Purrl & Pawlet — Mama & Baby, Together Always ❤️

I am scared. 💔

I am scared that if I have to move someday, Mama and Baby might be separated.

And after everything these two have been through, I cannot let that happen.

As I write this adoption post, my tears are rolling down my face. 🥲

It honestly feels like I am putting a piece of my soul up for adoption.

I have loved these two girls, cared for them, watched them grow, and promised them I would keep them safe.

Letting them go is breaking my heart.

But sometimes loving them means making the hardest decision for them.

I am breaking my heart now so their hearts never have to be broken later. ❤️

Their names are Purrl and Pawlet, but they have always known themselves as Mama and Baby. ❤️

And honestly, I think those names are part of their story. They aren’t just names to them…they are who they are to each other.

Mama and Baby have waited so long for someone to see them, love them, and finally bring them home….together.

Some bonds are simply too strong to be broken.

When we first rescued them, Baby was only 2 months old, and Mama was about a year old.

Today, Mama is 5 and Baby is 4. 🥹❤️

They are two of the funniest, sweetest, and cutest little girls you could ever meet.

They may take a little time to warm up to new humans, but once they trust you, you will discover just how special they are.

And honestly… they love EVERYTHING. 😂❤️

🐶 Dogs? ❤️
🐱 Cats? ❤️
🪑 Chairs? ❤️
🪴 Tables? ❤️
🌱 Plants? ❤️

Everything is their friend!

They also LOVE watching TV. 📺😂

Sometimes they sit together watching the screen like they are completely invested in the show. It is one of the cutest things to see.

They are incredibly bonded, but Mama has also made a very special friend of her own ..Ethan, another 2.5-year-old kitty. ❤️

Mama is basically still a kitten herself. She is energetic, playful, and always ready to play with kittens.

Baby, on the other hand, is a little more laid-back and sometimes gets completely overwhelmed by Mama’s endless energy.

Sometimes Baby is basically saying:

“Mama, no… STOP!”

And Mama is like:

“Just one more game!”

before running off to play with Ethan again. ❤️😂

They are also VERY food motivated. 🙈

I spoil them with wet food four times a day, and I know… I’ve created two little spoiled queens. 😂❤️

Mama has also trained Baby very well.

Baby comes first to demand treats… and then Mama comes right behind her.

And if I take my own supplements, they both immediately assume I am eating treats without sharing.

They will literally yell at me:

“Excuse me?! Where are ours?” 😂

Their three little demands in life:

🐾 A screened porch
🌱 Kitty grass every day
🐱 More cats in the family!

They absolutely LOVE their screened porch. They spend so much time there watching birds and butterflies, enjoying the sunshine and everything happening outside.

They also LOVE kitty grass and will remind me every single day that their grass is due. 😂🌱

And if they could make one final request, I’m pretty sure they would ask to bring Ethan with them too.

I know adopting three cats is not possible for most families, but these two absolutely adore their best friend. ❤️

Their story ❤️

Mama and Baby are shadows of each other.

Where Mama goes, Baby follows.

Baby depends on Mama so much, and their bond began with a story that still breaks my heart.

Mama was abandoned when her family moved away from their apartment.

She had only one baby — Baby — and she was raising her through a freezing winter.

Mama would sleep inside a cement planter and curl her entire body around her tiny baby, using her own body to keep Baby warm. ❤️

A kind woman saw them and wanted to help.

She managed to trap Baby first.

And then Mama realized her baby was gone.

What happened next is something I will never forget.

It was heavily snowing, and Mama stayed on that woman’s balcony on strike, demanding her baby back.

She cried through the night.

She didn’t care about the snowstorm.
She didn’t care about the freezing cold.
She didn’t care about anything except finding her baby.

Sometimes she would rest in the planter, gathering a little strength… and then she would get back up and continue crying, demanding her baby back.

She was not stuck.

She was on strike.

A mother refusing to give up on her baby. 😭❤️

After two long days, Mama was finally trapped.

And from that moment, we knew one thing:

These two would stay together. No matter what.

Years passed.

And still, no one came forward to adopt them together.

I have been fostering them for years, and unfortunately, I am completely out of space.

I never came to this country expecting to rescue cats.

I came here without any cats at all… and somehow, along the way, I found myself fostering and rescuing so many lives. ❤️

My husband’s job may require us to move someday, and I have already postponed moving twice because of the choices I made and the cats I committed to.

Sometimes I lie awake and wonder:

“If I had to move tomorrow, what would happen to Mama and Baby?”

The rescue would take them back, but they are already struggling financially and are at capacity.

And my biggest fear is whether they would still be able to keep these two together.

After everything they have been through…

After everything Mama did to get her baby back…

I cannot bear the thought of them ever being separated. 💔

They have already waited years.

They don’t need another temporary place.

They don’t need another person to give up on them.

They need someone who will look at these two little girls and say:

“You are home. Both of you. Forever.” ❤️

They are ready for their forever family! 🏡🐾

Both are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and vaccinated.

🦷 Baby had some teeth removed last year.
🦷 Mama had a dental cleaning/polishing and a few teeth removed this year.

They don’t need a perfect home.

They just need a home that understands that Purrl and Pawlet ..Mama and Baby ..come as a pair. ❤️

A home with a screened porch would make them very happy.

A little kitty grass would make them even happier.

And maybe, if they’re lucky, some treats four times a day.

Most importantly, they need someone who will never make Mama wonder where her baby went again.

A mother who spent two days crying in the snow for her baby deserves to know that her baby will always be beside her.

They waited for years.

Maybe their family is finally out there. ❤️

Please come forward for Purrl and Pawlet.

Please share their story.

Help these two little girls find the forever home they have been waiting for.

Together. Always. 🙏❤️🐾

Boots — FIV+ Affectionate Lap Boy Living in a Garage Needs a Loving Home ❤️Location 📍:Charlotte,NC,USA

🐾 Meet Boots…a little soul who has been waiting far too long for a home.

Boots is an FIV-positive sweet boy who has been living in a garage for a year. With the weather getting hotter, I’m really worried about him. He deserves so much more than spending another year in a garage.

Pet finder link:[https://www.petfinder.com/cat/boots-91cdbb26-8ba0-4f22-8fca-fbfda4b48a6e/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/\](https://www.petfinder.com/cat/boots-91cdbb26-8ba0-4f22-8fca-fbfda4b48a6e/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/)

Boots showed up sick and tested heartworm-positive. After treatment, he is now heartworm-negative and doing well. He is also FIV-positive, but that doesn’t change the loving, gentle cat he is.

For an entire year, Boots has been living in a garage. But his heart belongs inside. 🥺

Whenever someone walks into the room, Boots immediately comes running, begging to be let inside. And the moment he sees a person, he climbs right onto their lap. He doesn’t ask for much…just a little love, some attention, and a place where he can finally belong.

Watching him beg to come inside tears my heart into a million pieces. 💔 He looks at you as if he’s asking, “Can I be your cat? Can I finally have a family of my own?”

Boots deserves so much more than a garage. He deserves a warm bed where he can curl up at night, a safe home, gentle scratches and belly rubs, and a person who will choose him and love him for the rest of his life. ❤️

He is fully vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and flea-treated. We have done everything we can to get him healthy and ready for his forever family.

Unfortunately, our rescue is currently out of capacity. Adoptions have been very slow, intakes keep increasing, funds are extremely limited, and we have no available foster homes. 💔 We cannot keep taking in cats while we have nowhere for them to go, but we also cannot stop caring when we see a cat like Boots who desperately needs help.

Now Boots needs a family of his own. 🥺❤️

🏠 Adoption requirements:
• Indoor home only

Please, someone give Boots a chance. Let him finally know what it feels like to have a family, a warm bed, and a place he can truly call home.

He has spent a year waiting. Please don’t let another year pass him by. 🙏🐾❤️

The Most Affectionate FIV+ Boy, Boots, Has Lived in a Garage for a Year — All He Wants Is an Indoor Home 💔.LOCATION 📍:Charlotte,NC ,USA

🐾 Meet Boots…a little soul who has been waiting far too long for a home. ❤️

Note:FIV-positive cats can live with both FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats, especially when they are spayed/neutered and non-aggressive. They can live a normal, happy life just like other cats. ❤️ One of our FIV-positive cats lived to be 23 years old! 🐾💕

Pet finder link:https://www.petfinder.com/cat/boots-91cdbb26-8ba0-4f22-8fca-fbfda4b48a6e/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/

💔 I Have Only 2 Days to Find Chloe the Right Home ..She Was Neglected, Returned & Separated From Her Brother Tango😢. Now She Deserves a Loving, Caring Family. ❤️🐾Location:Charlotte,NC ,USA

Update: Thank you, everyone! ❤️ We were able to find a wonderful family for Chloe within just one day, and the adoption agreement has been signed. I’m so happy for Chloe! 🥹❤️

💔 Last Call for Chloe — Please Help Me Find Her Forever Home 🙏🏻😭

Pet finder link: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/chloe-9d87e70b-b216-483d-8d20-1097eda4d513/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/

I’m posting Chloe one last time, and honestly, this is breaking my heart. I have only 2 days to find the right family for her.

If I cannot find her a suitable home, the rescue will have to move forward with a family who is interested in adopting her. They are a good family, and I truly believe they would care for her. But deep in my heart, I don’t feel they are the right match for Chloe and the needs she has after everything she has been through.

I’m not looking for a perfect family. I’m looking for a family who will love her deeply, be patient with her, take her for her yearly vet visits, and never give up on her. Chloe has already been through too much. She deserves to finally know what it feels like to be home and never wonder if she will be left again.

The rescue cannot hold her much longer, and I feel completely helpless. I promised Chloe I would find her the family she deserves. Please help me keep that promise. 🙏💔

Meet Chloe ❤️🐾

Chloe is a beautiful 2.5-year-old fluffy tortie girl looking for her forever home.

She is healthy and fully vetted..spayed, microchipped, combo-tested negative, dewormed, deflead, and fully vaccinated.

But Chloe is not just looking for a home. She is looking for someone who will love her and never give up on her.

When Chloe loves you, she loves you with her whole heart. She follows her person everywhere, wants to be close to them, and won’t even let you go to the bathroom alone. 😂❤️ She follows me everywhere and sleeps with me every night.

Chloe may need a little time to trust because her heart has been broken many times. But once she knows she is safe, she gives her entire heart. She loves deeply, attaches deeply, and creates the most beautiful bond with her person.

Chloe’s story 💔

Chloe’s story began when her mama came from a feral colony and gave birth to Chloe and her brother. Sunkissed Acres TNR’d the colony and brought mama and the babies inside to safety. I fostered them and had the privilege of watching Chloe open her eyes for the very first time. ❤️

Her mama has since found her forever home.

When Chloe and her brother were only 8 weeks old, they were adopted together. Sadly, their first home was not the safe and loving place they deserved. They went through a very difficult time where they were hungry, thirsty, and covered in poop. Chloe also developed back issues, and we still don’t know whether she was accidentally hurt or if someone hurt her. 😿

They were rescued again and went through several foster situations before coming back into my care.

They were eventually adopted together once more, and we hoped this would finally be their happy ending.

But after 6 months, they were returned. 💔

We waited and hoped they could stay together because their bond was so special. Eventually, her brother found his forever home—but Chloe was left behind.

She missed him deeply. She cried for him. And during that time, she formed an incredibly strong bond with her foster mom.

Now Chloe is back in my care again.

My heart broke when I saw her return. After everything she has been through, she is still the sweetest girl who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and cherished.

I promised Chloe that I would find her the family she deserves…someone who will be patient with her, cherish her, and finally show her what it feels like to truly be home. ❤️

I wish with all my heart that I could keep her. I really do. But I already have so many cats, and Chloe needs a calm home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves. One of my cats also bullies her, and I don’t know how long I will remain in this country or how many cats I’ll realistically be able to take with me.

Chloe needs stability. She needs someone who will choose her and keep choosing her.

She doesn’t just live with someone…she gives them her entire heart. ❤️

She has been through so much, yet she still has so much love left to give.

Chloe is looking for:

🐾 An indoor-only home
🐾 Ideally, to be the only kitty, so she can receive all the love and attention she deserves or one or two very gentle kitty.
🐾 A patient family who understands that her trust is precious and worth earning
🐾 Someone committed to her lifelong care, including yearly veterinary visits
🐾 A family who will never give up on her

If you can give Chloe the safe, loving forever home she has been waiting for, please message me.

Adoption requirements:

• Adoption application required

Please share Chloe. 🙏❤️
I only have 2 days to try to change her story.

Chloe has been waiting long enough.

She is ready to love again. She just needs someone to finally choose her…and promise to be her forever. 🐾❤️

An Update on Our Sweet Blue — He’s Sick Again 💙Location:Concord ,NC ,USA

So many people have been concerned about Blue and have been sending him good wishes, so I wanted to give you all an update.

Blue is very sick right now. He is already FIV positive. His finder told me that he wants to eat, but he simply can’t. His teeth are in terrible condition, and his gums are swollen and painful. He is losing so much weight that he is basically skin and bones, and my heart is absolutely breaking for him. 💔

He is honestly one of the sweetest boys I have ever met. Every time I visit him, he greets me. I was treating him for coccidia, and he takes his medicine so easily. His fur is finally growing back, and he is now flea-free and lice-free. We have made progress, but he still needs to be pain-free.

I brought him some Applaws topper and Tiki Cat mousse, and he loved it when I added a little FortiFlora. He licked up all the food, which made me so happy, but I know this isn’t a solution. He needs proper dental treatment so he can eat without pain and start gaining weight again.

The good news is that a very kind girl has offered to adopt Blue. She is ready to love him and care for him, and at least he will finally be off the streets and have a safe home.

We are now looking for a good vet near her area who can treat Blue and help her care for him during his treatment.

The vet estimate is unfortunately beyond our current budget, especially with another rescued cat needing surgery soon. 💔 We are doing everything we can to keep Blue comfortable, but we know he needs medical care.

Please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts. He deserves to be pain-free, healthy, and finally safe. 💙

Blue is still fighting. And so are we.

💙 An Update on Our Sweet Blue — He’s Very Sick Again 💔Location 📍:CONCORD ,NC ,USA

His fur is finally growing back, and he is now flea-free and lice-free. We have made progress, but he still needs one very important thing:

He needs to be pain-free. 💙

I brought him some Applaws topper and Tiki Cat mousse, and he loved it when I added a little FortiFlora. He licked up all of it, which made me so happy to see. But I know this is not a solution. He needs proper veterinary treatment for his mouth and teeth so he can eat without pain and start gaining weight again.

The vet estimate is unfortunately beyond our current budget. We recently rescued another cat who also has a surgery coming up, and our rescue is already struggling with veterinary expenses.

And this is the part that is breaking my heart the most Blue is fighting, but right now we simply don’t have the budget to give him the medical care he desperately needs. 💔

We don’t want him to suffer, and we don’t want to let him down. We are trying to keep him comfortable and give him foods he can manage, but we know he needs much more than that.

I know there are so many animals who need help, and I am grateful for every single person who has cared enough to ask about Blue, send good wishes, or share his story.

Please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts. He deserves to feel comfortable, eat without pain, and have a chance to become healthy again. 💙

Cuddles says THANK YOU for all your prayers! 🥹❤️ Her biopsy came back NEGATIVE! 🙏🐾 She just needs a few more prayers to FULLY HEAL and keep fighting. 💕

This little girl is teaching me something new about life every single day. ❤️

Sometimes, a heart makes a decision before the mind has time to think.

A few days ago, I shared Cuddles’ story with you.

She was sitting in a shelter, scheduled to be euthanized. And without thinking about how full my home already was, how little space I had, or how I would manage another medical case with no funds set aside for her… I brought her home.

I simply couldn’t leave her behind.

I begged my rescue to pull her for me, and somehow, this beautiful little soul became my foster. ❤️

Then came the words I was terrified to hear…

“We suspect cancer.”

Two vets had concerns that it could be cancer.

But my heart refused to let go of her.

Not without knowing for sure.

So we did the biopsy.

And then began the hardest part…

Waiting.

Every day, I held my breath.

Every night, I cried quietly.

I would look at her and whisper the same prayer over and over:

“Please heal, Cuddles. Please stay.” 🙏❤️

I didn’t know what else to do, so I did what a desperate heart does..I tried everything I could. I even started giving her organic food because I had read somewhere that it might help. I don’t know whether that information was right or wrong… but when you love someone who cannot speak for themselves, you hold onto every little bit of hope you can find.

I came here and shared her story with all of you.

I asked you to pray for her.

And you did. ❤️

So many strangers, so many beautiful souls, sent Cuddles love, prayers, and hope.

And today…

Her biopsy came back NEGATIVE.

😭❤️🙏

I cannot even explain what that moment felt like.

Two vets had suspected cancer, but my heart simply wasn’t ready to give up on her without a full diagnosis.

And Cuddles?

She was never acting like a cat who had given up.

She is eating.

She is playing.

She is grooming herself.

She watches birds through the window.

She chases the laser.

She jumps for feather toys.

She gives me every little sign that says:

“I’m still here.”

She is full of life.

She isn’t giving up.

So how could I?

❤️

There is still a small concern from the vet that something could be deeper under the teeth that wasn’t fully visible yet… but we are choosing to stay positive and keep faith. 🙏

Of course, the story doesn’t suddenly become easy.

The vet has given me a treatment estimate that is far beyond what I can afford. She may need a specialist for her dental extractions, and that cost is even more overwhelming.

So here I am again, looking at another mountain and wondering,

“How am I going to do this?” 🥺

It feels like the moment one problem is solved, another one is standing right behind it.

But I have learned something from rescue…

Sometimes you don’t need to know how you are going to climb the mountain.

You just take the next step.

And then the next.

And you trust that somehow, a path will appear.

The Almighty has brought Cuddles this far.
I believe He will make a way for the rest. 🙏

Today, I just want to pause and be grateful.

Grateful for this little girl who refused to give up.

Grateful for the biopsy that gave us hope.

And grateful for every single person here who prayed for her when you didn’t even know her.

You may never know what your prayers meant to me during those nights when I was scared and quietly crying.

You helped carry Cuddles when my heart felt too heavy to carry her alone. ❤️

Thank you for loving her.

Thank you for praying for her.

And thank you for believing in this little fighter.

Cuddles is still here.
Cuddles is still fighting.
And as long as she is fighting, I will fight beside her. 🐾❤️🙏

They cried alone in storm drain..but they had each other .Now they need you keep them together. 📍Location:Charlotte,NC,USA

🌸 Meet Daisy & Maisey 🌸
Two tiny sisters. One incredible journey. One unbreakable bond.

Pet finder link: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/maisey-and-daisey-efd6aa20-585a-4343-ba36-db50152f2660/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/

When Daisy & Maisey were only 4 weeks old, their little world was turned upside down. They were found abandoned in storm drains behind a mall..tiny, scared, and alone without their mama. 💔

For 2 long days, they cried in that frightening place, waiting for someone to hear them. When we learned about them, we knew we couldn’t leave them behind.

Their rescue was an emotional roller coaster. As heavy rain started pouring down, our hearts sank. We searched and called for them, terrified that we had lost them. We felt helpless… until we heard a tiny, weak cry through the rain.

That little voice gave us hope. We searched tirelessly, and finally… they were both safe. 🥹🐾

These little girls had already experienced fear and uncertainty at such a young age. But through everything, they had each other. They became each other’s comfort, strength, and family. ❤️

Now at 12 weeks old, Daisy & Maisey have blossomed into playful, sweet, and loving kittens. They run, play, and fill the room with happiness. Their bond is truly beautiful, and we dream of finding them a forever home where they can stay together.

But rescue is not always easy. Our foster homes are full, our resources are stretched, and there are still so many cats and kittens who need help. Saying “we don’t have space” when a baby needs us is one of the most heartbreaking parts of rescue. 💔

As we try to make space for new cats in need, we may have to separate them… and even thinking about that breaks my heart. 💔

We never want to separate Daisy & Maisey. They survived their hardest days together, and they deserve to spend their happiest days together too.
Please help us find the family who will open their hearts and home to these two sisters.

They lost their mama’s protection far too soon… but they never lost each other. Now they just need a family who will love them both forever. 🩷

🌸 Meet Daisy & Maisey 🌸
Two tiny sisters. One incredible journey. One unbreakable bond.

Meet Tiny… 💔 Once broken by her past, mistreated and hurt by the person she trusted… now she is healed, learning to trust again, and waiting for her forever home 🤍 | 📍Charlotte, NC

Tiny’s story is not just a rescue story…
it is a story written in fear, rewritten in love, and carried forward by courage. 🤍

Pet finder link: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/tiny-b72304ff-358e-4b24-b3e1-904ac4e06ddb/nc/charlotte/sunkissed-acres-rescue-nc1270/details/

For nearly two years, Tiny lived in darkness.
She was mistreated and beaten by her previous mom with metal rod, left without proper food or care,
and confined in a dark, dirty cage where fear became her world.

When we rescued her, she weighed under 4 pounds..
a fragile little body, trembling,
a heart that had only learned to be afraid.

💔 Tiny didn’t understand kindness.

💔 Tiny didn’t understand love.

💔 Tiny didn’t trust humans.

She hid from every touch, every sound, protecting herself from a world she believed would only hurt her.
Fostering Tiny was not easy.

There were moments of doubt…
moments when people suggested euthanizing her,
believing her fear meant she had no quality of life.

But we saw something more.
Not a “dangerous” cat…
just a broken soul still hoping, somewhere deep inside.

So we stayed.

Patient. Gentle. Present.

Through every scratch, every hiss, every step back..
we chose her, again and again.

And slowly… something changed.

Tiny began to understand what she had never known before…

she was safe. 🤍

And then, like the softest sunrise, she started to come out of the shadows.

Today, Tiny is no longer the cat who hid.

She is love. 🤍❤️🥹

She plays, she explores, she adores her kitty friends,
and in her quiet, gentle way,she gives back a love that feels nothing short of miraculous.

Tiny is almost 3 years old and now a healthy 8 pounds.

She is looking for a calm, quiet home…

someone patient enough to let her heart unfold at its own pace.

Because once she trusts you,

you will hold something truly rare and beautiful.
