I don’t think I want marriage for kids and I may just be able to continue life that way.

It sounds very complex with kids and finances, divorce rates sky high and pasts. I’m a man so I can protect and provide for myself. I’ve thought about it a lot with the current political and economic forecast it’s looking dire for kids and to then provide for a wife for life is a major responsibility after paying 50k for her wedding mahr

I realised I don’t want children the world isn’t as good as it was

Does anyone have these thoughts? I just want to focus on living and enjoying whenever I can. If a wife comes that’s fine but more so to keep my desires in halal. I have no real mission apart from getting to Jannah. Is this absurd? What’s my son and daughter going to have in 20/30 years with economically and politically the world getting worse? When I was born it was unheard of everything was sunshine and rainbows in comparison. The best case is my son gets a degree like me has house and car gets married and my daughter remains chaste gets married. I can live in service to God, enjoy myself and travel and if a wife comes and goes no issues with divorce so high I’m likely to be alone at end anyway
