I did a similar post like this last week on Michale Jai White and the response to that post was pretty good (I even got a few suggestions, Blood and Bone was awesome.) so I figured why not do one for the other king of B movie martial arts movies.

So, what are your thoughts on Scott Adkins?

Personally I love his movies. Even his “bad” ones are at the very least enjoyable. The only movie that I can honestly even say that I did not really care for was Close Rang, but even then, I still enjoyed him in that movie.

Heck I even like when he plays the bad guy in movies like in Triple Threat or the Undisputed movies.

I find it odd though, both him and MJW should be bigger than they are. Both have gotten chances to shine in some pretty big movies, yet both are still regulated to rather low budget affairs.

The one thing that I do like about Scott though is that he seems to put his all into every role that he gets (I haven’t seen all of his movies, so maybe there are a few “paycheck” films in his catalog.) Then you’ve got MJW who clearly phones it in in a bunch of roles he gets, granted his good movies are exceptional.

Starting tomorrow I am officially starting as the daytime custodian of my high-school. I am moving to day after being a custodian for the night shift for only a year. I am curious, what is a daytime shift usually like for you?

How many shows are you currently watching and what are they?

So far I am watching 3 shows:

- The Westies (Crime show about the titular irish gang. Takes place in the 80s I believe.)

- Fightland (A guy gets set up and seeks revenge against his ex boxing promoter.)

- Lincoln Lawyer (Show based on the books of the same name.)

I am curious to know what you all think of this actor? He has a good screen presence and is charismatic. But his movies are, for the most part, extremely sub par. (I also dont like how it never seems like any of the bad guys he faces pose any sort of threat.)

Granted I haven’t seen all of them yet, but I am working on it.

I ask because I have the opportunity to apply for the morning shift at my High-school as the person that is currently in that shift is retiring. I currently work the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shift.

As of now I do not really have any preference towards either shift. But I am not against the morning.

It seems like so many people hate on RK Kanan. Some of the hate is extremely blown up. I see people happy about his ass whooping. Yet I legit don’t get why. (I get why in a literal sense.) He got retribution from someone who is equally as bad as him.

My nice thing is - He’s a very charismatic character. He is also very calculating without people knowing he is.

As the title says. Let’s say something positive about this character. It seems like people overly hate on the kid.

My positive as that the character has promise. The writers just need to focus his storyline a bit.

The QotD soundtrack is possibly one of the best movie soundtracks I’ve heard. I know that the whole album aren’t songs he sang. But what do you think Show Lestat would have thought of his movie counterparts songs?

I am in search of some good/active podcasts that have to do with the Final Fantasy series. Id love to add a dose of this series into my week. I have searched on the podcast apps I have and the only ones I see are either dead or strictly have to do deal with the MMO. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking to get a degree in film studies online. Would this be a good school to do that in? Also what’s a certificate and is it the same as a degree? Sorry for being all over the place.

How Is The Film Studies Program?

I am 35, male, live in MD. I was thinking about pursuing a dream and finally going to collage and giving it a real go. I am curious however, how is the Film Studies program? Specifically how is it online? Since that is how id be taking it.

I’ve never done online classes either. So I’m not even sure how that all works. Or how much they even cost. Like can I just take my time with the classes or what?
