Fun fact about Sonic Superstars: the OST was done last minute despite Jun already finishing the ost. in other words, it was somehow rushed
Originally, Jun Suneoue composed all of the songs using a similar sound font to the Sonic 4 games which he really liked. But at some part in the game, whether that be playtesting, or Jun finally coming to his senses, but Sonic Team realized the music was garbage.
So as a last ditch effort the tried to get other composers to remix the songs such as Tee lopes who worked on Sonic mania and TSR's ost, Rintaro Soma who worked on Sonic Frontiers cyberspace stages like 4-3 and 1-4 and other Sega games like the yakuza games, and toriena who worked on TSR and Crossworlds after.
but this was done very late into development, so late that less then 2 months before the game released, and demos were being let out, it still had placeholder music despite the game releasing in again, less then 2 months.
they of course couldnt change all of the songs in time and thats how we got the current ost. similar to Sonic 3 where that games ost was also done last minute despite Jun making songs for the game already
Decided to play Sonic 06 after seeing a bunch of people say its really overhated and not actually that bad
Not so Fun fact about Sonic OVA: it was originally supposed to be an actual series but the first 2 episodes sold extremely poorly, and canceled the anime. Then they localized it for the west, released it 3 years later and it became a major hit in the west.
Beat DMC 4 for the first time
Played dmc 1 and 3 before this a few weeks ago and i thought it was pretty good. Put of the 3 I played its the weakest thought. Dmc 3 was incredible but I loved dmc 1, probably because I had such low expectations going in since I didnt know anything about it and didnt know what I was getting myself into, and I was pleasantly surprised
But I do like this game tho. The first 12 missions were great, not as good as 3, but still great, and dantes intro was phenomenal. But it got a lot worse once I started mission 13 or 14, where i realized that his side of the campaign is just the first few missions again
and idk if its just me being ass at the game but dante was really hard to work with. Not buggy, but not as easy as nero or dante was in dmc 3. Everything feels more strict if that makes any sense. Enemies also didnt feel as fun to take down unlike nero or again, enemies in dmc 3. Didnt have as much fun with dante as nero or 3 dante, which left mission 13 - 18 to just be ok. Def the weakest part of the game.
But still great. Music is fire per usual, bosses were fun, visuals were great, va was great too although I couldnt hear the characters over the music sometimes, but fun game overall. A clean 7.5 - 8/10
i ranked every pre boost level stage. except Shadow 05. i dont feel like doing that again

What do yall think of the current era of Lego games with TSS and LOTDK?
Been seeing many mixed opinions, with some say its better than the older one and a massive improvement while others say its a mistake, or a horrible formula and should go back to the old one
Im indifferent. I very much enjoyed tss a lot and its one of my favorite games of all time, but lego batman was really boring. But none of those games hit the highs that LMSH1 has hit, so idrk.
I also wish i could a better photo for tss but the ps app is being a nuisance and not syncing with my phone
Why is Persona niche? Is it scared? Should I play a Persona game?
I want takemi to punish me more
