iPhone 17 Pro Max or Nothing Phone 3 coming from a iPhone Air (please read to understand)

I currently have a iPhone Air (since November 2025) and am looking to upgrade because I have many issues with my iPhone Air. First, the battery life is terrible on the phone as it drains very quickly despite being at 100% health; secondly, I only have one camera making the zoom quality terrible; third, the phone overheats when it feels like it; and lastly, I play Geometry Dash on my phone (sometimes because I own a PC and I play on there mainly) and I use the Mod loader called “Geode”, which I have sideloaded, meaning, since Apple is Apple, every 7 days, I have to go to my Mac to refresh my sideloading app AltStore and Geode. Since these issues are bugging me, I have made the decision to upgrade phone. I want to try Nothing because not only the majority of the people I know use Androids (mainly Samsung), but also I have always wanted to own a Nothing phone; but at the same time, everyone in my city uses a iPhone 17 Pro and I feel jealous with my iPhone Air (considering that it didn’t sell well). At the same time, I have to consider function over form so that’s why I’m asking for your opinion. Thanks and sorry for making you read all of this!

Is the base Macbook Neo better than my current PC specs?

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960
RAM: 24GB DDR4
SSD: 480GB

Asking this because I am planning on buying a 256GB Macbook Neo for travel. I usually play Geometry Dash and also watch Live streams, and even am in Discord VCs.

Nothing Phone 3 support on Cogeco mobile

I’m planning on buying a Nothing Phone 3 but am on the Cogeco network. I have seen that the Nothing Phone isn’t supported; however, when I looked it up, it said using a Cogeco SIM card with the Nothing Phone 3 should be fine with me missing out on some features that I don’t even care about. Is that true?

Changes happening to this sub after WWDC26

If you participated, you may have heard about Apple's next version of macOS, macOS 27 Golden Gate, which was announced a few short hours ago. Because of this, I have decided to make a new subreddit, r/macOS27GoldenGate !

r/macOS27GoldenGate will be the same as this one but for, well, macOS 27!

Update on that 2009 13 MacBook Pro…

So uhhh… the hdd connector is corroded and I found the real power pads (I used the wrong ones) and turns out, the hdd (before its cable broke off) was clicking. What do I do now and how do I clean it?

Edit: just removed the hdd and the Laptop is getting significantly warmer (the motherboard specifically) good signs!

MacBook Pro mid 2009 13” now powering on but the MagSafe charging light detects my Mac.

I’ve tried everything. I’ve done a SMC reset, held the power button for 10 seconds and plugging it in, and even disconnecting both the battery and ram. But no response. Just a MagSafe light. Please help. I was given this for free and I want to restore it.

And yes it does have a cracked screen. Pray that it doesn’t have a cracked lcd 😭
