully lit at 6 AM?
The light is so bright that it makes it difficult to use my laptop without constantly seeing my own reflection on the screen.
Is there a possibility that they might issue a change or something if I make an official request?
I've noticed that Bollywood comedies seem to get disproportionately low IMDb ratings. Like almost always below a 6.
For example, Golmaal 3 is sitting at around 5.8. Obviously, it's not high art, but it is supposed to be a slapstick comedy movie, which it perfectly is. The same goes for a lot of Priyadarshan-style comedies, Akshay Kumar comedies, and other mass-market Hindi comedies, whereas English comedies, however silly are very lauded.
It feels like IMDb heavily rewards films that are emotional, "serious", or "important", while straightforward comedies get punished for being silly, even when they completely succeed at what they're trying to do.
Started reading again after a break of about 5 years. Just finished The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and absolutely loved it.
Looking for thrillers/mysteries/suspense that are genuinely hard to put down. Drop your best recommendations!
Like an original good old-fashioned whodunnit. Give us a murder, a handful of suspects, conflicting alibis and clues that slowly come together. He could use some of his favorite tricks with time and perspective to really play and get creative with it. Could be a really fun way to do something smaller and more intimate while still feeling distinctly Nolan.
It first plays when Mikkel meets 1986 Hannah for the first time outside the hospital, its like a quick piano routine
I was today years old when I found out they’re called that
I (M) have very rough, thick and wavy hair, and after a hair wash with shampoo, they are completely destroyed…like they straighten out, sit down flat and just become very fine, instead of being bunched up as they are usually…it takes at least 1 whole day for them to get back to their original self and this makes me hate having to wash my hair. Any particular solutions to this?
I sadly cannot have a very fixed sleep schedule (but I do get 7-8 hours of sleep every day), so apart from that, what can I do to reduce the bagginess under my eyes
20M, I keep a clean shave, usually shave every 3 days.
But sometimes (or rather most times), no matter how hard and deep I grind the razor on my face, there is always some very tiny leftover hair on my moustache and chin that make it look like I have barely shaved, especially with the greenish tint they leave
I’ve been shaving since I was 16 but I’ve noticed this starting to happen only very recently, about a year or so
Is there any technique to get a completely clean, spotless shave? Thanks in advance

On my iPad and mobile app, the sections are not deleting no matter what…neither on the left swipe nor on long pressing and deleting
It’s working properly on the desktop version though…any fixes would be appreciated thanks
Someone had posted placement stats where all or most of the top companies with 30+ lpa packages were PPO conversions. So do they not recruit from final year students at all?
What I’m trying to understand is, am I completely cooked if I don’t land a good internship in 3rd year
