Bench press newbie here - advice would be greatly appreciated
I used to go to the gym fairly regularly about 12 years ago, but I only ever used machines. Got back into working out in March as part of my efforts to lose weight (down 75 pounds!) and wanted to get more comfortable with actual weights. After working up a bit with dumbbells, I got a bar and a half rack, watched a ton of videos, and did my first bench press a week ago. This is my third time. I consider myself an absolute amateur, but I want to get better and be safe while doing so. As such, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also, you can hear my shoulder make a popping noise twice. Not sure if that's normal...
